How does your game fit the theme?
The main puzzle mechanic is that doors can act either as portals or as regular doors + other puzzle elements :0

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code and art were made by myself except the base portals code, which is made by Sebastian Lague and MIT-licensed, and the base fps controller, which is made by Dani.

excellent puzzle!

Everything is fantastic! there are some simple glitches and I needed to restart the whole game to be able to play again some level, but overall, Great Job!

I wonder if you're Lebanese or from the middle east

Developer(+1)

Thank you! If you could give me examples of the glitches you experienced, i would appreciate it.

 Also, yes, I’m Jordanian :)

Easily 10/10. Great puzzles, great movement mechanics, great graphics, awesome audio design. Can't believe such a polished game was made in a single week.

Need more of the same, more puzzles :D

Developer

Thank you so much!!

One more thing, the game needs performance fixes, portals are very unoptimized.

Developer(+1)

Yehh you're right. Thanks for the heads up.

I like this feeling of liminal space! Quite interesting trying to solve these puzzles :)

Developer

Thank you! I love liminal space as well :)

Really good concept. Like the blend between backrooms, portal and.. stanley parable? Nice puzzles overall.

Developer

Thank you!

It was fun and seems quite polished you got  some good puzzles here.

At level 3 when you crouch, your character is clearly under the wall, I didn't saw the slide popup so i was confuse.

Also if you crouch near the wall you sligthly go under the wall even if your not moving, so you can "cheese" the level without sliding. I feel like there no need to slide, you could just make people crouch in this case.

Could be good to have a way to check for controls, like I missed the slide and drop popup at first, so i struggled to find how to do these actions.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Good points.

I had to restart at the puzzle, where you fall down to a single door and find a key, as the portal wouldn't activate in certain combination. But loved it nonetheless! The visual design, particles and smooth portal mechanics making it enjoyable.

Hope you make a full game out of it 😄

Developer(+1)

Ah that happens if you close the first door before dropping down 😅.  Thank you!

I just finished the game and found a funny bug:

I managed to trap myself in level 5, by throwing a cube through an unlit portal onto the button - the portal then lit and I couldn't escape anymore! Since the portal was on I could only wander between two rooms with nothing but the (locked) exit! xD

Developer

i would call that intentional game design xD

Really polished and fun to play!
We had similar ideas indeed 😉

Wow, incredible! The graphics, sound design, and on top of that the puzzles, definitely the best game I played so far! I actually imprisoned myself twice in the 4th level, but thx to the restart button, no problem

Thank you so much !!

My first idea for this jam was actually something very similar, but I couldn't get the "portal mechanic" looking seamless enough, so I scrapped that idea and made something else. Great execution from you, though. Loved the Portal-like vibes and the atmosphere overall; sounds are great and very fitting. Puzzles are fun, nailing the line between challenging but not too hard. Overall, a very polished project. I only noticed some small things, like the keys clipping through the walls, for example, but that would be a quick fix if you decide to come back to this. Really glad someone made a game like this, as I also thought it would fit the theme very well. Great job.

Developer

The portals don't even display post-processing:,) they can be much smoother if that is fixed. Good point about the clipping. Thank you for the feedback!

Very nice portal-like vibes, great job! For some reason the portals are slowing my pc.

Developer

Each portal has its own camera and shader and all... there is an option for fast graphics. Thanks for the comment :)

Nice :)
