Really interesting idea. Gameplay is solid, the text is a little hard to read, and audio would be a nice addition. Overall, very nice job!
The visceral feel of the battle is almost identical to random encounters and pitched battles in Destiny Of An Emperor 1 for the 8-bit NES by Capcom.
So i had a soft spot in my heart for that. Gameplay is solid, pretty pleased.
Could have used audio but i'm a musician so that's my bias.
Very pleased with this one, good job.
Gave you an itch follow, if you like the things on my page(s) consider doing the same.

This is a really cool game. Pretty simple but somehow very addictive :). I love your interpretation of the balancing mechanic. I was missing sounds and music, which would make the game much more engaging. Additionally the stats are very small on the units and there are a lot of numbers on the screen. Maybe adding health bars instead would be more pleasing to the eye :).
Congratulations to this very cool entry! I really enjoyed playing this. Keep working on it!
Thank you. I'm planning to change numbers and hide some of them. And currently there is no sounds and music. I couldn't find something suitable in short time. But I'm going to add it.
Very good game
Pretty cool! I like that we can get right into the action, not much waiting or setup.
Are the monsters picking a side randomly? I seemed to get way more of them on one side than the other, kind of threw off my planning.
Thank you. Yes, currently it's absolutely random. But I'm planning to do less difference between the sides.
yeah fun game, when defense is high units are invincible and the game become easy.
The concept is cool! Well done !
Fun game. Really liked the idea.
You could increase the size of the sprites to see the characters and monsters better. As their atributes.
A mini tutorial before explaining how damage and protection work.
Thank you. That is good idea
Very fun game ! Would have loved some audio, but the theme matches and overall a satisfying experience!!
Cool idea!
It was a bit hard to understand at first, since there are many parameters, but once I got the hang of it, I found it really fun! I think it has great potential to grow even further — especially if more unit types for both allies and enemies are added, allowing for more tactical depth.
Thank you. Sure I'm planning it too.
Really cool idea! The rng needs some adjustement, and it would be nice to have a bit more diversity with units and card-effects, but overall a smart game that makes me want to see more!
I like the idea, I have seen something similar being done with card games, where you fight on two or more lanes, but with armies like in this game it is something quite new.
Maybe the rng needs to be adjusted as sometimes I get all enemies on one side only for multiple rounds and I can't keep up, but with a bit of tweaking, some more upgrades, more units and synergies and maybe some roguelike elements I could see this being a very good game :D
Thank you. Yep, random need to be corrected. Sometimes it's ruthless
Ok this game is really fun! It took me a little bit to figure out what the red text versus white text showed on the screen, and also to notice that the units were actually displayed on screen also.
After that, it's such a neat fun concept to try to balance these two armies so that they continue to fight wave after wave!
Great job and very nice way to tie the theme right into the core mechanics!
Thank you. Not all my ideas were realized. But I will continue work on it
I can picture this concept being taken to all the way to a fully produced game! quite fun! I would have loved some music to accompany it!
Thank you. I will continue to work on it
