Pieces coming from out of the screen felt a bit cheap most of the time, but it's still a really solid, original take. I wish it had a bit of 'checkers' energy as well, you know - the whole chaotic-chain-reaction energy - it felt rather structured with single moves, done one by one.

How does your game fit the theme?
I thought it would be cool to think about how a game of Chess could be made "out of control" and what I came up with was a game of Chess but as a roguelike, and where the piece you control keeps changing.
