excellent sound design, I  was constantly going back to check the door every time I heard a shuffling or jingling, very spooky.

Very underrated entry! I was worried at first when it was just super basic blue and white characters and chairs but the real art is very good and adds great atmosphere. The music and sound effects when people die are well implemented. Gameplay is pretty clunky but thats expected in a jam. Good job!

Great art, decent sound. The music cut off abruptly soon after the start, I think it was when the first light turned off. movement and navigation is pretty basic, but I liked how the lights shutting off added mini jump scares and the light flicking noise added a lot of tension. Good job.

When you upload to itch I would add the option to allow the full screen button, it was a little weird playing in the small window and my cursor didn't want to move the camera correctly. Not much there in terms of gameplay, but you successfully made a 3d world that can be walked around in and an end state so congrats!

Seems unfinished, after moving to the right and encountering what I guess was an entity, nothing happened after?

Very simple but it runs, has a menu, and has functioning systems,  so congrats on finishing a game!

Too buggy to really rate, but you've made a 3d world with decent looking models so it could be a start to something good!

Thanks!

thanks for playing! I agree on the sound cue, i feel like it got repetitive as well

thanks a lot! I processed the images using a custom dithering program I wrote https://github.com/johnconwell/dither you can research “temporal dithering” to learn more

Thanks for the feedback, I'll see about adding the ability to fast forward the text

very unsettling and great sound design, always good to see a game by you. Your game monadi.sys inspired my entry to this game jam

Here's ICONOEXORCIST  if you want to take a look. https://snekky-studios.itch.io/iconoexorcist

Its a very short hidden-object-like game. There's not much in terms of gameplay, so I tried. to focus on atmosphere.

I'm using this jam to try out a new CLI dithering/image processing tool I've developed over the past few months. I am not an artist, so the idea is to take generic photographs and drawings and give them a horror aesthetic, Here are some results so far:

There is some very good stuff here, I just feel like it isn't suited to the low resolution. Even aside from some lighting issues it is very hard to see things, and just identifying doors/landmarks is difficult with everything so blurry. Very good soundtrack though, and great ambience.

well done, hilarious sound effects. reminds me of those maze toys where you have to tilt them to get a ball through.

incredible. The static effect is perfect for this resolution. The sound design, and the fade in/fade out of the river, forest sounds, etc. add a huge amount of  tension. It is pretty easy to get lost and go in circles, which starts out kind of adding to the mood of the game but gets a little tedious after a while

Pretty decent! musix and sfx were well implemented. It would be nice to have a weapon from the start, I died a couple of times looking for a sword and getting cornered in a dead end hallway by a fish.

Thanks for playing! I'm not sure what you mean. You should be able to summon the man at any time by right-clicking. I did run into a few bugs where he took a second or two to get started after clicking.

Edit: I think I know what you mean. You can left-click again to turn the sand off and summon the man before the sand runs out.

Thanks for playing! A failure is triggered when the game determines you have no valid square to go to, and the character can't jump gaps or overcome obstacles more than a single pixel high, so my guess is you ran into one of those scenarios. Or maybe you stumbled onto a bug that I did not encounter!

all the levels are possible! Thanks for playing

I was not able to progress really at all, I could not enter the forest. Unless I wasn't supposed to until I found the guy's key?

Very clean looking and I love the gradient on the menu curve thing. I started dying over and over again on the third or fourth level, couldnt figure out what I was supposed to do to get past. The death audio is very grating and made me have to stop.

I appreciate the programmer graphics. the beginning bomb audio needs a warning lol. Gameplay is a bit repetetive, it would be nice to have a button to water all plants or something to reduce clicking

Very nice graphics. Gameplay seems very much copied from phasmaphobia, which isn't a bad thing, but the balance theme seems like it was kind of forced in to an existing game.

Not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I picked up a package and then could not interact with anything. I could not find the purple NPC, so I am assuming that it would not let me do other tasks until I finished delivering mail. It would be nice to be able to cancel a task so you are not stuck on it.

Very nice graphics and audio. I think there is potential for good gameplay, but it is a bit too complicated for a game-jam scoped project I think. It's hard to understand all your options or how they affect the outcome. Theme seems a bit forced. Overall good though.

I see the inspiration from buckshot roulette. I am a big fan of card based games so it was impressive to see you pull off a functioning black jack game. I like the audio a lot. Great job.

great game.  love survivors. I like the switching animation a lot.

ver well executed. Great graphics and gameplay. There are an awful lot of mechanics and text descriptions for a jam, but better too much content (that is done well) than not enough.

lol, that first pole is waaaaaay too long. I tried to get across 3 times and gave up. I like the humor on the signs and in the options menu.

very simple game but decently executed. could use a bit more in the way of mechanics. It is not clear how the scoring works.

I have no idea what the goal of the game is or how to play. Some kind of tutorial is necessary, or at least a text explanation in the game's description. I do like the music.
