Short but sweet. Only nitpicks I can point to would be to add a few more sound effects and a more clear indication of what color fly I should catch. It took me a while to realize why I was losing my combo, but once I realized what I had to do, I could not die, as my timer just wouldn't go down fast enough.
Nice job.

I really like the visual style and look of the game. same goes for the animations for the player and enemies. Actually playing it however was not that fun for me.
The manner in which I have to move my character around is very weird and unintuitive, making dodging hits and hitting enemies difficult.
If the core control scheme gets adjusted, then I can see this becoming something very cool.

Absolutely love taking out the brewing cauldron due to the beautiful spritework. The gameplay can definitely be improved upon as it was getting stale quickly.

3:58 on my first playthrough. pretty good feeling 2D platformer!

arrows keys or WASD. For poses you have to use the mouse to drag the limbs/character around.

every 25th obstacle in "Mixed" will put the player into pose mode automatically

I was trying it with a dualshock 4 controller. maybe it was on my end, who know

A solid 'make your own platformer' game that also tickles your brain.
Really fun and inventive!

Nice looking game, but hard to grasp what I actually am doing, or maybe I'm just bad.

Cool idea, but needs work. I propose adding sounds asap as having some that play on player actions will help a lot with the fun factor.

I like it a lot, simply encountered some annoying bugs like invisible walls blocking my only way forward, or falling into the abyss below, even if I reset the car.
Nice Game

Impressive arcade experience that does not let down. Amazing work

Very simple gameplay of just punching pretty much everything, and yet it has been very satisfying due to the level of detail and polish.

The design of the characters really makes me wish there was a mode in which it was not top down gameplay. Then I'd be able to take a closer look as to what I'm shooting and my own robot froggy.

Neat concept, wish it was polished more to see more of its potential.

Charming 2d platformer with very pleasing sounds. Some jumps however are pretty annoying due to grounded detection being off, or colliding with edges.

Very nice aesthetic and vibes.
It would be extra sweet if it allowed me to play with a controller as I feel it almost a requirement for 3D platformer-ish games, as locking player movement to the the cardinal and intercardinal directions can be painful for many types of jumps. Knowing where to go can also be a headache.
Give it a go a say!

Incredibly charming and unique game. It is very difficult, yet it feels somehow warranted due to its innate design. Can't for the life of me finish this game completely, but definitely a recommend it.

Pretty damn cool. I like most of what it has to offer and unlocking new things feels neat. Also well polished when it comes to sound and visuals. Just wish the core player movement and camera controls felt better because I was fighting that more so than enemies or puzzles.

I enjoyed it, just did not know exactly what I had to do after making multiple pink blobs

The tutorial you made was by far from bad, it was good even! It's just that your game really does have a lot going on in it for a game-jam game. Good luck.

A good time, especially with a controller. Well polished on all aspects except for the optimization of some code, as I noticed the more I shred through a grassy field, the more my game will chug if I enter said area again. It's my only nitpick and thus very forgivable. Good job!

It's good that it was merciful with its health regen, cuzz the enemies sure don't have chill. Neat concept, just wish the projectiles were easier to dodge and a more zoomed out approach would've benefitted this playstyle I think.

A very well polished and nice looking game. The gameplay loop was also satisfying. Only difficult part is getting the hang of it initially.

Really love the style. Love the idea of having to store all my collectible in a chest that I carry around. Just wish there was a mechanic that allows me to carry more than 1 coin/gem at a time. The back and forth moving was getting a bit too much.

Thanks ! My main gripe is that I wish I could polish the difficulty ramp up and camera a bit more.

(1 edit)

Thx ! I also always wanted to be on one of them. I believe I somewhat failed in the execution of it, but I think I'll touch it up a bit after the jam ends.

Good gameplay loop. Would've loved one additional metric for score when ending a level to send dopamine to my brain

Cool but gets frustrating with its control scheme, though that might just be me

Neat concept, just a bit too many loading screens making the gameplay loop somewhat tedious.

It feels nice to skoot around, but gets stale fast. Make sure you add sounds next time! even just a few sound effects or background track will do a lot.

I like sending out Stuart Littles

Neat concept, it was just hard to follow how many people I had sent to x or y and whether they still had space. Also use more sounds for player actions ! When I click something, I want the game to to audibly tell me I have clicked something.

I did not know how to swap weapons for quite a while so you probably wanna say that somewhere (even if just the itch page). Felt nice, just a bit lacking in giving the player the motivation to kill so many enemies. An increasing score or something would do a lot

I sadly enough got stuck quick, but it is a neat concept and I was enjoying myself .

Thx for telling me!

Yeah you right. Thanks for the comment

yeah, the jump also speeds up too much making it far harder than crouching when the game speeds up. I'll likely fix a few things after the jam is over.

Current version does not have a button to close the Game !

Hope you can forgive me
