Very good game!

Very good take on minesweeper! I kinda wish there were flags but ultimately that's not really necessary of course. I also got to the top of the leaderboards and in trying to do so the connection to the game jam's theme became really strong. To get cookies whilst avoiding enemies or keeping time low, it's sometimes worth it to just risk blowing up a bomb instead of taking the long way around.

Very cute and very well implemented mechanics. I also softlocked myself but since I figured out you can just press R it was fine. But would probably be helpful if the game detected if you can't move any more and displayed the reset button on the screen, or something like that.

I played and rated your game

I felt it was slightly too difficult to place employees in the correct spot when in a hurry, but otherwise cool game and nice art style.

I played it and gave feedback!

Good idea to have to throw away your arms to equip the wings. But I also ended up running past most enemies since there didn't seem to be much reason to risk dying to kill them.

I played your game!

I very much agree about the Risk thing! I really wanted to add an encounter like that, but sadly we didn't have enough time towards the end. We'll look into it if we update the game later. Thanks for playing!

It was fun to watch you playing the game. You were really good!

I like what is roughly speaking dialogue as gameplay! I didn't at first understand how I had to make a deal since the cards for that showed up quite late, but once I figured out how it worked there wasn't any problem. Scrambling to use a bunch of cards at the end until a special offer card showed up was kinda fun.

Also it seemed like the game screen is more intentionally restricted when actually playing so that you can't see outside the table sprite, but during cutscenes I could see characters floating off to the side with no table under them. I would think this isn't unique to me since I played in browser, but that's the only thing that really bothered me.

Yeah funnily enough I actually am Swedish lol, my current keyboard just has ÖÄÅ in the same place but other stuff is different

Yeah I didn’t consider that extra button since I don’t have one, but some of my friends had the same issue after playing it

Honestly, I think it basically was based on Deltarune. SHIFT might have been a weird choice but the whole thing seemed to work better for me than it did for others.

EDIT: Based on Deltarune in the sense of using arrow keys and ZXC. Chapter 3 had does retro sections as well that made me want to make a Zelda-esque game as well.

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I think controls has been the main complaint that we've seen. So if we update it after the jam we'll definitely look into alternative control schemes.

I commented and rated!

The reload mechanics and jamming mechanics were initially just slightly difficult to get used to, but added a lot. They were really panic inducing at times. Although I didn't realize that the pistol attachment increased the frequency of jamming.

Oh, that's unfortunate! We'll check it out if we ever update the game after the jam.

I really like the points being the amount of months you have left to live. Took a fair amount of attempts to beat the boss but I did eventually with a double score upgrade. If you had some effects and sound when counting the months gained it'd probably feel really good to get a high score.

I rated yours too!

Very cute artstyle and good audio! The strategy is fun and specifically in the way you manage eggs I think the risk element can come through, but it felt difficult to judge how worthwile it would be to draw cards, since most of the ones I got were purely detrimental.

I thought it was fun that you included questions and such to answer.

Very tricky. I wish you could move lines faster since it felt kinda sluggish when I needed to rush to clear a bomb. It'd be nice if there were some audio and visual effects, but even without that it still feels reasonably satisfying to clear out large chunks of tiles, I think since you freeze frame for a bit when you clear them out.

Thanks! I posted a comment and rated your game.

I thought the UI was kinda small so it was difficult to notice certain details like the current value in the middle of the card pile, but that might have been something with my screen resolution or something like that. Otherwise interesting and like the vibe.

Rated yours too!

I took the risk and accepted every single bribe. It didn't seem to pay off. Was a pretty good variant on the Papers, Please formula.

I ate the mouse.

I did like it and also rated it!

Very sleepy and cute.

I think climbing rage games are really fun, but I also didn't manage to beat it yet. It was slightly yanky at times but it was still enjoyable.

Yes, I left a comment and rated it

Checked it out :)
