Thanks for playing and feedback. I've improved the powerup behavior in the newly uploaded version.

Thanks!

So many banging tracks! Thanks!!

Used it for a recent game jam

Hey! Thanks for playing. Really appreciate the feedback - there are some great points there. I'll try and implement some of them in the next couple of days and hopefully upload to Newgrounds, too.

Weirdly compelling in the best possible way. Great game!

Love the whole vibes - the graphics and music and gameplay work really well together.

Also, a great wee game! Great job!

Took me a while to get a hang of the controls but once I did it was a fun little game. Love that smooooth jazz.

Aha, got it! No worries - it's a cool game!

I enjoyed this! Didn't realize I was a miserable saver, though 😔😂

Also, hadn't heard of Ren'py before - looks really cool.

Those visuals are awesome. Slick, well put together fun! Brilliant job!
Just a small FYI, in Firefox the kitty was just a black square. Worked fine in other browsers.

Had a good laugh playing this. Great effort!

I love the game mechanic, really original!

Was fun but pretty tough to play. Throw in some sfx and explosions and this would seriously kick butt!

Great atmosphere and the hand is a really nice touch.

Couldn't work out how to load the gun during russian roulette - tried clicking on the bullets, chambers etc...
Anyway, really enjoyed playing,

Fun times, I never got tired of winning. Really well done!

Ah cool, hadn't noticed that - will give it a watch, thanks.

Great graphics and potential. Would've loved some SFX and some juice! A promising start, though!

Really cool asthetic. I did find myself getting a little disorientated in the maze but overall fun times!

Fun and great use of theme! Would love to hear more about your vibe coding experience.

Brilliant idea, excellent implementation. Well done!

Really cool idea, surprisingly tricky!

Hey! Thanks for playing. I had some ideas about pollination / nature balance but ran out of time.

cool video! thanks for playing!

First of all I thought it was just a matching game but the whole garden building part is brilliant. Really interesting idea - well done!

If you're wondering why some people are reporting they can't play the game it's because they are using Firefox which doesn't support import assertions. Specifically, this:

import data from "./map_export.json" with { type: 'json'};

Anyways, nice game!

Ah, sorry about that! I have posted an updated version to Newgrounds where this bug is fixed. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it before submitting for the jam.

Really cool idea and great execution.

Very cute! Quickly gets frantic! I really enjoyed playing this.

Would've loved a tutorial as it took me a while to work out what had to be done. I really enjoyed playing and loved the graphics and sfx. Great job!

Tricky but super fun and pretty unique. Nice game!

Cool vibes!

Also got stuck on the wolf. A promising idea, though!

Fun! Some sfx would definitely add some 'juice'. Pouncing was a bit tricky.

Ouch! The poor little pandas ;)

Really cute and beautifully implemented. It is damn hard, tho!

Music and graphics combine to create a very nice ambience. Fun game, although the jumping felt a little bit tricky on smaller platforms.

Are the levels procedurally generated?

Thanks, Frank! Really appreciate the feedback. Definitely plan to tweak gameplay, address those bugs and add more levels. It was a lot of fun to make and I thoroughly enjoyed working with LittleJS; simple to pick up and very well thought out.

Awesome, thanks! Nice feedback. I can speed up the tutorial text. For the mouse controls - do you imagine some kind of on screen joypad for directions or the player just follows the cursor? Actually could be very nice - never thought about that!

Heya! Thanks for the feedback, it's great to hear. Definitely gotta make the animal following a bit smoother.

I do plan to add more levels. Spent too much time messing around with particles and stuff I ran out of time for the more important stuff :/

Hi! Yes, I totally see how that makes sense. I'm going to add it in the next update. Thanks for that and for playing!
