That was fun to play! It reminds me of the old arcade game King of the Monsters—this entry brought back so much nostalgia and great feelings. I love the minimalistic pixel art style, and the color palette was beautifully chosen.
I really enjoyed the background music—although it contrasted with the gameplay, it gave the game a chill vibe that made it feel relaxing in a unique way. Awesome job! The sound effects fit nicely with the gameplay.
A small suggestion if you plan to continue working on it after the jam: consider allowing players to stomp on people the same way they do with vehicles. Also, in the first sequence of the game before you become overpowered, there’s a static noise in the background music—I believe it might be due to an incorrect method of playing the music.
