You've got a good basic start to a game here! Maybe the next step would be to add a timer. And after that maybe sound effects when you click on a critter and when you put them in a box. Congrats on submitting something for your first game jam!

Really lovely artwork and music! I enjoyed playing this. Well done!

Wow, great artwork and music! It's amazing you were able to  make 4 characters. Overall, I really enjoyed playing this. Well done!

This is a fun stealth game! The bear's animations are really charming. Overall well done!

Fun game! I enjoyed yeeting the creeters! Also it was fun to pretty much wreck everything in the rooms. Overall well done!

This is a great looking game. Well done! I had fun breaking everything. The jumping mechanic is interesting, if it was just a little bit faster it might feel like more of a smooth experience. I tried it with the simplified jump and it still feels just as challenging without the jump meter. Overall this was a fun experience!

Oh no! Not the killer bunnies! I liked the idea of being able to build walls to make the critters choose a different path. Good work!

Fun gameplay! I've got to say when those green slimes team up they are really tough! I thought the left and right mouse buttons to move left and right was interesting.  Overall, well done!

Fun game! I dig all the pixel art. Even after playing it for a while, I kept forgetting what could hurt me and I kept trying to jump onto things that were in the background. Overall a fun game with some great artwork and music!

Fantastic game! The low poly characters are really charming. I did notice the stuttering at first, but in general the game was very smooth once things were fully loaded. The flies are really tricky to defeat. I found that if I hopped up on something I could manage to hit them, but I think I mostly died from fly-related deaths. Overall great game!

What a fantastic game! The art direction is really beautiful. The animations and characters were all very charming. I felt like the battles get too difficult too quickly, I felt like I was managing my health and reviving critters a lot at first. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Well done! Good luck in the jam!

Beautiful game! Interesting concept to have pieces slide in from all sides. I love the ominous/creepy feeling that the music gives. Would love to see more levels and more critters in this game! Well done!

This game is fantastic! At first I didn't realize that I needed to keep clicking the mouse. I was clicking it once and the tongue just went up in the air a little bit and came back down, but as soon as I figured it out, I had a blast. I remember thinking, "Oh my goodness, is that a UFO?!" Haha, this is a lot of fun. Congrats and good luck!

This is a lot of fun! I had fun trying to intercept the critters who were after the bait with my cages. This is a fun twist on a tower defense style game.  Good luck with the jam!

I like the idea of mixing 2D and 3D. This was really tricky! I still haven't beaten Goliath. I give this another go later and see if I can beat my best! Good luck in the jam!

What fun! Congrats on putting together a character creating system for the jam! I did something similar for mine where I made critters with randomized features. Good luck in the jam! Your critters making a mess made me chuckle.

What fun! Congrats on putting together a character creating system for the jam! Big Juicy Marty made such a mess! Oh no!

Thanks for playing! It was a lot of fun to make. Also, you read my mind, I just updated the game with WASD and arrow controls!

This is really well done! I enjoyed playing it. I thought you deserved a video review! Good luck on your future game dev journeys!

Well done! I really loved the creepy creatures that hid when I'd get close. I think you really nailed the itch horror game style. Would love to see a story or more quests in this environment. Overall a great spooky game!

Thank you for the kind words. I struggled with the concept of this game when I was about halfway through it. I think I would to incorporate more of a puzzle aspect to completing the levels, maybe some power ups too. Anyhoo, thanks again for checking out my game!

haha! maybe if I rework the game I can say "based on a true story" ... Thanks for checking out my game!

I'm glad you liked my game, and thanks so much for checking it out!

Thank you for the kind words and for checking out my game!

Too true!...  the gifs really go a long way to explain what the game is about. When I'm sleep deprived and trying to finish a game before the deadline, it's easy for me to just upload some animated gifs than it is to try to type up a couple paragraphs explaining the game. :D

Really well done! If you told me when I was 15, that somebody would be able to make something like StarFox in less than a couple days, that would have blown my mind.  I really hope this is something you're interested in expanding. If you wanted to get more mileage out of one level, you could maybe have the ship repeat it's loop through the level, maybe there is an addition goal to collect a certain number of stars or gems or something, and you keep looping back along the same path until you get them all or before a time limit or something... Anyhow, overall, this is a really fantastic looking game, well done!

This is pretty satisfying. I think it might be more of a challenge if the amount that you move the sun up with each set of matching tiles was a smaller distance on the screen. I feel like I'm able to keep the sun up and not really worry about getting very big exponents. Overall, this is a really neat concept, would love to see it expanded on.

This is a really great concept. It's really challenging given that the number of ways you can move goes up exponentially with each turn (pun intended). Overall, well done!

What you've created here is really fantastic! You should be proud of your efforts. I really enjoyed playing it and thought it deserved a full video review. Good luck on your future game dev journeys!

It's great that you were able to get 3D character animations up and running in a game in less than 48 hours! I found myself leaning towards using the laser all the time. Overall, well done for a jam game!

I had a lot of fun playing this game! It's simple but addicting. It has a very satisfying gameplay loop. I felt like it deserved a video review. Overall, well done! I wish you luck on your future game making journeys!

This concept is great. I think you could really expand on this and make an amazing game.  Great work for only 4 hours. Here are my suggestions if you continue to work on it: Right now it feels a little bit easy, but I think that could easily be fixed by having less cards on screen, making the cards faster,  and making the time slider deplete faster.  Some sort of  score on screen would help add to the experience. Also, right now you can juggle cards, by moving them up and "saving the for later," it might be interesting to see how this game would play if you were only able to put cards in your hand, and if you wanted to discard a card, it would snap back to it's original trajectory. Anyhow, overall this is a fantastic little game, well done!

I enjoyed this! It's actually pretty challenging. At first I didn't understand which feature I was supposed to select, I started off by selecting the feature that was different, not the feature that most animals shared. Overall, fun game!

Here's my entry for the Kenney Jam 2025 game jam. In my game, you have to drive a giant Power Mower around town mowing down all the buildings. Mow down all the buildings before your power runs out! You can refill your mower at power stations around town. Find just the right route to hit all the buildings and power stations! I made this game using Kenney and Kay Kit assets in less than 40 hours! Here's a link to a gameplay video of Town Power Mower:

I like the art style! I know this is the calm before the storm, but I wouldn't mind all the customers coming in and demanding food! Overall, well done!

This is a fun game! I chuckled at some of the food he has to fight, I liked the cute art style. Overall, well done!

I'm not sure what to do. I click on the green bar and objects appear. If I click on the object, it appears in my inventory. I click on the booth that says "trade" on it. I drag the objects over to the left, I click Deal or Cancel and nothing happens. Sometimes when I click an object on the left, I see a message that says "the visitor disagrees." I've restarted several times, but most of the time that I do the steps I've listed nothing happens.

Nice art style, but I don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing.

Interesting concept. I like the style of the graphics and the design of the monsters. It looks like things are a bit unfinished. The idea of being able to control the villagers is a neat idea. Maybe if you could just select on the screen where you want them to go it would be easier to control?

Right now, I don't know which number is associated with which location on the level, so I don't know which number to select without trial and error.

Good luck to you!
