Really fun entry! I love the visual style, and the music and sound effects complement it really well while also fitting the gameplay. The gameplay loop is really addictive. Controlling the boat is unique and challenging, but I believe this contributes greatly to the fantasy that you’re not just controlling a character, but an actual boat. 😆 Awesome job!

Really nice take on the theme! I love the art style! The character movement felt smooth and responsive, and the ability mechanics were well executed—they actually helped me progress further and further. The game loop is addictive, and the sound effects and music complement the gameplay really well. Awesome work!
If you plan to continue working on this entry after the jam, a small suggestion: make it more obvious that the rockets hitting you are actually causing damage. Aside from the health/mana loss, you could add some screen shake or change the sprite color. I didn’t read the tutorial and ignored the warning, so at first, I thought I was supposed to catch them! 😆 It was really fun playing this. Great job
Woah, nice job! This feels like a complete game! I love the art style—it gives me those old flash game vibes. Great work on the gameplay loop and making it function so well with just two buttons! I love the gym feature; you basically used the same mechanic for the workout but managed to make it feel completely different from the arm wrestling. This has huge potential! Awesome job—I’m saving this to my game jam gems collection!
Really nice concept! There are some glitches here and there, but that's normal for a game jam entry—well done on submitting! I really like the sound effects; they fit the gameplay well. You managed to make the shooting feel really powerful! I wish I had more bullets so I could shoot even more because it's so fun. Nice job!
Woah, what a cool concept! It's really challenging to follow the four planes. I love the art style and overall aesthetics—the added filter is a really nice touch.
The sound effects and music fit perfectly with the gameplay and visuals. Awesome job!
I'm adding this to my Game Jams Gems collection for a later replay. Fantastic work once again!
Daaamn, what an eye candy! Like others have mentioned, it's a really juicy entry—but in a way that’s balanced, not overwhelming. The music and sound effects fit the gameplay perfectly.
Moving the character felt smooth, and firing the gun was super satisfying. You also managed to make the slam feel really powerful—awesome job!
I'm definitely saving this game in my Game Jam Gems collection. Are you planning on expanding it further?
Once again, fantastic work!
Awesome entry! I love the pixel art style and the color palette! The tutorial is really well done—I like how seamlessly the enter-your-name field was introduced mid-cutscene.
I love the music and sound effects—I think they fit perfectly with the gameplay. The only thing that felt a bit overwhelming was the screen shake—it was a little too strong for my taste and made me feel a bit dizzy.
But overall, fantastic job!
Apart of the little glitches here and there it was really fun game. I loved how the little fellas were spawning everywhere—at times, I got so overwhelmed that I couldn’t decide who to crush. 😆 Well done, I had a great time playing it!
The music fits well with the gameplay, and the crushing sound effects really make it feel like you’re smashing something. It's also a nice touch that you can destroy the buildings as well.
I hope you continue developing and polishing this after the jam because it was fun to play!
What a fun little game! The minimalistic pixel art is great, and I love how the sound effects fit perfectly with the gameplay and visuals. I wanted so badly to press that red button (and I did at the end). 😆 Awesome entry!
Just a couple of suggestions if you decide to work on this after the jam: consider making the player a more distinctive color to contrast more with the enemies, as I often got confused about which character was mine. You could also integrate the button as a game mechanic instead of just an end-game goal.
For example, players could earn a high score by defeating enemies, gradually charging the button. Once fully charged, pressing it could wipe out all waves at once, giving a huge high-score boost—then resetting the charge back to zero.
Really nice entry—well done!
Really cool take on the theme! The weapon mechanic is really well-made—it’s super satisfying to use. The music and sound effects fit the gameplay perfectly, and the pixel art is really nice.
Awesome work! Just a suggestion if you plan to continue working on this after the jam: consider adding a bar or indicator to show how much time is left before the weapon overheats and explodes—it was a bit difficult to gauge just from the animation.
Really nice entry—well done!
Really interesting take on the theme! I like the visual style of the game—the weapons feel powerful, and shooting at enemies is really fun. The blur effect is an interesting choice, making progression through the levels more challenging. The sound effects fit the gameplay well.
A small suggestion if you plan to continue working on this entry after the jam: consider toning down the post-processing effects slightly and adding some extra game juice, like screen shakes or visual indicators when hitting enemies.
Overall, really great job! Well done!
Really nice take on the theme! Vampire Survivor's game like is always appealing. You've used the assets well and managed to create a fun experience. I love how smoothly the character moves, and the sound effects fit the gameplay and visuals really well.
I also really like the one-shot death aspect of the game. I only missed some epic background music to set up the mood more.
Fantastic job—keep up the great work!
Nice take on the theme! I like the visual style of the game. The tutorial level at the beginning is well executed, introducing the main mechanics without interrupting the gameplay. The music and sound effects complement the gameplay really well.
You've managed to create a truly cohesive experience, and the gameplay is addictive as well.
One suggestion if you decide to continue working on it after the jam: consider adding some visual feedback when hitting zombies—some pushback or a change in sprite color to indicate damage. Adding some extra game juice like screen shakes could also enhance the experience.
Overall, awesome job! Keep up the great work!
Awesome level design! I love the pixel art style and the color palette. The music and sound effects fit really well with the gameplay—you've managed to create a truly cohesive experience.
I also love the parallax effect—it’s an awesome touch! Great job on the narrative as well. Once again, fantastic work!
Really clever take on the theme! I love the art style and the cozy vibe of the game. The music and sound effects contribute to the coziness really well. I also love the menus—excellent job with this entry!
A small suggestion if you plan to work on it after the jam: consider integrating the tutorial into the gameplay through the customers and the level, removing the need for a tutorial button. It would also be nice to include the names of the plants in the seed selection on the side, or have a separate book for reference.
Once again, really nice job!
Nice entry! I love the minimalistic pixel art style, and the color palette was really well chosen. The gameplay is addictive and fun —I just missed the sound effects and background music.
A little suggestion if you plan to work on this entry after the jam ends, is to add some juice to it—some screen shakes on certain occasions, here and there, music, sound effects, etc.
Great job on the design and animation of the enemies and characters. Really nice work!
That was fun to play! It reminds me of the old arcade game King of the Monsters—this entry brought back so much nostalgia and great feelings. I love the minimalistic pixel art style, and the color palette was beautifully chosen.
I really enjoyed the background music—although it contrasted with the gameplay, it gave the game a chill vibe that made it feel relaxing in a unique way. Awesome job! The sound effects fit nicely with the gameplay.
A small suggestion if you plan to continue working on it after the jam: consider allowing players to stomp on people the same way they do with vehicles. Also, in the first sequence of the game before you become overpowered, there’s a static noise in the background music—I believe it might be due to an incorrect method of playing the music.
Overall, fantastic entry! I’m saving it in my Game Jams Hidden Gems collection for future replays!
What a fun little experience! Nice take on the theme! The cat was really OP. 😆 Controlling the character felt smooth and responsive.
I don’t know if it was just me, but at the beginning, the game had a really relaxing and chill vibe with the nice background music—then on the last level, the techno hit completely snapped me out of the trance. 😄 Really nice entry!
Also, great job on the narrative—it was really fun to play!
Really nice entry! I love the unique art style of the game. The music and sound effects immerse you really well in the gameplay. You've managed to make shooting with the gun feels really nice and powerfull. Awesome job!
I only had some FPS issues at certain points, but overall, it was an awesome experience. Nice job!
Wow, really nice entry! I think this is what I've missed in Vampire Survivors—a way to trigger abilities whenever I want. The charging mechanics before firing abilities are an awesome touch, preventing spamming like a maniac 😆 or waiting for a boring cooldown timer. It keeps you more engaged.
Awesome job! I love the techno music—it fits really well with the gameplay, and the sound effects are nicely chosen. Really great use of the assets—they look like they were made exactly for this game. Kudos!
Awesome job! I'm saving it for later!
Nice little entry! I've always been postponing playing Undertale, but after playing this, I think I'll give it a shot. You managed to use your assets really well and create a super fun gameplay loop! I love the music and sound effects—they fit really well with the gameplay! I got one-shotted so many times. 😆 Pretty tough one!
Awesome job!
Nice little entry! I love the player movement, and the shooting feels really smooth. The sound effects fit the game really well—I just missed some background music. :D The main menu was cool as well.
A small suggestion if you plan to continue working on it after the jam: consider making the enemies move in the direction of the bullets. Also, introducing the wall jump more clearly would help—since it took me a while to realize it was there. :D
Awesome job once again!
Really nice entry! I love the narrative voice—it brings a great retro vibe. The gameplay and assets also remind me of the old Flash games that I love and miss so much. :...)
If you plan to work on this entry after the jam, one small suggestion would be to make the pickable assets a bit more distinguishable from the hazards—it was a little tricky to tell which ones to pick up and which ones to avoid.
Awesome job!
You can see the tremendous work that went into making this entry. The gameplay is awesome—it's a little tricky at first, but once you get into it, it's really fun. The music and sound effects fit really well with the gameplay and narrative, creating a truly cohesive experience!
Also, I love how smooth the main menu is—pressing those buttons feels really satisfying. And your Itch.io game page is really professional as well. Nice job!
Damn, nice job! Really great use of the assets—you've managed to create a truly cohesive experience! You captured the post-apocalyptic feeling really well. The character movement was super smooth, and the shooting felt great. Awesome job with the narrative, and that plot twist was a nice touch!
P.S. I realized way too late that you can speed up the text by holding space. 😅 A small suggestion if you plan to work on it after the jam: consider adding a skip button or an indicator showing that you can speed up the text with the space bar. Also, making the bullets disappear when they hit the ground could be a nice touch.
Awesome job once again!
Awesome job—you can really see all the effort that went into this entry! I love the minimalistic pixel art style, and the sound effects were well done.
A small suggestion if you plan to continue working on this after the jam: consider lowering the background music slightly so the other sounds stand out more. Also, adding some visual feedback when hitting enemies or getting hit—like subtle screen shakes or color changes on damaged sprites—could enhance the experience.
Fantastic work once again! Keep it up!
You can really see all the hard work that went into this entry. It's impressive how much content you managed to pack in, given the limited time you had to work on it. We love the art style and the gameplay loop—it’s engaging and well-designed. Great job on the narrative as well! The music and sound effects fit the game beautifully, making for a truly cohesive experience. Fantastic work!
P.S. I’m curious—what did you use to create the character animations?
Wow, what a gem! I’m adding it to my Game Jam Hidden Gems collection :D. It also gives me a nostalgic feeling, bringing back memories of old Flash games, which I absolutely love. The art style is fantastic, and the menu animations are beautifully smooth. The music and sound effects fit the game perfectly. The shooting feels incredibly satisfying and powerful. Amazing job—it truly feels like a complete game!
