"Cool idea! The signs were funny. But the lag was rough, and that first pole was way too long. Some rope action and footsteps sounds would help. Still fun overall!"
(If you get a chance, would love for you to check out my games too and leave a rating. Appreciate it, and good luck!)
Thank you for playing my game and for the critique!
Yeah, the lag was due to a bad implementation of a game mechanic that I happened to find an alternative/better way of approaching after submissions ended. Once voting's done I'll go back to fix it, as well as add sounds. :-)
Love the humor on the signs. You're right, ramen is great indeed. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past checkpoint 3 after quite a few tries.
Thanks for playing!
I think I underestimated the difficulty in a few areas, but I'd say you made it about halfway through the game. :-)
The idea is nice but the game is very laggy and makes the experience less enjoyable.
Thanks for the critique and thank you for playing!
It was hard to know if I was mooving on the rope because everything looked the same. Would be great if you could add some more acion on the ropes. But hey this is a complete game right there congratz

I agree. I wanted to put in some sounds for footsteps as well as a bit more of a fleshed out level to help indicate movement but ran out of time.
I liked the idea of the game. I found it to be really laggy though and the first section was so long I began to lose interest. I like that the signs point in you the right direction and the humour was quite good too. Well done
Thanks for playing and thank you for the critique!
After voting is done I'll post an updated version that should run better in browser.
I like the idea and the vibe but sadly the performance killed the experience for me, but game jams are like that sometimes.
Thanks for playing my game!
Yeah. I found out after the fact there was a better way to incorporate that mechanic that wouldn't eat up a lot of computer power/memory, so after the jam I'm gonna post an updated version with a fix that should make it work better, as well as some sounds.
I like the visuals, but the game is soooooooooooo laggy, also, you gotta wait a few secs when you fall to get back up. Game also crashed my browser.
I appreciate the fact that you like the visuals and I'm sorry to hear it crashed your browser.
Yeah, the I think I made the respawn timer a bit too long.
Regarding the lag, that's the fault of a game mechanic that I didn't have time to properly tweak (the procedurally deforming ropes).
At any rate, thank you for playing my game!
lol, that first pole is waaaaaay too long. I tried to get across 3 times and gave up. I like the humor on the signs and in the options menu.
Thank you for playing! Maybe I overestimated the difficulty in some circumstances, my bad lol. Nevertheless, I'm glad you enjoy the tongue-in-cheek humor in it.
