Thanks for playing!! glad to know you liked the feeling of it, and yeah it’s fair it was a safe idea (:
(you betcha we gon do some way cooler stuff)
Lovely! so fun! I would have loved the endless mode I’m gonna check this in the future to see if it’s implemented I really like the mechanics! the gameplay feels smooth and the fast pace but dont mistake is very fun. I personally thought the addition of the mouse was too annoying but personal opinion. Goodjob!
Holy level design.. Def one of the better made entries, I Like the lofi vibes with the music, I LOVE the level design, I like that u made hints and stuff and even a playthrough, I think having guides for where each thing can move would have been great but it’s a jam so we’re not entitled to polish haha. The art is cute especially the lighing-dithering thing I will definitely try to recreate it in the future. I wish some mechanic was more.. sleep.. if that makes sense but Goodjob!
Pretty good, the music is great (though it stops after a while if you stale at the walls for too long) the art is cute and cool and I like the colors. I enjoyed this and ABSOLUTELY love the idea it’s a great idea w pun. I actively dislike the sheep shooting, if they didnt the game still wouldnt have been too easy but it would have been much more fair and much more enjoyable. the sheep shoot randomly with no indicators so it’s very common to just fall on a sheep just to be 2 pixels too late and have them shoot you while you are literally touching you. great entry and goodjob you should be proud!
Nice idea and good implementation, uhhh I didn’t die so I ended up waiting till I thought I got all the content then left the game, it’s quite easy. the sfx are great, I wish there was some kind of music, maybe only in the morning or so, the world itself could have used some polish. though im quite surprised at how well balanced the sheep movement is and how controllable barking at them is. good job!
Great art I almost don’t believe this is just two colors.. maybe everyone assuming pixel art is what makes 2 colors so hard lol cuz this is not even noticable! sometimes there is inaccuracy in the line that predicts the ball movement, I like the game design, though I wish it was infinitely generated instead of levels format for unlimited replayability cuz I genuinely prefer this than similar less creative commercial titles! goodjob

I ASSURE you it is what I wanted. THIS TOOK ME LIKE 10 MINUTES. very great game! polished everything cool art cool visual affects cool mechanics good player controller. FINALLY a good twist for rage platformers that it actually feels worth playing. I can see this being at the top.
I hated that there was no insta kill button or something so when you fall knowing you wont continue its 25 seconds of waiting which is the BAD kind of rage. quite silly but I wish interacting with the ui had a little sfx since it was my first interaction with the game I kinda assumed it wont be as good as it turned out to be. and the double jump can often bug and not work. I personally assume this is because there is no coyote time at all which means what I assume is the first jump to the game is actually my double jump: which is not good. but great game, hope it wins something!

Great job. this cover photo is doing you a HUGE disservice I was genuinely avoiding this entry until you played our game, now it’s one of my favorites. I like that you made it a game boy game, I like all the qot UI and all the polish this has to be one of the most polished games here. onto the feedback half of the sandwich: the gameplay mechanic IS cool it’s just that I wish that something in the dream half of the level made you have to go faster, because otherwise it’s just a game with the twist of “you have to inconveniently touch stuff so you play the exact same level again just without the touching and a bit faster” another thing that would have fixed this is if the morning levels’ collectables were in different places than the night alternatives. even if visible by both. because then it would feel like somewhat of a fresh experience. and then the post feedback compliments bun of the sandwich: though it’s not too loud, it’s a very polished and wellmade game, the player controller feels perfect and reactive, the game runs smooth, the level design is great, I don’t think it has any weak points. goodjob!
edit: wohooo new cover art
Oh sorry I swear I added it to the credits idk where it went!
For this jam we used the godot SilentWolf plugin which has multiple backend stuff including hosting leaderboards.
If you use unity I also vouch for https://danqzq.itch.io/leaderboard-creator as it’s also a very dependable free service for hosting a quick leaderboard.
They do require a small amount of reading docs but they aren’t too hard!
Glad you enjoyed the game <3
PERFECT! I knew some game will rock the two-worlds gameplay considering the theme. and this did it perfectly. perfect music (though could have used some variety) perfect art and color and EXTREMELY respectable game design. interaction with objects could be a bit better but nah even though I am starting to say this for every game this jam but this is my actual favorite entry I think. hope it wins (: (also yeah changing the cover art was the right move)

Good game, I enjoyed it and like what you went for.
the art is actually pretty charming, especially with the visual affect of zooming into that thang
the… jazz… playing in the background is actually pretty acceptable. it’s made to be ear jarring but it’s not random and unpleasant to hear.
the player controller is actually surprisingly good, the jumps feel great the movement is smooth, i think the wall jumping was a bad idea, slowing down at the walls is the bad kind of unpleasent.
the only feedback i’d give is better level design, it’s not really hard, and the section of dashing down against the rotating spikes is unfair and literally highlights the bad walljumping, but there were a couple of creative ideas and I liked the big balls coming from under.
enjoyable (:
Greatly polished. the settings alone are a nice touch story jam games that leave the text go slow always ruin it for me so having an option for that is an entirely different experience. the writing is great for 10 days, I like the metaphors. the art style is great. the music fits the mood extremely well, a bit jarring on my ears but that’s personal bias against a classic technique so don’t mind me. I got ending two, can’t be bothered to replay the entire thing again to get different endings (especially since the criteria for how to get an ending is not clear at all) so ig my feedback for this would be splitting it into chapters so it’s easier to go for more endings and making it clearer what is our role as a player. what choice we do matters. other than that, great job. no reason to dwell on it!
IDEK what to say. this is a jam game? it’s great! this is two colors????? I have never seen a jam game with so much visual affects and polishing. the player controller feels GREAT and very intuitive. the world mechanics like the vents are GREAT. the different locations and chapters and music tracks are all amazing. I didn’t go past the “Dream” level because uhh it was starting to jumpscare me and I am too sleepy for that but I enjoyed what I played. kudos
