Loved the diverse amount of levels, easy controls, and fun to play! I could definitely see a younger me spending hours on every level trying to 100% everything.
Awesome rendition of sky roads. Motion is super smooth. Acceleration could be faster, and the cookies feel a little imposed (could have gone for a more cookie filled theme, maybe dip in the milky way... ) but it's a solid game. Loved the abundance of levels. Great job.
Very nice SkyRoads tribute, unlocked a part of my brain I forgot about it feels like. I forgot about this game completely until now. Everything felt really good to play and super responsive. Well done.
Very fun and addictive game. Ngl it gives me vibes of those games you find on tiktok while listening to reddit storier xD not a bad thing! Well done!
The game is pretty addictive. I feel kind of dumb for thinking you were supposed to balance on those hollow pipes, instead of going through them. No idea how to collect more than one cookie per level, even though I’ve completed half the levels at full speed
nice style , enjoyed game play
thanks
I haven't thought about SkyRoads in over a decade, but immediately recognized it when I started playing. Such a nostalgia trip. I wasn't good at it as a kid and I'm still not good at it now! :D I appreciate the callback to my childhood.
Plain old fun, really reminds me of games like Run/Run 2. Loved everything about it, especially small details like the car bouncing on landing.
The game is really fun to play, and the level design is done with great attention to detail. It's challenging and exciting, especially with the risks involving the biscuits! You've created many impressive levels. One suggestion I have is to enhance the visual design of the rocket or car—whatever it is—so it stands out more. I love the fusion of Geometry Dash and Subway Surfers. Adding some environmental elements like moving asteroids or UFOs would make it even more dynamic. Overall, amazing work!
Thanks a lot for your kind words.
The idea of having more world-building elements around the level, like asteroids floating/flying, is brilliant.
I think you made a great job in the controls of the game, the coolest aspect in this game is the level design, I think it was great! If I would suggest something, it would be more polish, cause the movement of the car looks flat, it would be cool if the car tilted when you steer left or right, same thing when the car jumps, other than that, congrats for your game
Congrats on getting all the cookies on the first three levels!
Thank you for your feedback. Good points on making the car less static.
Fun to play!! This reminds me of the game series Run that I used to play on Cool Math Games. Really enjoyed the speed up/slow down system! Awesome work!
This was amazing! it reminds me of that snail game I forgot the name of, also it gets really hard and technical! I tried skipping some levels and played the end and wth I have to time the jumps till the highest points in the fall animation twice in a row in different speeds? it may be simple but I think this is the only full enjoyment score I put on a game I rated here and I rated 120+ games lol
The sfx could have used some work, art too kind of but def less so than audio
Haha, "The End" is a special level that incorporates some of the most obscure mechanics the player hopefully has picked up from the previous levels, like the bounce jump and tunnel surfing. You indeed have to do two bounce jumps, and the second one does require some timing, but there is quite a bit of leeway.
I am very happy to hear you enjoyed it. Also, let me commend you for rating 120+ games - you are doing a great service to the community.
My background is backend programming, and this is my first try at a real game concept, so art and audio are definitely two of my weakest points. Working solo on the game meant I had to keep these things simple, and instead focus on making the gameplay fun. Maybe I should try teaming up with an artist in a future jam.
Thank you so much for playing the game and providing valuable feedback. :)
Really fun game. I love the idea of having to take riskier paths and control your speed more carefully to get cookies. Haven't play SkyRoads, the game you mentioned in the description, but this one really reminded me of a game called Snail Mail :)
Great entry, some cookies are really hard to get 😄 it's great that the restart happens quite fast.
I am beholden to thy kindness, sire.
😄
Great submission. Got hooked right away. Only thing I would add is some coyote time to the jumps, felt they where to easy to miss.
Thank you for playing. :)
There already is 80 ms of coyote time but perhaps it is not enough for certain setups. I also suspect the web version to feel a bit less responsive than the desktop version, so perhaps adding more coyote time to web could make sense.
ok, then it might just be me thats bad at jumping :)
Geometry dash but 3D and with a rocket and with a speed meter and also Subway Surfers.... wait this isn't gd
I ragequitted so hard to Meteorite Munchies. The other levels were fine, doable, and then this level came up and was so annoying I had to finish.
Note: Monkey is here to give a review, I am far too tilted to write one.
This game fun! I think speedy bar nice. Some levels annoying! Wait. All levels annoying. Cookie annoying. Speed up pad annoying. Red X that kill me thingy annoying. Speed down pad also annoying. Everything annoying, I still play? Why?
Very polished. Very simple shapes, still good graphics! Changing music cool! Flashing screen when fast also cool! Diffiffificulty spike also cool! Level not very hard, with cookie hard! So can be easyer without say it's easy! WOW!
Game play. Gameplay. Gameplay very good! I die it's not game fault it's my fault! Changing place add varity! Speed change thingy add varity! High skill roof! Monkey can grind for hours! Me love cookies! But me no like risking sanity, sad monkey.
Very theme following! Risk monkey life for cookie, very nice!
Very good game! Monkey rate high! Monkey think very less rating other monkeys give. So good game, need more!
Thank you very much for the super kind words, monkey.
I can see you have put in a lot of time both playing the game and writing your feedback, and I really appreciate that.
You deserve a reward: 🍌
Instant classic runner game. Makes me think of the coolmathgames run games! The music is great as well, that doesn't make it into many jam games, much less done this well!
Thank you for playing the game, and complimenting the music.
As your speed increases, so does the music's intensity, hopefully enhancing your sense of immersion.
It's a fun game! From the screenshot, I thought it was similar to Audiosurf, but it's actually more like F-Zero Puzzle Cookie Simulator.
It's a nice game — very challenging, and I will keep replaying it.
I totaly agree with Big2Bird! I really liked the movement and jump physics, had to get used to the camera tho. I wanted to play every level and collect every cookie, but after world 1 I realiesed I am not yet good enough :(.
I noticed that the sound of the engine (i think) is really aggresive on the speakers. I think one can fix that with lowering the base volume of the sound, so that it doesn't clip the speakers (at least that is how it is done in audacity ? ).
Overall a really fun and cool game!
I'm not very good at parkour games, but yours is quite addictive. I love how the gravity is different for each planet when you jump. I'll probably come back and beat the game when I have time. I would be grateful if you would try our game and leave some feedback too. Good work.
Thank you. I checked out your game too, and enjoyed it very much. :)
