Was fun to try out each of the minigames. Story/narrative was awesome, and I'm now gonna wait on a part 2 cause I wanna know what plan b was!!

Only nitpick might be the lack of visual/audio feedback in game, like when you can't see the direction the water is travelling during felicity's minigame, which could be fixed by something like floating particles like bubbles that travel in the  direction of the water, or more sound effects during the memory minigame when pressing each button. Though these are just suggestions so feel free to ignore them entirely!

Great job on this one!!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and for the detailed feedback. I completely agree with everything you said. I am glad you mentioned the memory game as I had in mind to improve that post-jam, (I think only in hindsight did I realise how important the sound effects are for a game like that) but you're right that Felicity's would also benefit greatly from showing the direction travelling, especially as dealing with the direction change is part of the game. Thank you for the suggestions - I'll implement these in future!

The fish benchmark :)

Jokes aside, I love the story and i must know WHAT IS PLAN B if plan A was that idiotic

Developer

Thank you for playing and I am so glad you enjoyed the story and the very idiotic plan indeed haha

aha, another mini-game aficionado! super charming game with truly funny dialog and a great narrative hook.
I think the mini games themselves could use a little more juice/game feel and the whole game would profit from sound effects, but in general I really enjoyed my playthrough.

Developer

Thank you for playing and the review. Yes I definitely want to go back and polish up the mini games post-jam. Thanks!

Great Fishcape is such a fun and charming entry, loved the variety of mini-games and the personality in the writing! The fish named Pierre had me cracking up, my boss is named Pierre so that made it extra funny 😂.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the kind words and I am glad you enjoyed it - I really enjoyed writing Pierre too!

cute game, didn't expect mini games but I think it was a great idea to scope it for the game jam :D

What a cool game! Impressive that you had three mini-games in this. Writing was clever too.

Loved the story and doing 3 games in the time frame was impressive. One criticism, while I liked the music overall I found it pretty disorienting during the Simon Says game. Sound is usually an important part of that kind of matching game and the lack of sound effects combined with the music not being in sync with the game made it feel off. Overall nice work!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback. I completely agree - I think the sound on Simon Says could use some work. I have realised now that the sound effects are a big part of that game especially so that'll be the next thing I look at adding post-jam.

There is a lot to like about this game.
In particular I like the style of the writing, and it's an excellent story overall.
It's great to have the variety of the three different minigames and see how you've tied it in.
The timing of the length of the game is great for a jam also.
I guess the main thing you could add is sounds to go with each action.
Overall it's an excellent game.

Developer

Thank you so much - really glad you enjoyed!
