Thanks for playing! :))

Thanks! Definitely incorporating this for a future release :)

Glad you enjoyed your time with it! :)

Congrats on making it to the end! lots of people did not make it that far lol

Thanks for the feedback! Definitely incorporating these suggestions in a future update :)

Congrats on beating our game! (not many get that far lol) But our take on the visual theme was less focused on what was given, that being the TV itself. We decided to take an approach that appealed more to the isolating and lonely vibe the image gave. This is why the game was made to be about light and darkness. We also wanted to use the static element as a design and story choice (to hint the message that our protagonist did not belong where they were)

Thanks for the kind comments!

Thanks for playing! There are a total of 11 levels in the game so you were pretty close to the end

And the comment about the mouse is definitely fair, it seems we're planning to move forward with this project so a key rebinding system is planned! :)

As the one who was responsible for all the pixel art, I am happy to hear that! I think the static effect on the blocks turned out a lot better than I initially expected as well

Thanks for playing! Hope you appreciated the rather abstract take on the theme c:

Glad you enjoyed the game! And fyi, the sound effects were made with a software that can be found right here on itch, it's called chiptone, it may be in your interest to check it out lol

Thanks for playing our game! Key rebinding is definitely a must add feature in the future ;)

Thanks our level designer will be happy to hear that!

Thanks for playing our game! This is high praise as an enjoyer of your game as well lol

Thanks for the feedback! Our interpretation of the theme was (obviously) not focused on the TV itself, but more focused on the vibe of isolation that the provided screenshot provoked. We tried to capture that feeling of darkness and isolation in the story and atmosphere along with the static as a detail through "staticy" blocks that ment to represent our character being an anomaly to this world

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed our game! :)
Our interpretation of the visual theme focused heavily on the dark and isolating feel that the image provided provoked. We didn't include the TV directly, but we did try to incorporate the sense of isolation and the static through "staticy" blocks to represent this spirit world our character enters as a place that they did not belong to

A cute, sweet and short micromangement game! I really enjoyed the micromanagement mechanics!

Although the only thing I would like to mention as feedback was that when just starting off in the game, it is a little hard to tell which ingredient is which

Great work all around though!

Intro sequence was very clean, great work on the whole dialogue systems and the little facial animations!

Seemed very nicely polished, great work!

Amazing job with the atmosphere! The title screen along with the overall setting hooked me right in!

I really like the subtle storytelling, it was fun to interpret the meaning of the entire game. Personally, it think seems to play on the idea of addiction? Overall really well done

I really enjoyed the vibe this game had, nice work!

Glad you enjoyed it! It's nice seeing you mention Baba is You because it was definitely an inspiration during development. The feedback is very much appreciated as well, definitely good improvements to make

Rather unique take on the theme. Nice work!

Interesting game mechanics! However it seems like there are some issues with the platforming? I'm not sure if it is intended but it seems you cant double jump off of the brown platforms.

Nice work! some cool ideas going on in this obby. However the movement feels a little janky, as mentioned previously things like coyote time would really help with this.

Very interesting game and impressive art for a game jam! Kind of reminds me of Lobotomy Corporation

As an avid tetris fan , it saddens me that the pieces cannot be rotated, although nice concept and fairly straightforward game nice work!

I really like the silly nature of the game, and nice style and flair too! The way the objects ramp up so quickly is kind of funny lol. It seems like the objects after the house are a little too easy to balance however, I managed finish the game rather quickly with the moustle!

Very interesting gameplay! I found myself enjoing this block balancing more than I thought I would, and although it is a fairly simple game, it is nicely well polished and satisfying! (especially those sound effects)

Fun game to play, nice style and concept! However I wish there was a health bar for your character

Very cute game, I like the style a lot! Seems well polished and overall fairly complete for a jam game!

Very chill game and I do like me some low-poly style, however I felt like even when your plane is not properly balanced it didnt really affect much. I do like the concept a lot though.

burger

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I'm glad the backstory seems to really flesh out the game!

Thanks! :)

Nice work! I like the overall design of the world and especially the food concept. I think it would've been funny if you had to balance the food on the tray and cross the road while the cars try to hit you.

Cute game, like the relaxing aspect of it! It's very impressive of you to create this without the use of any engines!

Interesting use of the theme, and the WarioWare-esque minigames were rather fun!
