You’re welcome :) I also sometimes still struggle to make my game well scaling, especially the web version. I feel like delivering a good web build is a whole different skill, lol. So it’s even more impressive that you pulled it off in just 3 days! Great job! :)

Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time for proper playtesting so I’m aware that the balance may not be perfect and there may be bugs I didn’t notice. As for the map, my idea was to achieve the sense of unfamiliarity by forcing the player to explore this space on their own and in the dark, so if it’s only a matter or limited time, I’d rather increase the time but leave exploration aspect untouched :)

Very fun and funny game! I just wish I could see my score at the end but I really enjoyed the idea :)

This really felt like a strange place. I liked the style and the story! Well done!

It’s not really my genre of games but I actually really enjoyed this story! I enjoyed it to the point that I felt disappointed that all of 3 final choices led to the very same ending. I would love to see some more different endings but I still liked it :)

Very fun game! Just lacks checkpoints and the audio is a bit too loud (and is duplicated when restarting the level?) but otherwise I had fun playing it. I appreciate the level design that requires you to plan your next move instead of just going for it :)

This was really fun to play!

This is so creative and fun to play! Great game!

I didn’t expect Tetris with rooms being this fun! Great and well polished game!

Very fun puzzle game with nice looking visuals!

I loved the puzzle design here. Very clever, sometimes really challenging. The difficulty progression felt nice and the visuals and audio fitted really well. Great game!

Nice idea for a game! Personally I would make it more puzzly (for example being able to use color change only when all blocks are placed would make it actually challenging) but overall a nice game!

Very interesting idea, the randomness really made it strange, even to the point of hangman being unplayable with random letters lol. The other games were fun even with complete randomness (for example when I had to get 2.5s interval with 2.2s error margin). Well done!

Well designed puzzles that really made me think how to complete a level. I had much fun playing this game!

This game was so fun to play! The gameplay, visuals and audio, everything fitted together so well. Loved it!

Fun concept and neat visuals! I only wish there were some more difficult level in late game.

I wish there was 1 or 2 more levels but overall I had fun playing it. The idea is really creative and the visuals look neat, well done!

Very cute little puzzle game with lovely graphics! I just wish there was some ultimate challenge last level so I had to think more and use what I learned. But overall it was fun to play, well done!

I can’t remember the last time I was this proud of myself for finishing a game XD The difficulty of controlling the cursor was insane at moments but I still had fun playing this. I loved that the changes made by sliders acrually persisted on each screen. Well done!

Loved the visuals and the story idea! The combat was too hard for me though and some checkpoints were too far back what made respawning slightly frustrating. Overall nice game though :)

Creative idea for a game! I had fun playing it and the visuals are neat too!

(1 edit)

I like both jigsaw and Geoguessr so I had fun playing it! I’ve only seen some technical issues like:

  • spawning pieces off the screen when on fullscreen (no problems without fullscreen)
  • drag-and-drop not being predictable and ordered (ex. taking items from the very bottom), I’ve learned making this myself recently so I understand the difficulties ;)
  • being able resend good answer infinitely before quitting the level so I can get infinite tokens (not sure if intended or a bug)

But all of these doesn’t change the fact that I enjoyed your game, well done! :)

Have you tried it without going fullscreen? Because for me it happened only when I loaded puzzle on fullscreen :)

I loved the atmosphere of the game that was composed of visuals, audio and gameplay fitting well together!

Thank you for playing! The original plan was to make it more random and even have different layouts for each level, I lacked enough time though :)

I loved it so much! Seems simple yet the idea of playing with the player on the meta level made it so enjoyable!

I loved how you went out of bounds with it! The level design was very fun to play with and the controls felt snappy :)

It was really fun to play! I especially enjoyed the puzzles and mysterious atmosphere of the world

Thanks for playing! I am aware that the gameplay loop may not be well balanced, this jam I didn’t have enough time to polish it, so I’m happy that you still found it fun :)

Thanks for the comment! The door is supposed to reset the level and take away one live as it’s safety net for timeout game over, did you have trouble with that? The coffee machine is in the most hidden and distant room :)

I’ll be happy to check it out again with more forgiving controls! Btw, I liked the hat easter egg at the beginning of the level :)

Very fun puzzle game and some of the last levels are quite tough! Loved it! I just have a doubt about last level - if the dining room can be only next to a kitchen, then it probably shouldn’t be able to neighbor another dining room? :)

I loved the idea and the game itself! The only thing I miss is highscore (personally I got to 1001) and some atmospheric background music :)

Clever idea for a game! Unfortunately I didn’t manage to master propelling myself so I didn’t get beyond the 4th pear. I still enjoyed the game though!

I love the idea and visuals! Therefore I’m really sad that the controls where too much for me and I didn’t finish the game. Personally I’d make the jump slightly higher because now there’s literally no room for error and also the idol turns a bit to wide for me so it’s easy to get stuck in tighter places. But otherwise a cool game!

It felt really surreal and I enjoyed interacting with characters. Well done!

Thanks for pointing this out, it’s fixed now!

Thanks for playing! I am aware jumping may not feel perfect - I’ll certainly keep that in mind for my future projects :)

The idea is cool and has potential for some further development (like adding skills or more varied levels) but for the jam the game is actually good and has a nice art style. I only think that people in rooms should believe me more often because otherwise I wasn’t even able to force them out with shooting unless I got the timing really fortunate. Anyway, good job!
