How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme by making the choice to take risky platforming paths to save time or take the safer path that is slow that can lead to failure.

Your goal is to deliver to a package for the Biscuit Express Company to points and the routes to get there depend on your choices.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Audio:
Sound effects and the music.
Code:
Imported 'Bezier Solution'. A free unity asset used for the movement of the cars.
Imported self-made Audio-particle-UI package as to not write too much boilerplate.
Imported self-made 3D-Character package for same reason.
Other:
The font is not self-made.

Nice take on crazy taxi!
It controls very well and I enjoyed the level design. Also good idea on having power ups and debufs laying around. I appreciate the checkpoints.

Loved the use of physics on the boxes I was carrying it made it more dynamic while moving. Great entry!

Small but good game!

There are a few things that not convince me much, I think the main issue for me is how floaty the stuns feel, maybe if you fall faster or it would be a bit quicker, it would be more enjoyable or it could give the player more confidence because in some point I started to think that running wasn’t good when you are close to the delivery point but some jumps needed sprint so could be more punishing that it should. I kind of understand why the stun is there, it is just the slowdown of the gameplay that makes me see the stun as something not that fun

Also, when you get stun and you are moving the camera, the camera gets locked and keeps rotating which could not be good to restrict the camera movement here because it can feel very unresponsive and maybe some players could get annoyed if the camera moves that much without some control

Other than this, the gameplay feels fine, I like the buffs that are around the map and if you move well, you won’t crash and will move in a smooth way, the bananas are funny and the trampolines are fun, the drones are good because it fits with the world and it’s a creative way to use them as moving platforms in this case instead of adding more props to the scene

About the world, it didn’t feel annoying or feels ok when you explore it with no rush, I like there is a way to reach everything in the map and it didn’t feel empty, maybe in the borders a little but those places aren’t the main point of the map and when you are delivering, the player don’t go through those places. About the amount of buffs I think it’s good, not too many and there are in needed places, which I appreciate for not making it difficult in a sense that you need to pick the buff away from it’s needed and you need to rush to the point to use it, maybe a bit more of bananas would be ok haha

About the controls, I like them but I would prefer the run button on the left stick instead of the right one but I like that it’s 1 push activation and not holding, the only issue I had was that 1st I was playing with keyboard, then switch to control and when I switched back to keyboard, the inputs feel chopped or that the keyboard wasn’t responsive as before making me stay on the controller

Other than that, the game went smoothly. I like there is an end and the world feels nice when you are playing, the song felt like a company ad and that kind of fit with this game because it’s delivery haha. And I like that the game makes you go to the top of the world as the last delivery, also I read in the description that I shouldn’t jump into the blimp and I see why, funny bug hahaha

I guess it’s all I have to say :)

(I would add a screenshot of the text that appears at the end but when I pressed a button it disappear and missed the chance but I actually finished it haha)

Cool retro arcade platformer, I enjoyed it!

Solid platformer. The graphics are really good and the game has a really good and consistent style/environment. Audio is a little basic but that’s to be expected for stock. Some jumps were difficult, but overall, this is a really good entry, I enjoyed it!

I love the 3d models and the environment, it gives off a cozy vibe!

Thank you! All the assets were made during the game jam by me. I’m still pretty new to blender and art in general as well as game development, I only started learning blender this year in April/May, so I appreciate the kind words a lot 😊

Nice game! The bouncing after hitting a wall with sprint or after a car hits you was a bit too much i guess but aside from that it was a funny session

This game caught me off guard ahhaha sprinting to deliver. The third delivery was hard but I managed it, I like the style here, old flash games, the first game that pops into my mind was the pepsi man hahahaha, good job!

Loved the game! Impressive how you were able to do this in a week! But the 3rd package was too difficult for me lol

It is a good game, but the checkpoints up on the top of the towers are just way too hard.  good visuals, good audio. well done!

This was quite enjoyable, especially given how bouncy and fast everything was. From the different pickups in the game to the bounciness of the walls, this really provided an energetic and fun experience that was also quite challenging. I think one thing to look out for is that some parts of the map can lead to the player getting stuck without anyway to get out (I.e. I got stuck on one of the bushes near a house) so maybe a restart button that allows me to reset from the last package point I delivered to could help. But otherwise, good job!

It was a fun game! My only problem was no matter how fast I sprinted, if the sprint button was being pressed and I ran into a wall, it immediately stunned me

Submitted(+3)

Fun little game with a great open layout design! The controls and sound effects make sprinting very satisfying, though the stun caused by the wall made platforming really challenging.

Very well done. Nice sound design, great art and good animation.
I just wasn't able to get to the top of the building. But I think that was my lack of skill.
Great work!

Cool game, I like the world and how everything looks

Fun game but the third package was too difficult for me XD

Submitted(+3)

pretty fun game, sorta like crazy taxi but for package delivery

This game rocked my socks! Reminds me of the N64 era... Excellent setting, fun parkour level design, groovy audio, decent challenge. My only complaint is the hit recovery is brutally long... But I still managed to beat it. Jah bless 🙏

Unbelievable fun game. I never got the package on top of the tower :(

Submitted(+2)

The game is really fun and pretty. However i couldn't find how to get to the third package, on top of the skyscraper, I got the spring shoes but haven't successfully made it. I think the difficulty curve goes crazily up has you never implicitely learn how to make such a trip on previous deliveries. But very well made, congrats!
