You did a good job setting the mood and atmosphere. So scary! If you wanted to add something without adding any more assets, you could have the doors close or even open on their own. It was easy to tell where I had been because I could see what doors were opened. This has potential! Good job on putting together a 3D game in less than a week!

Good audio sets the tone of the game well. Horror dungeon crawler is a good idea for the theme but there's not much to do other than opening the doors.
Fun atmosphere and it worked well, but I wasn't sure what I should do to play better or worse. I just kinda opened doors. I think some clearer goal, or more to "do" would make it a little more fun to play. But nice atmosphere, and design. Well done.
Good luck with the jam.

this game is interesting, the atmosphere is so good and sounds are so well made!
WOW nice game I played like 3 seconds of it because I have a weak heart.
my high score is 5, in 3 tries B-) i thought it was a pattern but i guess it’s random, got spooked
The mouse getting outside the game window, and putting full screen drop my fps make it not comfortable to play.
The audio: It fit well with what you done, it set an atmosphere, nice job for this. The visuals are ok.
Gameplay ( I know you've focus on audio don't worry): The random game-over is a problem, mainly because you can die fast, very fast you can literally die at the very first door, in few runs it happened 2 times. And actually the gameplay is to open doors waiting for the game-over screen, it's not very fun cause you don't really have control on your score.
All rooms are empty, with empty rooms and with fast random game over, it become very less scary cause you know already what will happen and less entertaining cause you know very fast whats behind the doory ou will open.. Adding sometimes suprises like sounds, items or monsters would be more fun.
When the door hand is in the right side the door open player side pushing him. I suppose you have only one animation for the door and that's why it happen depending of the side you come, but it would be better if everytime the door opened at the opposite side of the player like if he was pushing it.
Well overall, not bad for a first time in 3D.
- yeah totally right, now I know what's the use of Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.Confined/Locked/None; But for the downloadable game it's totally right
- audio: Thanks! I spent good amount of time for the atmosphere
- Gameplay: yeah true, unfortunately I spent the last 3 hours in making the gameplay, which is a no.1 Beginner's fault I think. Also y mistake that I tried to make the game huge, instead of making it simple + fun
- yeah I didn't do for both sides because I didn't want to add more collision boxes to it, but yeah it's better to be 2 sides of course
- Thanks! next one will be way more better promise :)
I'm really sorry but u achieved your goal of scaring me. The sounds were too much for me. Opened 2 doors n noped the F outta the game. Jus shows how well designed it is good job .
Pretty awsome !
Please rate my game too : https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2535873
Thank you for your first time to participate in the game Jam successfully submitted works! As you say, during the game I was affected by the sound effects and I was always on guard at every door, but death came to me without warning. Maybe the game mechanics could have been made more obvious?(ง •̀_•́)ง
Congratulations on finishing your first game! Like others have already said, it would be good if there was some way to intelligently avoid death.
Good start for your gamedev journey. Visual effects look good, although it's a bit weird that it rains inside. Or is it some kind of open roof building? Anyway, great job.
