How does your game fit the theme?
As you play Watts Up, we assure you will find yourself saying "I want to know what's behind this door?". The key mechanic of the game is reflecting lasers from behind doors. Behind every door lies an area of the map leading to death, escape, mazes or clues to a bigger mystery.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all code + art were done from scratch in the game jam
(except music and sound)

WATTAGAME!!
It is wonderful that the door plays so many roles!! I was also excited about the storyline that we are gradually learning.
Thanks for the fun!! Great work!!
Hello there! We're so thrilled you played all the way through!!! Thanks for sharing the love :))
Very cool game and very well tutorialised! I particularly like the use of the Memories as a more complicated version of the level. Well done! The only issue I had was the player controller sometimes sticking to walls
Thanks a lot for playing our game... I'm so happy you enjoyed the added challenge of the memories!
Really cool game, the puzzles are well thought out and build in complexity at a good pace that keeps it interesting without becoming overwhelming. The collisions are a little odd, you can get stuck on a flat surface if you try to move along it while you're close, and I was able to exploit that to beat one of the puzzles by moving a box diagonally but I'm not sure if that was the intended solution. Otherwise though it pays very smoothly and the story was a nice touch, great job!

Awesome Game! I really enjoyed the puzzles and Dave is very cute.
Thank you for playing our game, so glad you enjoyed! Dave says thanks, hehe.
absolutely fantastic game! i love the mechanics of you using the doors to deflect the lasers into the power cells. easy 5 stars on Innovation lol. I really like the low-poly visuals and colors as well!
Thanks a lot for playing our game and being so generous with your appreciation! So glad you enjoyed!
It's such a good game. I think it will win. I would appreciate it if you could rate my game.
What a kind thing to say! Thank you for playing our game... Will definitely check out your game too :))
Excellent puzzle design. Nailed the theme. Probably the best from this jam that I've played so far. The player sticking on the sides of walls is my only complaint. I remember fixing a similar issue in a 2D game but I'm not 100% sure it's the same problem here. Nevertheless, well done. Your team should be super proud!
Thanks a lot for playing our game and sharing your feedback!
super clever level design! i was able to pick up the core mechanics super quick after playing the first few levels, then was able to focus on the puzzles. the electricity reminded me of zelda, which i love very much. great job.
Thanks a lot for playing our game and sharing your very warm thoughts!
The best game i have played so far
Thank you so much!
Nice to see a game that uses doors as the main mechanic rather than being slapped as one of the decorations lol
Difficulty curve was pretty smooth, and new mechanics were introduced naturally. Rotation indicator shadows were a nice touch. It takes time to fully understand but I think it's a nice part of the puzzle to figure it out, and makes the puzzles here feel fair. Solidly designed game :)
Thanks a lot for playing our game and sharing your very kind thoughts!

Love the character and the style. Great puzzles and atmosphere. Took me a min to pick up on the shadows under the turrets showing where they would turn, maybe add a text hint. I played it to the end. Also, is it me or is the elevator going down?
Thanks a lot for playing our game and sharing your feedback!
Very nice game! I love the visuals and the music is quite funky. The little story bits also added a lot of depth to the game. great work!
Thank you for playing our game! We're so happy you loved the visuals!
Excellent. 4.8/5. Would have been 5/5 if you had audio settings during the levels in a menu or something. My favorite game so far. Great work. Polished, progressive, good difficulty for a game jam game.
Marvelous work.

Many thanks for playing our game and sharing your thoughts!
Exceptionally well done! I love the graphics. This has got to be the most innovative use of doors in a game I've seen so far. I like the narrative that's added by reading the memories as well.
Thank you so very much for your lovely comment! Glad you enjoyed our game!
Definitely one of (if not) the best game in the jam. The puzzles are amazing and clever. Can't believe you managed to make so many of them ! The movement and friction could be smoothened a bit, but other than that, for me there's nothing lacking in the game. Had an absolute blast playing it.
