A game with a great concept and idea! I like the minimalist feel it has and the notes that play when u collide with the walls. Would be great if there were more levels!

I did every levels, it felt a bit too short. Your game has exactly the same concept of mine: cannot see, need to find the love one by doing some "noise" / "echo"! So I liked the reveal system :) I think you could add some "red" rectangles that could kill the player if touched for example! (Just an idea) Overall, good job!

Cool audio and reveal mechanic!
But its too short! More!

I like the idea but would love to play more levels of it. :D

Interesting concept, but levels far too easy unfortunately.

I first thought i will play the wedding jingle at the end... that was a bit disappointing :P
Overall great experience.

How did you archive the coloring, is it a shader or decals?

I love the idea, and the main mechanic was a really interesting take on the theme! The last level did involve me banging my head on walls a little bit just to see where I was, and not being able to see the goal at the start got me lost a bit. The first 4 levels were great because you saw the goal, but had to find your way around what was containing it. Overall great concept and great game!

I've played through all levels and I think while the first three Levels are way too easy, I really enjoyed the last two! Great but simple concept, maybe you could improve this to a full puzlle game?

Level five is harder than I image. You audio is close to the piano style which inspire me lots when I playing your game. And I don't know how to make the effect when I close to the wall and leave the half circle to the wall. Can you tell me how to do it? I feel that was difficult to make it. And I am curious is that the top down 3D game or 2D game. I guess this is made in 3D. Any way very great play experience and I love it. high rated and appreciate

Developer

Thanks a lot! I used sprite masks and set the sprite mask interaction of the wall sprites to "visible inside sprite mask" and changed the material of the sprites so they could be affected by light. The game is top down 2D.

Did all 5 levels.

In a Game Design stand-view, IMHO its good. Main objective is go to point A to B, to reconnect with a loved one. You show level mechanics level by level. I think the game would shine more if you added more level mechanics like the blue squares. Also the last level would be interesting if a little more short.

Fun is there no need to say more.

Innovation is kinda a difficult to say, so average?? It would be smashing, to see like ripple waves when touch a wall and with that we would have to navigate.

Theme is there. Lover is part of love, blindness is a mechanic.

Graphics are simple shape objects, which just could have used a little more texturing.

Audio is okay. I'm the last person to judge someone audio.

Hope you had fun during Jam Week :D

Was really basic, but interesting to play! The light up squares were a great choice rather than just sticking to the walls for vision.

After playing this game you will see how someone feels without vision. Very simple but nice puzzle game.

It's currently too simple. You need to add some more mechanics to add to the challenge.

Check out my game as well: https://nns2009.itch.io/love-full-house

Fun to play :)! Nice light mechanics and cool sound effects. Simple graphics but it matches with the lights going on.
