Great game! It took me some time to get the controls, but once I did, it was really fun. Keep up the great work!

Looks and sounds quite nice. Looks like you put a lot of effort in. I found the controls pretty cumbersome (which it sounds like you're aware of), and I had to play windowed since it didn't scale properly on my ultrawide.
Thanks for your work on this!
Good job finishing your game!
I had the same thoughts as others had about the game. The difficulty and controls were issues. But I really wanted to comment on what you wrote on your game page regarding your own thoughts on your game. I thought it was very insightful with what worked and what didn't. It's definitely something I need to work on for myself. Through what you wrote, I feel with enough iteration, you would do very well improving this game.
Good luck with your game dev journey!
Cool game. I really like the visuals and good job with the isometric view! I found it a bit difficult even on easy, but maybe I'm just bad lol. The first spell seemed really difficult to aim, I mostly stuck to using the W spell.
Great work overall! I think it’s a little hard to figure out at first but once going it makes sense and is pretty fun. Hitboxes and control felt a little weird to me, I think the game would’ve benefitted a lot by being less 3d? Like, having to run over the little pickups perfectly was not very fun, and it’s easy to think you’re going to hit something with a spell and then not, or move a way your character doesn’t like. Enemies are really slow to respond to being hit, also, which makes the whole thing feel a bit unresponsive.
But those are all real easy things to tweak!
Ja... I think your feedback is super valid, I had a lot of difficulty with the isometric view (which I really wanted) but figuring out the math to keep things 'level' was beyond me, and the small narrow paths did not work well with the click... but lessons learned and its all a journey figuring out what fits what... thanks for the kind feedback :)
I really enjoyed the concept. I had some issues though, with not being able to pick things up and also it said I had something destroyed when all my things seemingly had full hp. But alas, I enjoyed myself anyway, good job :D
Very nice idea. Good realization too! I had a good moment playing your game!
Everlasting life is at hand!
I like the concept for the game! Casting spells to destroy your enemies is always fun. :)
I found it difficult at times to get Edrick to go where I wanted him to, or to pick up some items he was standing near. I heavily relied on the W skill since it was easiest to target and seemed very effective (I played on easy so maybe it's not always as powerful as in that mode.)
Very cool idea. Once I got the hang of it it was very fun! I think displaying some sort of indicator on the ground where you are moving to, or visually indicating that you have targeted an enemy or a station would be a solid QOL improvement. Its entirely playable without that though! Very fun concept! Great work!
I love this game , its super cute, idea of throwing your spells around to defend but also needing to give them up to progress is an intresting mechanic, picking stuff up is a little wierd sometimes but mostly fine, I think the game would greatly benefit from perhaps a timer and some score, how many enemies you kill, and how fast you win, but good job!
Difficult to get started but very interesting game. I liked the strategy, but the controls made it a bit difficult for me to make it far into the game. Not sure what the Q attack was supposed to do because the indicator showed a line attack, but the fireball launched off into the air. Either way it's a pretty cool game and it seems like you were able to put a lot into this in only a week. Great entry.
The webgl version was very buggy, so i had to download and test. There is only a windows version, it works but a linux version would be nice as well.
It took some time to find out, that i have to collect the items on the ground to cast the spells. But the mechanics are quite advanced. Nice 3D world easy to navigate but hard to control my character when pressing the right mouse button. Nice sounds.
What does the cauldron progress do ?
Good job.
Difficulty is a bit high as sometimes you have to defend 2 spots at once not to lose. That's understandable for a jam though. Speaking of which: graphics look real neat, especially for a jam game. Love the inclusion of abilities, tho I was hardly able to get enough items for them. Maybe one on a house could do the trick. Overall pretty cool experience.
The aesthetic is nice but the game is very hard though.
It's hard to control and the spell is kinda unreliable.
Melee is the only reliable thing to deal with the knights, but it's not good to win the game.
I don't know why Eric's life got lower when the knights hit the stuffs and not him. Kinda frustrating on this matter.
It could potentially become a good game. You just need to focus on having consistent rules and reliable abilities.
