First of all… Shopy Mc Shopface - best name EVER!
The original guitar music is a lovely touch. I give extra points for all original music, even if there’s a string or two out of tune lol.
The fact that you were able to fit in a pretty descent sailing sim, complete with a changing wind system and points of sail including sail trim! That’s freaking impressive!
Unfortunately, I fell off the stern of my ship while sailing downwind and watched my girl sail off without me. A solo pirate’s worst nightmare.
Impressive game!
i see the hardwork behind it and i love the pirate-like games i really enjoy them alot but sadly i am not sure why the game was super laggy and i couldn't get out of the first house , tried few times but it is still the same i got only far as the shop and when i went to my boat everything was super super laggy i couldn't move, but overall i love the concept i hope you fix those things, i'll try it out again ❤️
Nicely done with this game entry!
Interesting project! Really impressive how much you took on for a jam. I had a few performance issues with the web version on my end, but I truly respect all the work that went into this. Keep it up and definitely finish it!
Thanks! for the future i am thinking of making multiplayer and some more story.
The boat mechanics were fun and felt good to control. I liked the sailing moments when the wind carried me out onto the water. The frame rate was a bit rough in the browser at times. Overall, a solid effort, congrats
Liked the game! enjoyed it,Great job!
thanks
Thank you for your comments on the FPS. I have released a patch for the game where I changed the amount of particles in the fog and cloud. And added VisibleOnScreenNotifier3D to the enemies and boats and NPC’s.
Note. On WebGL there is a small bit of lag when the game starts and you see an enemy for the first time. but it is way better than it was before.
I like the art style a lot, unfortunately the frame rate was too low for me to be able to get very far
i just released a patch for the fps.
My PC unfortunately couldn't handle this game well and had a very low framerate. But it seems like a very cool and interesting game! In any case, good work on this!
i just released a patch for the fps.
It's a pretty good game, my frame rate in browser was terrible and the game could do with some better models and textures, but other than refinement, it's all there.
Thanks for the game!
the reason the frame rate is low is i have thousands of particles for fog and clouds
i just released a patch for the fps.
Great game, love the boat mechanics. Very fun !
The boat is fun to use! Great job👍😁
Thanks
Not sure what is going on but my browser it won't run properly. Mouse looks up and that's about it. Firefox 138.0.4 (64-bit) on Ubuntu.
I've had similar Firefox problems with a handful of the Godot games here. I would just switch to Chrome for them
I love the boat mechanics! Once I started sailing, it was home free. A bit of post processing to tune down the brightness of the colors on all the textures would be nice, though. Playing this in the dark burned some holes in my eyes! Other than that, awesome job! Godot is no easy engine to work with!
thanks
Frame rate was pretty rough for me in the browser! I had a blissful moment there when the wind carried me out onto the water. Some less repetition in the music and textures would make the experience more enjoyable. Yarr matey!
thanks for the feed back.
