Winning on day 3 through pure skill. It pretty fun challenge to keep the combo going. The sound for the slapping is also very satisfying.
Also... Meow meooow meow meooooow...
Neat, definitely leave some hours for sound implementation as it would really enhance the experience.
Regarding the rocket looking jittery. If it's a unity rigidbody, try setting the interpolation to interpolate & your movement code on the rocket should be in FixedUpdate(). Maybe doing those 2 things will help ya.
Solid Entry. Really nice polish things like the loading screen animation & variety of sounds. I have also not seen a game like this before so it's pretty unique.
I would've liked to screenshot all my level scores and post them, but upon beating lvl 5, I couldn't leave that level complete screen anymore.
I could only manage to go for the first stages biscuits as I didn't seem to be able to make the needed height on the second stage for a jump.
Neat levels. Though I don't know if it's by design but the player will gain more velocity by changing their movement direction midjump, making jumps that aren't straight pretty difficult imo.
Really nicely made. So much polish that I can appreciate.
Love what getting hurt looks/sounds like. Gameplay is pretty intuitive and I like that I could play on controller.
Only critique I could give is that some things being far of screen makes it hard to know how to dodge/where to go, this however did not stop me from first-trying the boss.
Would like to try it out, but I think 3 quarters of the screen are missing, making it impossible to start the game for me. Seems like you're struggling with a resolution issue.
You can try making the full screen button an option on the itch page settings (or change some resolution settings. Hopefully you can get it to work.
I believe updating your game file is okay in the first 48 hours as long as we're talking about game-breaking things, in case this is a godot build issue (atleast that's what I've been seeing in the brackeys discord server).
I'll re-check out this title once u respond to this.
Got the evil wizard to pop. Do have to say that the game-loop changed drastically after i got to a third of the wizards hunger bar. I ended up having so many mined chips that for the remaining 2/3 of the hunger, i could just stay above and sit next to the machine.
I wanted to go back to mine, but most chips were too deep for it to be even viable (why would I if I knew I had enough to win).
Really liked the visuals and audio.
I like the throw-teleport mechanic a lot.
Some of the bounces that the levels ask of the player can be on the more frustrating side as I can't possibly tell exactly where it will end up if it has to pas 3 corridors (let's say the corridor right before the 1st boss).
Cool game, I recommend ditching enemies/combat and fully focusing on the scythe-throwing and creating more puzzle-esque challenges. Let's say you can toggle between different types of scythes during the throw, each having its own effect or something of the like.
Reminds me of Geometry Dash.
There's fun upbeat music, a good-looking style with clear colors.
The difficulty is quite high I believe (or I'm plain bad). I think this game could do with either
It was a nice short experience that may or may not have fried my brain.
