Fun and nice physics based game, I like the handdrawn style of graphics a lot and kudos for implementing the them very well.
Nice gameplay and cute graphics. Kinda reminds me of those flash games of old where you had to upgrade something to be able to reach a longer goal.
Very cute, good artwork and decent gameplay. I liked how the objects got progressively larger--that made me laugh. Just tossing this out there...I wonder how it would change the gameplay if the objects were a little "sticky"? And the objects fell at a faster rate? And we got some "sway" in the objects? And the plank grew as needed to accommodate the bulk of the objects? You got my creative juices flowing, anyway 😊
Wow thanks for playing and for all these suggestions! What do you mean by a "sway" in the objects?
In other words, as a group they sway back and forth (moreso as the stack gets higher)--like a skyscraper in gale-force winds. :)
Great physics, and I love that there’s two degrees of freedom, the player is forced to choose motion or rotation and both behave the way gravity wants them to.
Well done!
Thanks, bro! We're happy you enjoyed it!
I didn't really find the story mode fun gameplay wise but endless mode I find quite enjoyable! Though I gotta be honest... THIS AIN'T CHAOTIC ENOUGH! MAKE ME STRESSED, GIVE ME A PANIC ATTACK, GRAHHHH!! Okay I'm exaggerating lol but things could've definitely been amped up a bit, mainly just make the spawn rates faster and such. The slowness kind of makes it feel less like an arcade-y game and more of an idle game. Also, whilst the best planks look fucking sick, they do make the game a bit *too* easy, but honestly ah well.
What I can absolutely gush about is the writing and artstyle! The story has the dumb fun attitude of a Newgrounds cartoon and the art style is extremely fun and silly to match! Atlas's design is what drew me to this game in the first place, absolutely epic little bug-eyed thing. All of the items are well drawn and OH MY GOD, some of the plank designs are fucking BEAUTIFUL to look at. I absolutely loved the art, it's sooo charming and really made this game feel fun even if I thought the gameplay wasn't the best. Def going to follow y'all and see what cool stuff you lot make in the future :]
Wow bro, thanks for the time you spent writing all this, fully agree with the points you raised. (I'm shen, sound designer/writer and your sub is one of my favourites, good luck)
I'm kind of a sucker for physics based stuff so I really liked this game! I like the artwork of the little guy and his hands. Definitely one of my favorites!
Thank you so much!
I like the game. so funny and special i like the music
Thanks! The first music is not original tho, we wrote it in the credits (everything else is)
Really fun and unique game, graphics are nice and it was funny to see the different kinds of objects dropping. Without spoiling much, the house caught me off guard and then everything else after it :) Great job!
Thanks a lot! Yep, we tried to play a lot on the element of surprise. Good luck!
great game, matches the theme very well, has great art style and smooth controls, generally very fun to play
I noticed a few bugs/things:
there wasn't any button at the end of story mode to go to the endless mode or to the menu;
in endless when I began stacking a lot of things in the banana plank, they fell out of the sides;
it would be nice if in endless the camera would move out as you stacked higher
Thank you for playing and for the feedback!
About the bugs we are already aware of them but thank you very much for pointing them out! (There are actually more...) The idea for the camera zooming out is great and we plan to add it as soon as the jam ends.
Hilarious game!
Very fun to play, relaxing, and addicting, I wanted to see more every time a new object dropped.
Don't want to spoil but from the pyramid to the sun i laughed every time.
Unfortunately I closed the game and when I came back I found out there is no save, and decided not to restart, but it was fun!
We're happy to hear you had fun playing Atlas, unfortunately we're aware that a saving system would improve the experience and we would like to adding it in a future update. Thank you very much for playing!
I am so determined to beat this game! lol Got a good laugh out of me too. Great job with this. Simple and very effective.
Nailed it! One of the best entries I played, perfect game!
Thank you for playing! :)
I really like the silly nature of the game, and nice style and flair too! The way the objects ramp up so quickly is kind of funny lol. It seems like the objects after the house are a little too easy to balance however, I managed finish the game rather quickly with the moustle!
QUACK! Thank you very much for playing, the idea was to make the story mode QUACK enough to get to the endless mode.
Nice game! Very challenging, good work)
Absolutely love this game.
Gameplay felt really good, the artsyle fits together so well.
And i really liked how the audio was done when the scale started to get really big!
This was a really addicting game, good job on making this this is a great submission!

Loved the art style. Had a good laugh when the pyramid first came down, I didn't expect it to ramp up so quickly lol. Good job!
