This has the potential of being super good! As mentioned, ability to separate the stacks is needed.

Also, I could not stack the same material more than 2-3 times. So 6+6 for the hourglass, never made it unfortunately. Also 3+2 would give 4 sometimes, if it got to combine them.

But overall, I liked it very much.

This is a great submission!

The unique idea of merging the items by dragging them together based on recipes is really interesting. I think you did a great job on the game!

Really interesting concept. Mixing merging, tower defense and strategy.
At my first try, I got stuck because my workbench kept producing wood and I hadn't created a second one to produce planks.

And, by the way, its has the MOST BEAUTIFUL workbench I've ever seen ;)

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the bench :D

This game is absolutely phenomenal! The artwork is stunning, and the mechanics are executed perfectly. It provides an immersive and thrilling experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Incredible job!

Love the idea, keeps me thinking while I wait for the next enemies! Great asset choice and very original idea !

A merge game with a tower defense? What a crazy idea! It's awesome. It took me a while to understand what I had to do, but then I got the hang of it. I hope you continue with it. Congratulations on such great work in such a short time.

Very interesting game! I haven't played a merge RTS before and found the mechanics hard to grasp at first, then compelling once I understood. I love the retro aesthetic! Sure, sound and music would have been nice, but are just extras around a core that is already solid. I hope you have a chance to flesh it out.

After some trail and error I did figure out how to mass produce towers, but I found that the board get quite crowded after a while. I like the combination of merging and tower defence. Good work !

Craft + god marge and survivle?! that a very intreasting take of the idea that i have never thing its possible and i truly like that!
its still look like rath, but if its can go farther, hard to imagin what its can become!

i love it!

This is an ingenious idea! Like holy moly I never could have thought that turning a crafting/merging simulator into a tower defense game would work so well

Kinda softlocked my game though after accidentally turning my only crafting table to an excavation site XD, would also be cool if we can stack/separate items since currently seems like there's no way to do that.

Would love to see even more polish (game lacks sound effects & general oomph to the game feel) but the base for a promising future game is there! I want to see it developed further, great job!

This is really clever! It took me quite a while to understand what I was doing (I think a brief tutorial could help). Once I understood it I was having a lot of fun with it. I think I summoned an unbeatable boss.

It's an unusual game in this gamejam! I like the concept, even if I didn't understand all the mechanics (maybe a little tutorial is missing).

Very interesting idea, and very unique for a game jam... Well done!

This is such a cool idea! It took me a little while to completely understand what to do - I didn't realise the workbench needed free slots around it to spawn items for example, but once I got the hang of it it was great fun to play!

The game is fun but you need to understand so much before having a correct start.

The fact you can't unstack the ressources can spell your doom.
But once you setup a factory it is quite nice but can become overwhelming as the generation never stop.

Things I would love to see:
 - unstack ressources
 - start/stop the factory
 - automate a production line (forest -> bench)

Great game

Awesome game loop. I found this very fun to play once I got the hang of this. I think that a good intro/tutorial would help get the grasp of the game. Also I was trapped on my first playthrough because I didn't spend the resources in the correct order. I think the game can be a little more forgiving to the player by providing some additional resources in case they don't craft in the intended order.

Great entry!

One of my favourite games of the jam, the more I played the more I learnt, it was so interesting.
Thank you.

I like the theme and mechanics but i have a hard time combining them togehter.

How does it work? I see the recipies but drag and drop doesnt work and clicking on A and then B neither.

Developer

Drag and drop should work. Are you dragging the recipes or elements themselves? Example is to drag 2 planks on the rock or 2 rocks on the plank. Also, any objects of same type and level can be dragged on one another

I love the game! Really great potential on mechanics. I think you should consider upgrade your game after the jam. Thank you for your effort!

Developer

Thanks! I will for sure.
