14990 on my first run, not bad! Man it gets challenging to remember which ammo kills which bugs once you get past 5. Nice twist to a clicker game, well done!

Really fun. I love how simple the controls are whilst being difficult to play as you have to remember what each one was. Really well executed!

Nice concept, I like killing bugs

Nice game controls are solid, I need to know the secret to the universe lol

I liked this game a lot! I started off being the best there ever was, then i went down felt like i could not hit anything properly then pulled it out of the bag and then i got swarmed!

A true rollercoaster of emotions, it's rare a game does that nowadays!

Awesome stuff!

I had so much fun with this one, I thought level 10 was the max I could get but then I reached level 11 and it all went south fast!

Also, that audio feedback when you switch ammo type, that right there, is the good spot. It was so satisfying hearing that click whenever I swapped ammo.

Great job!

This grew nicely over the rounds. Got my head into gear about which number does what. got to 4 and didnt think I could add in a 5th, but managed it,.. 6th was where things got tricky :P.
I'd love a 2 button, next/last system for cycling through.

Great feedback on shooting the wrong ammo.
Visually the centre base didn't stand out enough from the background.

Fun game, quite enjoyed this :). Well done!

Loved it! Very addicting.

I also made game about defending a cpu! This was super fun and gets really hectic. Great job! Love the whole vibe.

Nice, it got pretty fast later on, I like it. It was nice that you had to keep switching between the enemy types, kept the game more interactive and entertaining than just shooting with one type. Made it to 100k xD. Well done!

Developer

Congrats, I think that's the highest score I've seen! You have definitely beaten my best 😄

I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FINGERS!!
Haha creative concept, and well-executed! Nice work!

You’ve done an amazing job! Everything feels smooth and the audio adds so much atmosphere. Loved it!

Fun little game! I got to 10000 points Great Game😁😁😁

Really great and addicting gameplay! Everything works super great, although i had some issues with 5 and 6 alpha keys, as Beebster said, E and R would be a good option as well. Or maybe scroll the ammo type additionally with a mouse wheel. I also had some annoying overlay to the right, which didn't allow me to aim anywhere about 1-2 o'clock. But in generall, the game is an absolute banger!

Developer

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! I'm interested in the overlay you mentioned - was it a bug with the game? A screenshot would be super helpful if you have time! 😄

Overlay issue

So my cursor is actually in the blue bug, but the aim window can't move to the right because of the overlay

Ah thanks for clarifying! I think that's an unfortunate combination of the itch.io website's metadata display, and the game jam having a long name. I can have a play with the game page header customisation to try and give it more space so the game jam link doesn't cover the game. Thanks again!

Edit: I just realised those links are sticky in the web page so the only other thing I can think of is allowing full screen. I'll see what I can do :)

Developer(+1)

Okay, that was easier to fix than I thought it would be. I just enabled the fullscreen button on the itch page. So now there's a fullscreen button at the bottom right of the game, which should solve the issue. Enjoy!

Impressive, thank you very much for the fix!

Your mechanics were outstanding. The game was just excellent.  Well done.

The only change I would make would be instead of keys 1-6 I would make it key 1-4  and key E and key R. I play WoW and those are the keys that are easiest to get to with the left hand.

The game keeps you invested, and I really enjoyed playing it! You might consider adding some variety to the weapon swap mechanic, as it was a bit painful for my fingers. I loved the idea — the theme fits perfectly, and the gameplay is excellent. Great job!

I hope this doesn't sound mean, but this was so much more fun than it has any right to be.
I think you know a whole lot about juicyness, because I just wanted to keep going - it just felt really, really good. even the UI for the ammo type was animated! the madness!

If they had a juice category, I would give you first place.

Another Godot game! I think the ability to swap ammo types for different enemies is a really cool idea! Volume controls or the option to lower the volume would be appreciated.

Submitted(+1)

Cool idea!  Definitely gets difficult when you get 6 bug types, but in a fun way.  Would be nice to have some volume controls, but I did enjoy it regardless.

Submitted(+1)

Nice! I die real fast because I cannot use number keys and mouse at the same time on my setup, but it made for an extra challenge.
The sound for the core getting damaged is quite a bit louder than the rest, and a bit annoying, I would suggest lowering its volume.
