Nice concept, good artstyle and music, goes with the vibe. It was a bit difficult for me though, but nice jam entry overall :)

I liked the cat sound effect for the menu, a nice touch.

The idea for the game is a solid idea.  It could do with some refinement, and a few more levels, but it's quite nice.  Especially the cat in its little spaceship.

Super cute idea! I love cats so I HAD to play this one! I appreciated the pixel art of the cat - that was super good - and animated!

I noticed a bug where if I got a power pellet before my first one expired, it didn't extend the length of my spaceship, so it's like I never picked it up and the one I just tried picking up would still be gone - so I ran out of power pellets and got stuck on my first playthrough. 

A few things I would like to see:

1) More SFX - make it sound / feel good to play - there is potential here!

2) Possibly my preference, but if I had to start running from a bad yarn ball, it was hard to find a time to turn and shoot without taking damage, so maybe strafe / shoot any direction would be good to add

3) When flying, you constantly fall, which make shooting only in one line also hard to control at times, making the limit of how you shoot harder than it probably should have been for me

Otherwise, great game! Good job on this one!

Pretty cool! Got the yarn, simple and easy. Though shooting in the spaceship was a bit hard when trying to escape, but other than that was nice!

nice idea, simple intuitive controls. I mentioned on discord - would be cool if eating the dots also reset your spaceship timer :) good job completing the game game, I enjoyed the graphics and the music also went well

Love the idea of space kitties and yarn eyeballs! It can be a bit tricky to shoot from the spaceship while trying to escape an eyeball, but overall, the gameplay is fun. Thanks for sharing!

Found my ball of yarn! Ahhh the cat is so cute! I feel like I may have played this earlier before the deadline but the platforms worked. Did they break on your final build?

Cute lil game. The UI could be improved as the credits panel overlapped with the main menu buttons.

Maybe there's UI that I don't see for the spaceship timing? but it would be super reassuring to see A- how much ship time i have left and B- if picking up the orbs resets the ship time because I pick them but but I still blink as if time's running out. I seem to phase through the platforms when I return to cat form which sort of makes it hard when I used all lower platform orbs but can't reach them without spaceship? also, i think if you made the lasers mouse controlled too it would make it easier for some people to shoot without it being direction dependant (I would veer towards enemies to shoot but they move faster  than my A-Space-D reaction time)

Otherwise, cute game, cozy music, nice concept all in all :)) congrats on the submission !!

I’m a very simple person, I see cute cats in the thumbnail… I click to see what is all about.

One thing I noticed is a certain reference to PacMan, yarn monsters are vulnerable when the kitten is in its UFO form.

Anyway, good job, I know it’s a simple game, but it’s here, and we can’t ignore it, consider all the feedback about UI, controls and so on, keep improving, keep going!

Make more stages, randomize the right yarn ball. Make maybe an upgrade system, there’s a lot you can do if you want to keep going!
