Cute game, and tough. Well done! Maybe make the dash a bit longer? It's hard to get close enough to something without touching it and then be able to dash under it without getting touched on the other side. But it was fun!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :) I agree the dash can use a bit more of polish as I focused more on the time stop itself, but thanks for the feedback :)
But it is difficult
Good Game.
Thanks :) In response to your other comment, definitely tried to make it challenging
I kept playing until I won, really nice game!
Thank you for playing :)
I died a lot. Very good game. The only thing I can mention is that I am not sure the time jumping suits very well the theme of the gamejam
Thanks, glad you like it :) The way that I planned for the game to fit the theme is based on an anime, JoJo's Bizarre adventure, where one of the antagonists has a "stand" called the world that has time powers (hence the tiny world behind the character). Sort of a reference and a pun at the same time
I had fun playing but found it to be a little unforgiving when it cam to run jumping, maybe its just my skill issue haha
Glad you had fun :) The idea was to make it challenging, and I'm seeing comments between it being unforgiving, or a good challenge so you're not alone on that xD
Hello :D I really enjoyed your game! like the others, the Time Freeze mechanic was super awesome to play around! One suggestion for your next go is sound effect implementation simply for general feedback when you jump or get sliced (just a simple quality of life adjustment). Otherwise I enjoyed navigating through til the end. Very well done for your first game :)!
Thanks, glad you liked it :) Wanted to include some more SFX but couldn't find ones that were as i liked them in the given time frame, but at least i found the perfect ones for the time stop
Really enjoy your game! The third level was challenging but rewarding! The dash and time stop mechanics were fun to play!
Thanks, glad you liked it :)
Well done on completing your first game, it was really well done!
Thanks very much :)
Nice game for a first jam entry.
The game flows really nice, and the dash and time stop abilities are really fun.
Thanks for the game.
Thanks for the feedback :)
this was really nice to play, I love the time freeze mechanic the effect is really well done. it seems to be balanced well, its difficult but not impossible, just right to keep playing. Well done for making this in such a short time :D
Thanks for the input, I'm happy to get such comments on my first game jam :)
Awesome game. Perfect level of difficulty. I was on the verge of giving up but gave myself one more shot and was able to beat the final level. If I had to make a suggestion I would have preferred if jumping was the "W" key, and time stop was the spacebar. The reason is so all controls can be on one hand and I don't have to shift my fingers to select a different input
I didn't really understand the theme adherence but that might just be me. Overall a solid game
Thanks a lot :) For controls I went with what felt natural for me but would love to learn how to do rebind-able controls. As for theme I'm curious if someone realizes it, but it's based on an anime (yes the powers and ending are a JoJo reference)
That's a super cool game! Amazing what you achieved in this jam! Maybe it's just me and the lack of coordination in my fingers, but for some of the controls (e.g. dash, freeze) I'd love to use the mouse. Other than that, the best game I played in the Jam so far!
Thanks so much, I'm glad that you like it. As for controls I went for what felt natural to me but I agree I could have added more to fit a wider audience. One of my near-future goals is to learn how to do control re-binds to allow players to adjust them how they like
Nothing to say except that you did a great work. I need more levels.
Glad you liked it. Was thinking of trying to add more, but for the purpose of the jam decided to leave it at 3, where the third is a bit longer and more challenging
Really great the time stop ability was really smooth also the level design was nice!
Thanks a lot :)
Excellent mechanics, I don't recall anyone else doing this. If it's not difficult for you, please rate my project :)
Thank you, appreciate the feedback :) Went ahead and played and rated yours too
The time stopping mechanic is really cool and the levels are well designed around it. One bug I noticed is that you can dash into walls and get stuck and sometimes dash straight through them bypassing parts of the level. Nice game overall!
Thanks for the feedback :) Tried to avoid warping into walls as much as possible, but I'm assuming you found a place that i missed. Otherwise for the final level being able to skip half of it, I know about it and left it there intentionally
Like art style!
Good job!
Thank you :)
The art style/aesthetics are amazing, love the glowing barrier obstacles! Time stop mechanics work really well and are really fun to use. Music and sound effects are great and the difficulty ramps up really well. All in all a great game!
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the effects on the barrier, I took time to learn camera filters for this and quite proud on how that turned out :)
I must say, the time stop mechanics are kind of cool.
It can be a little difficult at times, but is a fun game with nice aesthetics.
Good job!
Thanks for the feedback :) I tried going for a more challenging approach, especially for the last level
