The game is pretty decent! Overall the dialogues are pretty uplifting and the gameplay is smooth. The audio was a bit loud for me and could've been a bit better suited, maybe, like slow, mellow beats? Overall a good 3P game!

Wow! This was fun!!

Thank you for doing that!! Across all the game-jams we have been part of, this is the fastest update I have seen :D

Overall a simple game though not an uplifting experience, it was fun to play. The use of 3D assets is cool for a basically 2D game. I could not figure out the companion system and kept dying. Also, is there a health system? Would've been great to have it.

I did not understand how this is related with the theme.

What I was able to play is very well done! I think the instructions on the Itch page could be a bit descriptive on how to play the game. The gameplay is smooth and the idea of a deck builder is uplifting. The animations are well executed too! I wish to see a completed version, maybe post jam. Would be a hit on Steam!!

Overall an uplifting game with wolf teaching kids how to scare! I was not fast enough for this one and maybe I should be polishing my typing skills! Lol! An excellent game nonetheless! You have a wishlist on Steam if you launch it there :D

Thanks for giving the game a shot. The walls are "sticky" to make the game a bit forgiving. I am surprised you can collect candies twice!! Thanks for informing us about the bug!

Indeed! The game was uplifting for sure!!

Overall snapping photos and zooming in is a nice touch. The gameplay is smooth and the old-school look is captured well. The music is going well as well. I wish the controls were listed on the game page.

Wow! This game has excellent graphics! The girl's expressions are very good at giving feedback and the art is spot on! I wish a different font for numbers was used since this one is slightly hard to read. I also liked the Check and Save mechanics. You have put in a lots of efforts in this. Overall a nice game!

I was not expecting a first-person game for this jam! Looks good and I was able to collect some candies and give it to kids. I liked the "Yesss!" sound that kids say when you give them candies. Overall, the controls are a bit difficult to use but nonetheless a good game.

Hi aksommerville, you are right, we needed to click the game window in the browser two times to get the audio started. I can hear the audio. It's pretty nice and fitting to the game. I am on Firefox 145.0 (64-bit) on Win 11.

Thank you for playing and streaming the game. You gave it an honest attempt and we deeply admire it!

Sorry that you had trouble jumping in different levels, especially the second one. We will learn from this and make simpler dynamics next time.

Also, we have already fixed it and will upload a post-jam build.

(1 edit)

Thank you so much for playing and so sorry for the trouble you went through. We mistakenly kept target as 9 doors instead of 6.
Also, we have already fixed it and will upload a post-jam build.

Thanks for playing the game and sorry for the difficult design of 2nd level.

The pet interaction is triggered by pressing "E" key and it's to make this chaos more bearable.

Thanks for playing!! We wanted to keep the game-play fresh so we threw in a lot of variety!

Hey, thanks for playing and glad that the you liked the pet mechanic, that what we intended to make it uplifting! :D

Glad you liked it!! :D

The song goes really well with the game! Thank you for sharing it!!

Wow! Two overlapping jams? We should team up 😅

The game is pretty polished, the animations are cool and well fitting, the mechanics are innovative. It gets a little frantic after a bit but thats alright. Enjoyed playing this one. I wish there were some SFX to tell if a kid reached a wrong house or when the kid was happy. Otherwise a pretty nice game.

This game is pretty awesome! I enjoyed shooting through levels, not sure if they are proc generated or fixed, but they are fun nonetheless. The controls were a bit difficult but once you get a hang of it, it was alright. The game actually has a boss room and a progression system too which is deep for such a simple looking game! The music might've put a charm in this one.

This game is pretty good. I liked the smooth platform movement. There were lots of details in the graphics which I really enjoyed e.g. "Zebra Removal" or "Used forks". I liked the pixel art and overall concept. I didn't get it why music or SFX are not playing for me. Do I need to adjust any settings??

I jumped onto this one since I enjoyed aksommerville's game in GameDevJS jam :)

Woah! I am feeling so uplifted helping those cute ghosts!!

Hats off to you for putting such a smooth point-and-click! And making all this from scratch!

Loved the game! Can you include a walkthrough in description for folks like me who got stuck with a door asking for password? :)

I loved the innovation and the graphics of the game! Also the thought put into testing the game before the game starts is pretty nifty! Music and SFX are spot on! Pretty uplifting as well!

My only feedback is it would've been nice to show some sort of indicator that the broom touched the ring such as ring turning red.

Pretty fun game!

This is pretty simple yet strategic game! Also nice use of the limitation. The pixel art and colours are good!

I wish there was a tutorial.I forgot the rules after reading them.

This is an excellent use of the limitation, and the colours are graphics are amazing!!

Very satisfying game! Level progression and dialogues are nice too!

Good variation of Pacman! I wish there was something more to this, like lives or some powerups after you collect the cheese. Overall a fun loop.

Pretty fun game with nice pixel art and isometric view. Also nice use of the limitation. A tutorial might've been useful! Good game!

Glad to hear you enjoyed playing the game!

Yes, you are right. There is no lose condition! You are not dumb!

Thanks for playing the game. We intentionally added the feature of adding / removing hearts while snakes are moving to make the game feel faster.

Excellent polished game! Kudos for pulling this one on such a short time frame!

Not sure about turn based but if this goes to Steam, you already have my money!!

Loved it!

I loved your other game from GameDev TV jam "TV boy" (?) hence I clicked this one and I was so happy I did!

Excellent take on the concept where you control different "heads" of the snake!

I wished that it was more clear (than just blinking) what part of snake is the player controlling, maybe by making it grey? Loved the design and music too!

This game is really fun! I love puzzle games like this!!

The directions are not too clear e.g. I expected the left arrow to make the snake go left from next position but it turns in it's place first. Excellent presentation and visuals. I can see myself playing this a lot on my phone!!

Thanks for trying out our game. It was meant more of a puzzle game. Sorry that it didn't go as expected.

I think you have nailed the visual theme! And the game is simply an "art"! Also the concept is very unique. loved it.

Excellent atmosphere! Also requires a bit of thinking before you make your move!

I just wish there was a better way to control the camera.
