The production quality on this for a jam game is really good, music textures, intro cutscene, even the menus look pretty good like some thought went into them. I really appreciate it when a jam game has music that really matches the aesthetics and theme of the game as well and I think you nailed it on that point. The game was also quite fun to play, movement was fast and snappy.

I've died a bunch of times and haven't managed to save up enough money for the other coordinates.

That first dungeon is pretty easy to get through the first time if you load up on bandages, but after I really didn't find enough scrap to recoup my loses it felt pretty inevitable that I'd die. I think the escape ring would have helped there but it was pretty expensive.

In general my only real issue with this game is that it would have been nice to have some descriptions in the shop (What each item does, how do they differ from each other) how much more health do I get for a med pack/mobile pharmacy, what are the crystals, how much damage the weapons do etc and I wasn't sure how to use the robot, maybe I missed something.

All in all a very strong entry.

From the first moment, the game grabbed you. The cutscene, the music! The game was hard in a good way. Great job!

Now thats was awesome.

i got wrecked by some zombie dogs.

which is one of the best ways of getting wrecked.

especially in the wasteland.

i would so drive that truck. down that wasteland road.

that's the life for me.

riding around

with my robot

killing zombie dogs.

just about perfect.

I liked the atmosphere. the palette used was very bland with no other colors used which made everything feel very flat.

I have to say I really HATED the controls

But an interesting submission

Really nice setting and it even has an intro! I wish there was a bit more variety in the textures in a single dungeon and it was quite hard. And while the huge list of stuff to buy is cool, it seems to be a bit much for the scope of a jam...but well you did it anyway, so cool I guess ;)

I liked this game. Good job!!!

Very fun. Very hard! Had a few successful runs that usually get terminated by an unfortunate one where I get big enemy spawns/very little helpful things. I will give it a thorough playthrough after the jam when I can dedicate a few solid hours to it.

I found that having the robot from the start is a bit disconcerting since it doesn't well...do anything until you can afford the expensive upgrades that you can install on it (unless I am missing something)

Very cool entry, but it's a bit difficult. Do you have any tips?

This is a strong entry.

I crashed when entering the second dungeon for the second time and then got my save corrupted, not sure I'll restart later but the game is definitely fun.

I found the regeneration utility item which was very satisfying, I like the central money management, the game looks and sounds good and I like the very fast gameplay where you'll take the time to play strategically only when you need to while simply bumping into enemies during easier parts (like in traditional roguelikes, typically). Especially since it's a gameplay loop where you'll get to roam a lot it's important that the exploration is pleasant and fast.

I am unable to rate it at this time because I can't actually get to a dungeon. I walk up to the driver seats and interact with them and all that happens is that a list of ITEM 1's is generated. Interacting with any of the items doesn't do anything.

First impression is that I like the setting. I like the backstory on the game page. The concept of having a vehicle as a home base (tradionally called a town screen) is great!

That's just the save game issue rearing it's ugly head again. Try pressing "new game" and you should be able to just enter the first dungeon.

great music, very fluid movement, cool landmaster.

Great game. Now I just need to figure out how to not die.

Buy lots of bandages and make sure you run if you hear boss music. XD
