Very ambitious project for a jam, but I think you did an amazing job at creating atmosphere and mood. Great work! <3

Developer

thank you, but yours, too! :D

That you crafted such a melancholic, emotional experience into so little time and space honestly amazes me. Really well done~!

Developer

Thx :) I also want to expand a little bit on the game now that the jam is over

This is a great looking game, but due to the colours and style of things, some items are really hard to make out what they are, but great job! You managed to do loads for a 48 hour game jam!

Nice visuals and atmosphere. I had a few problems to pick up some items when I accidently drop them on the floor, but other than that I liked it a lot! Really great job!

Developer

Yeah a lot of people in fact! I want to fix this in an future update.

Cool concept and great work on the atmosphere.
I wouldn't have minded it being a bit longer, actually... which is a good thing!

Developer

Thank you ^^ pacing is a hard one, so thats cool!

Interesting game. Love the aesthetic and the atmosphere.

The narration based on the texts on the walls is a really good idea. Perhaps you can fade them (like Edith Finch) using the distance of the player.

I think you can do a small full retailed game with a good story based on this concept.
Good job! :)

Great idea! Possibility of getting lost in the darkness... I wander off course some times lol Great use of the theme, well done.

Developer

and getting lost in one self...

Hey! Game looks really cool. But I really struggled to find the car keys, searched the house multiple times... Other than that, the narrative is great. I liked that every time i switched on the red switch, i was reminded of that simple idea: I have to go. Other than what other people already pointed out (missing cursor etc), great game!

Developer

I'm glad you liked it :) It's interesting that a lot of people pointed out the narrative, cause of lot of it was getting cut ^^

Only shows how much story you can do with very little :)

I liked it a lot! I would see this game as an interesting combination of a story focused 'walking simulator' kind of game with the elements of a puzzle game. There is definitely a P O T E N C H :D

Developer

I'm not sure about harder puzzle elements, but yes, I want to expand on it a little bit :)

Amazing narrative game. One of the best games I played during this jam. Very well structured and a super dense atmosphere. Loved the sound and music.

I really enjoyed the little details. It was a great idea to describe the pictures on the wall or the mirror. Cool idea with the footsteps.

Very beautiful video game poetry :)

If you want to please check out my game as well. I would be cool to hear your feedback :)

"Video game poetry" sound nice ^^ Yeah I really like to craft small experiences, thanks for the feedback :) Sadly I didn't had time to rate your game in time :/
