This game is pretty abstract and satisfying once you figure out what to do!

The instructions themselves take a bit of reading but once you do, it works pretty well.

I loved the path finding algorithm you built. It would easily make an excellent zombie survival type of game where zombies chase you and find their path though you have placed obstacles!

Other than that, it's pretty solid entry!

As a GDevelop user myself, kudos to you for pulling this one off! Overall the visuals and the sounds are excellent. Also with small shakes and animations, everything feels "alive". The game itself could've used a bit more variety of defenses. It's pretty straightforward to fortify just one room and select it to be attacked. I wish there was more incentive to fortify other room or to build defenses. The music is also pretty engaging.

This one is a simple memory game with some animation and economy put together. While the game could've been better fitted to the scope of this jam, it's not really off. I just wish that there was more to this game than a simple loop. It did get repetitive pretty fast for me.

This is fantastic description!
Maybe it can be copy-pasted onto the itch page for this game?

The last time I played your game, it was about stacking things up to make a really tall tower! This one takes a very unique and narrative turn! There are a lots of fun animations as well as a polish to this! For example, the computer screen is more of a 2D playing inside a 3D game. Also the entire game is set in one room which fits the theme accurately. There are a few camera issues, maybe the First Person CineMachine issues in Unity? but that does not prevent from uncovering the books and the story. Overall the mood, visuals, lighting and the music is spot on for the vibe of this game.

This is a very original and artistic game! The controls are very basic and the game simply does not guide you and it's very satisfying to figure everything out.

I wish the game would have provided some hints for players like me who kind of lose what worked last time and feel helpless about what to do next.

The sound and art designs were spot on! Also the rotating room was clever take on the theme!

I also wish that there was a solution video or a text available on the Itch page.

This is pretty fun and cozy game where you do a bit of decoration and think how you can add utility value.

The cool stuff was you can choose difficulty, the UI is pretty nice and the tutorial is very helpful! The art and music and voice acting was excellent!

My only gripe is that I wish there was a quick remove button instead of a "Remove all" but it's a small feature.

Well, Pikiboiii we meet again!

This game is really satisfying, visually packed, the effects and colour palette and audio is also pretty spot on! I liked that it's essentially a grid-based dodging game on steroids! I could see myself playing this a lot!

And the leaderboard in a game jam game is amazing!

I have only one feedback: I am mostly looking at the room to see where the next attack is coming from, and dont necessarily look at the health bar. Maybe placing health bar over the knight would've been a smoother experience!

Overall the graphics, animation and the lighting is excellent! Also the hand drawn bit e.g. [E] is pretty neat. The sound design is also great! I liked the music that the radio plays.

I wish either there was a variety in zombies, or the ammo was cheap. The game could be a lot faster to give a feeling that your house is under attack making the game a bit frantic such as increasing the reload speed.

While the concept is excellent, the game tends to get a bit repetitive after a while. I think it could benefit greatly from relooking at the game economy.

Thank you so much for the very detailed feedback! These insights would certainly help us going a long way!

For the soccer puzzle, we wanted to add variety to the gameplay hence we introduced simple physics based puzzle.

Maybe for the last two levels, we could've written better clues which provide more clarity to solving the level. For the ANGUISH level we thought SUN ("... brings light" from the clue) was an easy answer. Also for the last puzzle counting the painted tiles from each corner felt intuitive to us as the clue says "... journey begins at corners." ("begins" = start counting)

Thanks again for appreciating the visuals!

Thank you for playing the game and appreciating the visuals!

Thank you for playing the game.

Out of curiosity, what answer were you expecting in the last room?

Sorry that you encountered those bugs. We will look into those after the jam.

Thanks for your feedback. And for sharing the screenshot with us.

We were trying to emulate the bomb timer from CS:GO and the tension of a bomb ticking off.

Game music wound not have gone well with it. It might've drowned off the beeps that caused the tension in the game.

We will fix the other bugs after the jam is over.

Pretty innovative concept for the game. The voice acting was hilarious! "Monnnnnneeeeeyyyy!" Lol! The music and graphics were pretty solid.

As the room got smaller, it became more difficult to dodge the IRS! The only thought I have is that the controls could've been a bit simpler.

An excellent entry!

Overall the concept is excellent and the graphics are unique. The music felt a bit irrelevant but again creative. Also the enemies were pretty diverse! Great for a minimalist game.

This game might've benefitted a lot from tutorial or a gameplay video. I had no idea what I needed to do or what was going on. I simply was "surviving" for the sake of it!

Pretty cool 1-hour build! That too in Scratch! Hats off to you! Also the music is nice soft ping sound which fits the visuals. Having said it, I did feel it a bit lacking in terms of gameplay. Maybe the controls do some more weird stuff as you progress to higher levels? Maybe you get a music upgrade?

What a delightful little game! It has fun narrative and graphics is awesome! Like mentioned below, the UI itself could be made better but it feels happy.  It fits well in the theme too. I wish there was some variety in plushies. I was able to upgrade just two plushies and complete the game! Not a complaint again but I yearn for more variety :D

Oh sorry to hear that! We've included a walkthrough solution as well as hints on the page to help if you get stuck :)

That would help us greatly if you can have a look!

Thanks for giving the game a shot!

Since the time is rather limited to diffuse the bomb, we purposely made the detective move a bit fast so that the time wont be wasted in moving around. Sorry that you felt it too fast.

Also in the green shapes puzzle room, the clue indicates the shapes, which are drawn on the wall, rather than furniture. In this room, as written in the clue on the sticky note on the floor, the count of each shape painted on the wall is important and leads to combination. If you get time, please have one more look :)

Thank you for playing the game!

Sorry to hear that the sound annoyed you. Since there is a bomb ticking in the room, we thought this sound would create a sort of tension. Lol!

Hey, Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Glad to know that you felt the puzzles were "just right".

Thank you for reporting the bug. In the football game, it might've happened that the football just touched the bomb when explosion occurred so the game took you to next level. We will investigate more and see what's the root cause.

Sorry to hear that you encountered loading issue. Can you tell me more what issue you faced? Like did it get stuck on the load screen? Did the web build simply not load? There is also a downloadable version for Windows.

The game is pretty decent! Overall the dialogues are pretty uplifting and the gameplay is smooth. The audio was a bit loud for me and could've been a bit better suited, maybe, like slow, mellow beats? Overall a good 3P game!

Wow! This was fun!!

Thank you for doing that!! Across all the game-jams we have been part of, this is the fastest update I have seen :D

Overall a simple game though not an uplifting experience, it was fun to play. The use of 3D assets is cool for a basically 2D game. I could not figure out the companion system and kept dying. Also, is there a health system? Would've been great to have it.

I did not understand how this is related with the theme.

What I was able to play is very well done! I think the instructions on the Itch page could be a bit descriptive on how to play the game. The gameplay is smooth and the idea of a deck builder is uplifting. The animations are well executed too! I wish to see a completed version, maybe post jam. Would be a hit on Steam!!

Overall an uplifting game with wolf teaching kids how to scare! I was not fast enough for this one and maybe I should be polishing my typing skills! Lol! An excellent game nonetheless! You have a wishlist on Steam if you launch it there :D

Thanks for giving the game a shot. The walls are "sticky" to make the game a bit forgiving. I am surprised you can collect candies twice!! Thanks for informing us about the bug!

Indeed! The game was uplifting for sure!!

Overall snapping photos and zooming in is a nice touch. The gameplay is smooth and the old-school look is captured well. The music is going well as well. I wish the controls were listed on the game page.

Wow! This game has excellent graphics! The girl's expressions are very good at giving feedback and the art is spot on! I wish a different font for numbers was used since this one is slightly hard to read. I also liked the Check and Save mechanics. You have put in a lots of efforts in this. Overall a nice game!

I was not expecting a first-person game for this jam! Looks good and I was able to collect some candies and give it to kids. I liked the "Yesss!" sound that kids say when you give them candies. Overall, the controls are a bit difficult to use but nonetheless a good game.

Hi aksommerville, you are right, we needed to click the game window in the browser two times to get the audio started. I can hear the audio. It's pretty nice and fitting to the game. I am on Firefox 145.0 (64-bit) on Win 11.

Thank you for playing and streaming the game. You gave it an honest attempt and we deeply admire it!

Sorry that you had trouble jumping in different levels, especially the second one. We will learn from this and make simpler dynamics next time.

Also, we have already fixed it and will upload a post-jam build.

Thank you so much for playing and so sorry for the trouble you went through. We mistakenly kept target as 9 doors instead of 6.
Also, we have already fixed it and will upload a post-jam build.

Thanks for playing the game and sorry for the difficult design of 2nd level.

The pet interaction is triggered by pressing "E" key and it's to make this chaos more bearable.

Thanks for playing!! We wanted to keep the game-play fresh so we threw in a lot of variety!
