Nice art style and good gameplay! I assume your maps are procedurally-generated, which is cool for varied gameplay. Good concept!
For the open source category, you'll need to have a README file and License file.
Loving the full window mode right off the bat. There's a massive egg shortage where I am right now, so this is super topical and timely. Very funny. Chicken sounds are great, the game is super trippy. Creative and interesting art-style, and I like that you can use both keyboard and mouse to navigate. I got very stuck in terms of where to go... maybe starting a little simpler with the navigation would help. I kept seeing the chicken, but wasn't sure where to go, even though I followed it I kept ending up back where I started.
The game sounds are great, and I didn't even notice it was missing music, so it speaks volumes of your immersive game style and use of sound.
Thanks for pointing it out! I just added the README and the license file :)
Also, thank you for playing; I'm glad you enjoyed your time. Frustration for getting lost is a common concern and this seems another case where I should have caved-in to the obvious and add some navigation help... maybe at least a compass if not a minimap.
Oooo your README is great, nice work! Yeah a mini map would be awesome. Great job again on your game.
Wow, what an innovative entry. I really liked the art and the fighting mechanic! Here are a few inputs which might improve the game:
Anyway, this is a very cool entry and I really enjoyed playing this. Good luck for your other jam!
Thank you for your feedback! very useful!
Love the art!
Thank you!
Cute graphics, very original.
Thank you!
i loved this concept. i can’t even tell you how much i loved it. you’re opening up an idea of an entire chicken universe and a great way to explore it.

look forward to seeing a follow up on this!
Loved the hand-drawn style! Super unique and gives a nostalgic vibe. Great job!
Great art style and cool concept of balance, well done!
Nice work!
funny art style, nice work)
Thank you
Pretty nice game!
Seems like a lots of work is gone into making this a ball pen style.
I feel it will help to distinguish the walls as it's slightly disorienting. Also adding some sort of compass or wayfinder might help.
Some rooms have messages that were difficult to interpret. Teleporting rooms?
Excellent game and would sell well once completed!
Cheers from Canada!
Thank you! all of these are good suggestions!
It's hard to immediately understand where the walls are. Maybe the walls should be given a different color. It's hard to navigate, I wish I had a map.
Hmm yeah, I could have added some kind of "shading" to the walls while keeping with the minimalistic ballpoint pen style. :)
The decision not to have a map was deliberate but as always it's hit or miss because it requires players to really commit to the game.
It gives me the feel of old fps game!
Thank you!
Wow, the game's style is so cool !!!
Thank you!
Really cool asthetic. I did find myself getting a little disorientated in the maze but overall fun times!
Great art direction — the hand-drawn style and two-color choice are impressive and bring a lot of authenticity. The movement mechanics enhance the sense of volume and immersion in the environment, but navigation is sometimes confusing due to the minimal design choices; some visual cues on walls or a minimap would help.
Great job!
Thank you! I agree it could have made much better with cues in the wall, or furniture in the levels. We actively decided not to use a minimap but these thing could have helped a lot, I will consider them for future updates :)
Interesting game, confused at first but really original. Great job
Thank you!
Cute drawings, still it was difficult orienting myself without a minimap :)
Thank you! I actively decided not to use a minimap but could have done a better job to prevent disorientation some other way :)
I absolutely LOVE this artstyle. Its just like playing D&D in school during lunchbreak: ballpoint pen on paper. Great.
Also very cool gameplay-mechanics
Thank you! Glad I managed to evoke that feeling :)
