How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
You're the Unlucky victim of an Office sandwich thief... More was planned, but that's all there is for now.
Well, I was unlucky and ran out of time and you're also Unlucky in that the game is incomplete and you're unable to track the thief down...

I like these kinds of story games, and yours is nicely made!

That was a neat prototype! I like the character art; it reminds me of 80s computer adventure games. The music conveys the dour, overly-serious tone well (and it sounds great)!

Good work! Congratulations on the submission!

Despite the consistent self-criticism in the game, I like the little narrative-focused experience that's here. This could definitely be a fun exploration of each character's personality and how the clutter of their offices communicates their feelings towards the work environment. Too bad about that sandwich, though! Would've liked to find it :)

Thank you, I hadn’t done any work on it for several days and had an hour to write some dialogue before uploading it, just thought it would be amusing to point out how unfinished the game was lol

I like your idea though :)

I thought this game was a funny little romp. I hope you get some time to expand on it because you have the humor down.

Thank you 🙂

The music is a 5 minutes thing? I actually like it ngl. the game is good, yes not a lot of content but I can tell there was care for the details, the movement is smooth the colleagues are unique and the fact that we can’t finish the game being unlucky is funny so goodjob and I am glad you submitted!

Fortunately I make music regularly, I would have given it a lot more variation and more layers if I’d had time, always our own worst critic haha

Really nice feedback,

Thank you

Great example of why you should always submit your jam entries, even if they aren't finished.

I had a lot of fun exploring as much of this office building as I could. The art is great, you got a lot of cool details in that made each office feel a little different, like everyone having different calendars was a nice touch.

The music was fun and added some liveliness to the world. If its a project you ever end up going back to I'd definitely play a finished version.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my game 😁

I like the fact you noticed the different calendars 😅😁👍

We really liked the jokes, also the music was good.

Developer

Thank you, I’m surprised to hear a compliment on the music, but I’ll take it lol

Indeed the game is incomplete, but nonetheless the whole GB spirit is really good, I felt the nostalgia in it, well done

Developer

Thank you

Is it weird that I was hoping, regardless of how many times you said in game that the game was incomplete, that there was more?  A sarcastic game where you are looking for a thief but after investigating it turns out there was no theft, because the artist forgot to draw the item to start with? I feel like that would have been a good little in-joke

Developer(+1)

Ah... if only I had thought of that Haha Thanks for "playing" and commenting :)
