Thanks for playing! Do let us know if there's anything in particular you'd like to see more polished!

Very interesting chess-like mechanic with moves dictated by the cards in hand. I really enjoyed the art, music, and overall peaceful setting of the game! Great job!

Really cool hamster-themed battle royale! I really liked the variety of skills and how challenging the AIs are. I must say that the homing deflection skill can be pretty overpowered :D

Thanks so much for playing and for the suggestion! Adding a check for the last moved element is a great idea!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks a lot for playing! For the moment, I've added a short description to the page indicating how to control the rotation. Hopefully, that'll help other players get a handle on the controls.

Thanks for playing! For the shield, as with all other items, you have to place it back to its original position/orientation. If you try to move the shield initially, you'd realize that it's not possible. Hint: It might be held in place by something, perhaps it's being screwed down by something? And how do you usually remove a screw?

I really loved how wonky and silly everything was, especially the very many awesome animations for the dog and the collision physics sending the dog flying! The artstyle is adorable and the music fits really well with the tone. Amazing job!

The levels were very well designed considering the challenge required to switch between 2D and 3D, and I really had fun clearing them in particular the massive dust monster level! The writing was also superb and I really enjoyed the humour. I did encounter a bug where my mouse was flipped over and could no longer jump. As with others, the laser rotation speed could use a little tiny boost (I read that you already fixed that). Apart from that, amazing game!

I'd say this is one of the biggest hidden gem! It takes creativity to a whole new level by combining a baking game and a deck builder. I loved absolutely everything about the visuals, from the 3D designs, to the UI (cards, recipe screen), and especially that curved guiding line and the selection highlights on the utensils! The music fits the game so well as it gets really intense pretty quickly, and by the third round I was flinging ingredients into the multiple mixers and ovens like I'm the baking wizard :D Really well done!

Cute little game! Loved the art style and the audio design which adds to the quirkiness of the game.

Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah, the rotation controls takes a little getting used to because it's up-down. We haven't seen these sort of point-and-click puzzle games made in Unreal, so we wanted to experiment with it. Though you're right, it can be a little overpowered :D

Really enjoyed this one with strong inspirations from Enter the Gungeon! The artstyle is adorable, the controls feel great, and I had fun testing out the heat mechanics, as well as different weapons. There was a bug for me when I brought the boss down to 0 HP but the fight just kept going, perhaps that happened when the muffin was separated and it bugged out.

Really loved the layout design and the camerawork panning around when trying to see different parts of the layout, could see the inspirations from Inscryption and Buckshot Roulette! The gameplay is also interesting, trying to juggle between different card effects that risks the player's health. I hope you could expand more on this idea like adding more cards, items, and levels!

Loved the very pleasant visuals in this game, everything from the 3D models, UI, cutscenes, to level designs! Great use of dithering material to help with the camerawork too. It seems that the lost crumbs restore after returning them, so you could technically collect only the easy ones to win the game. Nevertheless, it was fun exploring the levels!

Thanks for playing, the accuracy checks definitely needs some fine-tuning!

Thanks for playing! It would definitely help a lot with a web build, but unfortunately Unreal stopped supporting that.

Ah I tried interacting with the civilian twice and both times they refused to leave, so I thought that it wasn't implemented and they just wasted the countdown timer :D Then in that case, having the means to skip through the dialogues would be good, or maybe having some way to allow the player to persuade them to evacuate.

Thanks a lot for playing! The accuracy check does require some fine-tuning and could be a little too strict.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, some fine-tuning for the rotation controls might be needed!

Thanks for playing, and yeah adding some snapping controls is a good idea!

This was a really fun one! I loved the sci-fi emissive aethetics with simple shapes! The idea to balance attacking or risking self-damage is a good one, though I found it a little too punishing and ended up just spamming the melee attack to beat the game :D

Really cool that you created everything yourself! You got the core gameplay implemented well and there's a fun risks/reward system with a good variety of powerups. Hope that you could further expand on this with more enemies, different weapons/items!

Some suggestions and possible things you could add:
1. Give the player a strafing movement instead, by having the position of the mouse control the direction of attack. It's a little awkward right now because the player has to turn around everytime they want to attack.
2. Give a little feedback when the player or enemy is damaged. Something like an audio cue could work, or a bit of knockback would be even better.

A straightforward but very enjoyable game! The art style and audio design were great, and the variety of collectibles also kept it interesting despite being challenging!

Nice implementation of the jam theme having to balance action and sanity. Love the beautiful art style and amazing audio designs! The voiceover for the narration was also well done, could imagine doing an audiobook :D

Cool interpretation of the theme and loved the vampiric narrative, as well as performing the narration through cards! The gameplay was really fun and I thought it was well-implemented as there was quite a variety of cards and effects, I hope you can further expand this idea with more card effects and perhaps different adversities. The music selection was great as it complements the mysterious setting really well. Overall, great job!

Some small hiccups that I think could have a quick fix:
1. Fixing the ending screen. It gave an error when the ritual was completed.
2. Prevent the background from being movable.
3. Have a way to drag multiple die into a single card. It was a little tedious having to drag the die one after the other.

Cool interpretation of the theme, having to choose whether to risk defusing the bomb or leaving it. You have the main gameplay loop nicely implemented and I hope you can further expand this idea! There are some directions you could think of pursuing since you mentioned that you wanted to turn it into a full game: adding different items/weapons, creating some varied enemies (melee/range), talking/knocking on doors could have the civilian evacuate etc.

Thanks for playing! A little hint: try using anything you can find (eg. background, nearby points) as a reference point!

Very interesting take on the theme and for pursuing a boardgame/4K-like genre! Love the 'snackrifice' mechanic as it adds a unique twist (also love the name btw :D )! I think you have the base movement and capture system well-implemented, though it would be nice to be able to move the camera slightly as it is a little difficult to get a view of the board from a static corner.

Loved how charming everything is, everything from the gameplay, art direction to the audio design!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much for playing and for all the feedback! The reconstruction check does require some tweaking to make it less strict, and your suggestion to implement some form of snapping is definitely a good idea!

This is one of the best implementation of the theme I've seen so far and I really enjoyed it! The gameplay loop is so simple, yet so creative and clever. Trying to figure out the optimal bite shape for each of the biscuit is so satisfying, and the continuous fairy rotation around the biscuit adds another layer of welcomed challenge. Everything about the art direction is so adorable, from the characters, UI, to the background environments! The audio design also fits perfectly. Well done!

Thanks for playing and glad that you had fun! The accuracy check does require some balancing and could be a little too strict in some instances.

Thanks for playing and glad that you enjoyed it!

Also really enjoyed your game, it was a really fun experience roaming around as a raccoon :D

Amazing level design in both the interior and exterior settings, especially the starting playground! Loved the colourful setting and how radiant everything looks, even in darkness :D Also really enjoyed music in each part of the level. Really appreciate the intro pointing out the controls, as well as the monologue guiding the objectives. Hope you could further expand this idea and further flesh out the city setting, I think it would be really fun being able to roam the entire city causing mischief as a racoon!

Thanks for checking out our game!

Well done on your first jam! The level designs were great, hope you can continue expanding this and perhaps include additional mechanics!

Love the humour and writing, as well as the art style! The building and management mechanic is well-designed and engaging too. Well done!
