I agree the game was easier on hard mode - the problem is that it is the lag of the actual jump after the user hits the key, since the animation is sped-up in hard-mode this is lessened slightly.  The speed of the obstacles isn't actually any easier when it takes your character much longer to actually get moving!  Its kind-of like drunk driving with very slow reaction-time.  I hope this helps...

Amazing! Loved the visuals, really impressive! I just felt a bit tired after some time, wish there was more to do (in the sense of making the game more challenging with time), but really impressive game!!

If you want, check my entry too =)!

Really nice graphics, pretty awesome game. I included it in part 20 of my Cyberpunk Jam compilation video series, if you have time to take a look :) http://youtu.be/8cg-WyUUan4

Cool game with amazing visuals. Good job!

Would you mind rating our game as well? :)

Stunning visuals and I really like the music. Simple concept but perfect execution. It also fits the theme perfectly!

Have a go at my entry: A Logical Dive

Really nice visuals and sound, some more obstacles would be interesting. Nice job overall!

Sick music. Sick visuals. Simple but polished concept. Great job.

I really think you guys should upload a new version with hard as default. I came to rate the game, then saw people suggesting hard, so I played again and now I feel like I'll rate it higher because it feels more responsive.

Seconding what Loon Of Nature said about it being more enjoyable on hard. The switching mechanic just felt a lot more responsive for some reason. Really nice style though and pretty fun to play. Nice work!

Gorgeous aesthetics, and great game play make for a pretty cool title. This is one of my favorites so far, and it feels very polished. I agree the movement/response on the jumps could be snappier though.

I tried it on hard and found it more enjoyable. I would suggesting having 3 difficulties, shifting normal to easy, hard to normal, and something (derp) harder than hard, defaulting to normal. On the current default the controls feel unresponsive, but upping the difficulty actually helped the feel alot.

One of the most polished games I've seen thus far in the jam; nice work! And hey, looks like we're both into games with blue-haired female protagonists. :3

Highest game I've rated so far. Everything's great but it would be nice if it had some snap to it.

Absolutely beautiful visual direction. Playing this with headphones made it crazy-immersive. One suggestion: I wish the controls and movement had felt a little more "fluid" - maybe it's the lack of sound effects for the player's movements, but I felt disconnected from the avatar as she jumped from side to side.

It doesn't feel much smooth, but nothing that makes the game less awesome. The aesthetics are amazing! Check out my game if you have some time http://pudimnicolas.itch.io/kickin-cyberbuts
