My game was crashing before I could get past the lights part, but it’s probably just an issue on my end. Really well done from what I played though, God bless :)

Nice presentation and gameplay. Very atmospheric, even (or because?) without background music, wow!

You should keep developing further on this game project gem! Very well done!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words it really means a lot to me!

Wow! This is a very solid game! I thought you had a cool interpretation of the theme with the balance of light and dark, but then the second puzzle didn't really continue on with the theme. Overall, I think the first section was stronger, and the lighting effects were really nice. I did not understand the ending, and I am not sure if I won or failed the last puzzle. I was surprised tho! The lack of music made it kind of scary, which I am not sure was your intent. Congrats on your first game jam! You did really great!

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!

The way I meant for the second and third room to go with the theme is the second room was supposed to be balancing the water level and the third room was meant to be keeping the monsters emotional state in balance by giving him the right flower, but I ended up running out of time so I didn't get to finish the music and had to compromise on the levels a bit. I really appreciate the feedback!

This is a solid entry. You nailed the vibe you were going for.  First ever game?? Very good start! :)

Using Opera, I experienced some major slow down, especially when the lighting effects appeared on the screen.

great game and the pixelart nicely fits the vibe
one bug I noticed: you can move faster if you move diagonally

Very nice work, especially considering this is your FIRST game! Damn, very good! With a bit of music and a bit smaller areas this is even better. But already feels polished and well made. Good work, although I don't quite get the connection to the theme... :D

One of my favorites so far, I just love a good mysterious dungeon crawl.

If you keep building on this, gamepad support and background music are the things most obviously missing.

Props for designing all the assets yourself. It means a lot, for a game to speak in its developer’s true voice. I’m looking forward to your next one!

I also really think the music was missing but i ran out of time so i couldnt get it finished sadly, but i am really proud of it as a first project!

Really cool concept, I was lost in the dark for quite awhile!

Great minimalistic entry! I think that with a few changes here and there, this could transform into a nice short horror-genre title!
