Love the stealth element of it. It fits the theme really well! I couldn't quite make out everything though.

Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for pointing out the brightness, the darkness is definitely an issue.

Great atmosphere, but sadly too dark for me to really play it.

Developer

Thank you so much, sorry about the darkness!

I liked the created atmosphere: intense, footsteps, shadows and light contrast. The only thing was that the game was so dark, I could not see the cookies easily. Besides that, nice work!

Developer

I apologies about the brightness, thank you for playing!

It was a little dark on my screen, so that made it hard to move around.  The idea of possible ray-tracing limited guard sights is a great computer science implementation if that's the route you went.

Developer

Thank you for playing, for the guard's view I first measured if the player was close enough to the guard, and if the guard was facing the player(had a 45 degree cone of view, and 90 in the final level), then if the distance and direction conditions were both met, the guard will cast a ray cast toward the player and only begin to chase the player if nothing was in the way(ignoring items like glass). While chasing the guard doubles his view cone and loses interest in the player after a few seconds of not seeing him. I'm sorry about the brightness, I should've realized that everyone wouldn't know the layouts as much as me and a brighter experience would've been better.

An enjoyable little stealth game. It is cool that the guard actually chases you around when he spots you. And the tutorial was quite amusing. Nice work!

Glad you enjoyed, I felt having the guard chase you and giving a chance for the player to run away felt better than instantly losing when caught. I loved drawing all the panels for the tutorial and happy you liked it. I'll definitely check out your game when I have the chance!
