Wow. This game is very impressive. I hope to aspire to your level some day!
Wow, really beautiful! I really enjoyed it, well done!
Cool and innovative. First level was bit to hard for me.
Loved the gameplay, art and music! I just wish the game used the mouse for placing the blue guys at work instead of relying on character direction. since the player speed is really high, it was hard to place them where I wanted. Other than that, great work!
Really well-polished, liked the chaotic pace followed by the strategic tinkering of the building round. I think it'd be good to rebalance some of the profit gains from biscuits vs mulching employees, as I think I was making more money as a morgue than through the actual biscuit business :)
Yeahhhh the corpse stuff is something I realised after the fact. I guess its thematically appropriate lmao? Still, glad you enjoyed it!
Neat game. I think it does many things right. Exposition is short and catchy, most of the mechanics are explained clearly and the art, ui and sounds are solidly implemented.
I couldn't get past the second level. I wasn't sure what to do with safety. The game said I needed to keep the profit above the red line, but doing so made the employees die so quickly that I couldn't earn enough money, although it felt like was going as fast as I could. I wish I could've seen more of the game.
Still impressive work and good job!
This is a really great entry! The art is great and the game itself feels very polished. I love the concept of combining an optimization factory builder with a fast paced timed minigame section. The dialogue is funny and the gameplay loop is satisfying. I would love to see this expanded upon when the jam is over with some more QOL and level mechanics!
Great game! It could have been a pretty repetitive game but the fast-paced, chaotic nature of the gameplay keep it fun and engaging.
Like some other people have said though, the building part of it is not as interesting as the first part. Or maybe it is, but it's just too slow compared to the opening. If you had mouse support for the building part it could have been much faster and so you can get back to
exploitingemploying your workers quicker.Very nice writing as well, but I though the font choice is a bit difficult to read. Also on the dialogue box some texts just disappear when you skip it with K, instead of displaying them instantly. So that part didn't work consistently.
Overall a pretty solid entry though. Good job!
I really enjoyed your game. It seemed very fast paced but that's probably because I was terrible at it XD. The visuals and the music were great. Overall a very good game. Well done!
nice game, more
Very fun game with solid game mechanisms. There's a mix of factory building alongside the rush to replace workers. Beautiful pixel art and also, love the sense of humor!
Very funny game, rather difficult too (for me at least haha) But it's really fluid with the transitions between rooms and the drop location snapping to the right spots pretty often. Simple and effective visuals, very fun overall!
This entry is really solid. The gameplay is really fun and fast paced, and the factory building gamemode interacts with the worker gamemode in such a satisfying way, though I'm a fan of that type of optimization-focused game so it might feel better for me than it does for others. Also, this game is really funny. I feel like the joke of dangerous working conditions in video games has been done to death, but this game does it incredibly well (The joke where you're told to lower the safety level and its already incredibly low made me laugh out loud)
Cute game :)
This was a great game and very fun! I think it'd be nice if there were more things to do during the part where you're switching in and out the employees. Of course, the switching part would have to be made a bit easier, but I think it would add to the overall chaos and fun of the game! Otherwise, great job!!
You get a bit of that in the third level onwards, but yeah I think it could have used a bit more chaos. Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh, really? I wasn't able to get past the third level due to that fact that I kept failing to meet the quota. Maybe I'll try it again sometime to try to get past it!
I felt it was slightly too difficult to place employees in the correct spot when in a hurry, but otherwise cool game and nice art style.
Thanks for the feedback! There was a system in place to autolock employees into slots, but it probably could have afforded to be a little more sensitive. Either way, thanks for the nice comment!
This is such a brilliant game! I thoroughly enjoyed it, it feels smooth, and it's really creative. This is a 5 star in enjoyment, gameplay, innovation, and theme for me. Best game I have played so far to be honest, and I played like 30. I do have one recommendation, and I might be alone in this opinion so feel free to ignore it, but I find the building part to be both unnecessary and maybe a little detrimental. I say this because I was expecting the game I initially played, and it turned into a different one for a moment. It kinda loses my emersion of the game and slows it down a ton. I know this might hurt to hear, because you did a great job with the building system, I just think for future reference, it's best to stick with the gameplay loop you're looking for, and play on that as many ways as possible. Overall, this is some fantastic work, and from the games I have seen so far, this feels like a winner to me.
Oh! and I noticed the Lord Farquaad reference. Great work!
Honestly a great comment and I apppreciate the honest feedback, I can see how the building can be a pace breaker to what is otherwise a pretty fast game. Glad you enjoyed it despite that thought!
Welp I got fired 😂 This was such a fun game and I enjoyed everything about it! Great work and keep it up ❤
Great writing, I love me some Amazon Factorio.
"Great writing" is a stunning compliment from someone with an entry likes yours. Thank you so much!
Hilarious concept, sharp writing, and surprisingly deep mechanics. The factory layout puzzle had me hooked and stressed.
Wanna try my game?
Gave it a play at a rate. Nice work!
