Excellent puzzle design. Nailed the theme. Probably the best from this jam that I've played so far. The player sticking on the sides of walls is my only complaint. I remember fixing a similar issue  in a 2D game but I'm not 100% sure it's the same problem here. Nevertheless, well done. Your team should be super proud!

Nice game! Takes me back to strafe jumping in quake or maybe some counter strike surf maps. I like that style of gameplay and I really like the easter eggs and the varying atmosphere in some of the levels. I struggled to beat level 5 & 7 and gave up on 8 :'(. I tried for a while to get the easter egg on 7 but gave up in favor of beating the level. I like the momentum building and the timing but I found it frustrating when you feel like you nailed it but your jump just barely wasn't high enough and you clip the front lip of the next platform. Maybe if your jump height was just half a float higher or something. Also I would have loved if you could press 'R' to reset as well. Anyways, super addicting and platforming is always a fun challenge. Thanks for the game, keep up the good work!

Takes me back to 2D zelda dungeons. Nice work on the puzzle design.

One of the more fun games I've played this jam! Nailed the theme. The gameshow/host vibe worked out great. I especially loved the bee keeper clothes the dino gets as addons. I liked how the bees couldn't fly over the blocks but they could fly over the gaps. That made for some really interesting chase moments. The steam attack was brilliant, rewarded you for timing and positioning the steam just right. The length and scope of the game seems like a sweet spot. I don't have much constructive to say, maybe the pool/water art could have used a lil something, it kinda stuck out, but the rest of the art looked great. Nice work, very impressive!

Super fun! Really nice job on the spell mechanics. I'd love to make some spells just like these one of these days. Graphics and animations are really good, feels right. Sounds and music would make a big difference. The procedural generation works great and is impressive. Maybe could have forgone the procedural generation in favor of time spent on sounds, but the generation is really cool and turned out great so I get it.

Thanks for the review! I fleshed the game out a bit more. Made it so that you drop your bait if you hit the wall too many times and added some levels. I also updated those islands to have a little bit of story/content. Really appreciate you playing our game!

Ahh great idea! I just added a simple dialogue for petting the dog. Thanks for that idea! Really happy to hear you finished the game. I made a bunch of other updates/improvements and generally fleshed it out. Would love if you gave it another look! Thank you for the review.

I really appreciate the thorough review. I've fixed the names corresponding to the right fish and hooked them up to the aquarium so that you can see your progress. We had a few more levels ready to go that I didn't get a chance to make the original cut. I got those other levels in and I added a way to lose your bait and fail the game to add some challenge but it could still probably use a little more challenge I think. Updated the animations for the intro scene. Fixed boat going on land, had to generate physics shape for the texture (was only a problem for the sand texture). Your review was a great help, thank you!

Small fish is a great idea. I added a way to lose your bait and the fish can run off with it. Thanks for the review. Scuba Steve's was one of my favorites in the whole jam!

Just released an update with different minigame levels and a mechanic to lose your bait to help with the monotony a bit. Thanks for the review!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! We had a few more levels that didn't make the original cut, but I've updated it and added a way to fail the minigame too.

Thank you very much! I've added a way to fail the fishing minigame and fleshed out a bunch of other stuff.

Dang. Sorry to hear about the bug but thanks for letting us know about it and for playing our game. We were able to reproduce by clicking on the basket. Added a warning to hopefully prevent others from experiencing it. We'll upload a fix as soon as reviews finish!

Thanks for the feedback and playing our game! We've fixed a handful of bugs since completing the jam and I've published an updated build. Among other things, I've fixed the multiple blue guys spawning and moved the skull a little bit closer to the skeleton to make it a little more obvious.

Hahaha. We might have to set player position before the race :) Thanks for playing!
EDIT: Fixed this by making the racoon not be collidable with the player during the race.

Our games have some interesting similarities, down to the very end! Enjoyed your game and it was fun to dial in my strategy.

Was easy to pick up and play, fun game!

Super fun game! I encountered a bug at the end and my score was zeroed out but I enjoyed playing and the cats are cute!

Activate (right click) the skull to pick it up and put it on the skeleton.

I just updated the dark text too, thanks for that! I had dark reader enabled and I thought it looked different. Thanks for playing our game!
EDIT: Moved the skull to be a little closer to the skeleton

Just added controls to the Install Instructions. Thanks!

Very well put together game! This game feels complete, with a little bit of everything. I enjoyed the clever puzzles and quality game design.  I appreciate that there was a minor plot to give purpose to the puzzles. Do you have any tips for creating an item interaction system like yours?

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! I checked out your game and you're right we had a lot of similar elements. I liked the item interactions and the depth of the story and puzzles in yours. Very impressive!

Pretty wacky! I like the strange objects. Feels like a dream. I woke up Herald and couldn't restart and had to alt f4, but I was able to beat it after restarting.

Super well thought out and amazing creepy vibe! Great execution. I loved the ketchup. I coulda done with a few less pickups maybe, or compress all the unique moments into fewer levels.

I thought it was hard to tell whether or not I was  making progress. I like how you have to use your gravity ability sparingly. I found it to be smooth, straight forward, mostly bug free, and fun. Nice job!

I had fun! The song is so perfect. I love all the different NPCs. I loved the dog and the cat that follow you but I was confused on if they would actually help me or not lol. The fact that the level and runes are different every time is quite the trip. Definitely a fun game loop that you could keep playing even if you've already beaten it. I think the difficulty was about right for a single level. Great atmosphere. Maybe the random props in the spawn area feel a lil out of place. This is a good one!

Thank you!! The objective is to escape the room :) the front door is locked with four lights next to it. As you find keys inside the apartment, the lights ding and illuminate. Find all four keys to escape. I think we probably could have made that more clear and provided more direction.
