Got the egg back! cool ant sprite. nicely done. sound and music would make a big difference!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Will definitely have to figure out music and sound for the update!

Hell Yeah, it was challenging, but I completed it. Ant art is good. But there were no sounds, anyway I don't mind. The gameplay is good.

Developer

Thank you! I’m glad you like the art because I’m fairly new to pixel art. And yeah I forgot about sound until it was too late lol

Doing a game solo in 10 days is commendable. I really liked the art style and animation you did for the ants, looks really good. The foundations for an interesting platformer are there, bet you learned a lot with this project.

Developer(+1)

thank you! And yes I learned a lot making this especially since it’s my first “complete” game made without a tutorial. I see you also made an ant themed game! I’ll be checking that out soon

Submitted(+1)

It's a nice simple platformer with potential to be extended with additional levels, enemies and powerups. Nice work

Developer

Thank you!

Nice work Justin!

It is complete, with reasonable game mechanics and good animations.
The sound, music, and story were a bit weak, but it was a quick to learn and partially challenging experience.

Check and rate my game too.
Have FUN :3

Developer

Thank you! And yeah I completely forgot about sound and music until it was too late and I didn’t want to worry about licenses and stuff.

This game made me realize  how thankful I am that ants don't shoot lightning in real life. Good job! Looking forward to seeing where it goes!

Thank you! I’m excited to see how I can improve it

Very interesting game, got some ideas for expanding while playing: have different bullet and enemy elements, add some bullet collision management and determine which bullet would get cancelled based on their element, ... This has so much potential. I love it x)

Developer(+1)

Ooh, I love those ideas! I wanted to implement the ability to block bullets, but I didn't have time. I love the idea of making it elemental based.

hey, thanks for getting the video up. looks good.  you could definitely take the game further :) add some extra mechanics and types of bugs. congrats

Developer

thanks! I’m excited to keep seeing how I can improve it

Nice job on the game. It's not my preferred genre as I find these quite difficult (my skill issue, not your game) and so having the gameplay video really helped! I liked the retro graphics and it was a nice idea to link to the theme.

Developer

thank you!

hey, you should try putting up a video so people can watch your game play if they dont want to download the files. congrats on completing. Your game looks good from the screenshot.

Developer

Thanks! I'll get that added soon.
