I appreciate the work that seems to have been put into the game, but the mechanics need some tweaking.  The platforming feels too slippery and the wall jump unnatural.  But the biggest problem is definitely the speed in which the screen goes up which leaves very little room for error.

However the audio was really good, definitely set the tone well.

A nice game with the difficulty that's a little too high. Actually, I think the difficulty would be alright with a better control scheme. The J key for jumping feels very weird, compared to the standard up or space key. The visuals were nice, the audio was really well suited to the game as well as the sound effects and music both complimented the game.

The wall jump didn't feel very nice and a bit awkward to control. The way we got around this was allowing an early wall jump when you're not quite against the wall, which would match your aerial mobility well. Otherwise, allowing buffered inputs for characters with less aerial mobility would also work.

Overall a fun little game. Would have been nice to have been able to see if there was any content further that I missed out on.

Game looks good but as written on other comments is a bit too hard, is not easy to get the grip of the basic mechanics with the rush of the moving screen and that makes it a bit frustrating for me. Really good work though.

If you want you can check our entry for the jam:

All feedback possible is really appreciated

Quite hard game, but I don't think that's something bad :) Nice work!

Check our submission if you have time :)

I believe the screen moves a bit fast at start, while you are still learning about the controls.

The controls where great, no problems with wall jumping! Love the added combat mechanic to it!

Apart from the difficulty problem already addressed, the game is really amazing.

Nice looking game, and fun idea!

I was immediately drawn to this because it has some similarities to my own game I made for this jam. I think that the controls work OK and I can see what I'm supposed to be doing and how to do it. But the way the platforms are arranged and how fast the character moves make the beginning extremely frustrating. Even then, I think I'd eventually get the hang of it if the auto-scrolling didn't kill me after my first mistake. Think this could be really fun with some tweaks!

I didn't intend for it to be this hard but I think I got too good at it in development.  Thanks for playing

Totally! That's happened to me, too. Playtesting and iteration are always so important to give perspective.

It was quite hard, but the graphics and music were enjoyable :-)

Great visuals and the platforming feels REALLY good, but the auto scrolling is just too fast for me to keep up with... I'm afraid I struggled to get past the opening sections.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, it is a little too difficult.

I think you've got a good setup going and with some tweaks it could be a great experience though!

Feel free to check our game out too if you have the time. :)
