Good world build, after the door is other world, i like it, relaxing.
Thank you for playing
With a little more thought and love this could be a real gem. For a while I just ran around because it felt so good. This was fun!
Thank you
Loved it! Reminded me of games like Proteus, Abzu, that style of game that is super chill. I think you really nailed that vibe. Running around at high speeds is suuuper satisfying. Especially when you run off a mountain and you go flying, man it feels good. Those lines that appear while running were a nice addition. The music is super chill too and fits the theme perfectly.
That said, I do think that it's a bit lacking in other departments. There are no collisions, which is fine with things like trees since there are so many (though that depends on design), but having nothing is too little. Maybe you could have rocks with collision, because if there's nothing, it really just boils down to running wherever or directly towards the door nonstop.
On one side, I really like the map layout. As I said, running off mountains and flying around, going through the trees and besides lakes is really good. The problem is that passing through the door doesn't take you to a new level, just changes the color palette of the same one. So while it looks different, to the effects of what we think of it it's the same really.
I would also recommend to add something else for players to find! I explored for a while trying to see if there was something, until I fell through the floor and called it off. Having something that pushes players to explore is super nice in these kind of games.
I really think you got something going on here though! Running around feels good, jumping as well. If you had more levels, and other things to find, this could turn out as a really good full game!
Thanks for Playing. and also for the feedback
While the running felt satisfying, the overall game was underwhelming. If the trees had colliders, the running would be more challenging. The emission was way too high in some environments.
Thanks for playing.
I enjoyed the dreamy vibe, but the proc-gen isn't working. Maybe you are randomizing on the same seed every time? I think this could have potential as an endless runner game. I'd have enjoyed running through a dreamscape. Still, it was en enjoyable experience. Good job! :)
Thanks
Really relaxing game. The environment is absolutely gorgeous, though it does get quite laggy while the game is procedurally generating more of the environment. In my opinion, the game just needs optimization and something to encourage more exploration of the world. Maybe some minigames like a short race track. It's amazing that you got the procedural generation working well in a week. Must've been really tricky and took forever. Keep it up !
Thank you , the procedural generation is really simple just changing the height map.
Chill game, could run around for hours! Amazing visuals too!
Thank
There was something about jumping off those giant mountaintops with the soundtrack that reminded me of some wonderful dreams I've had in the past. The atmosphere was super relaxing. :) thank you for creating this!
Thank you for playing.
Nice graphics, though unity WEBGL can't seem to handle them very well, and a very calming atmosphere. My only real issue with it is that it doesn't actually seem to be generating anything other than a different color palate when I go through the door, and I'm a little confused as to whether that's just all there is, or if something wasn't working right. Overall though, it was interesting to play, so I think it was a good experience!
Thank You for Playing my Game.
The procedural generation is not quite working right
Good game, atmospheric music, could you please rate my game (https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2536045)?
Positives:
1. good design
2. atmospheric music
Negative aspects:
1. Small amount of FPS (7-30fps) when looking towards the forest, I have a computer with almost zero graphics memory
2. It is possible to go outside the world boundary and fall off the map
P.S. due to the fact that I have a weak computer, I was not able to play further
Thank You for playing.
Sorry that I could optimize the game better for low end deivces.
environment and graphics are amazing !
Thank you
Your game's graphics look great!
Cool world design, but there isn’t much to do in the game besides running from point A to point B.
Just wondering, is the world procedurally generated?
Good job in finishing and uploading for this jam.
Thank you for playing my game.
The environment and music are good
Thank you
