i love the concept of the game your game is fantastic i love it
keep it up dude!
Great work! Impressive amount of controls and content for such a short time! I did feel it could have been shorter - for example just finding hidden stuff over and over, arranging all the dice (first with the wrong assumption of what would be the correct numbers and then again with the right ones) and throwing the basket ball. Don't get me wrong, I liked all the different aspects, I just think the game would gain from a quicker pace with less of each thing. But this is really focusing on the details! Amazing atmosphere with both graphics, sound, voice acting and story!
Nice take on the Theme, well done.
I really like this game! The graphics and gameplay are amazing.
Really well done. The only thing I'd say is that it was sometimes a bit difficult to see how many items I had to find, but I'm mostly just saying that because I didn't pick up on anything else. Interesting to know if you continue with this after the jam or not. Could be cool to delve further into the story.
Very well put together game! This game feels complete, with a little bit of everything. I enjoyed the clever puzzles and quality game design. I appreciate that there was a minor plot to give purpose to the puzzles. Do you have any tips for creating an item interaction system like yours?
I really like the dream "world" color scheme and the whispers.
Impressive as the "ghost" said.
Really awesome game :) The riddles are really good, just got lost with the dice part but figured it out ;)
It's very polished and good designed!
I also like that you can mess around a lot xD
Really well put together game and love the colour scheme - would appreciate a rate back :) thanks
Outstandingly polished. For 7 days work I don't even think I can fault it, honest opinion.
Great puzzle architecture, gripping story and visually distinct.
Awesome job :)
First Impressions:
-UI was a bit odd. The colors or the shape of it.
-I love the BGM and SFX. Absolutely matching the vibe.
-I love the core mechanics where you hold, throw and have to crouch to pick up stuff
-I love short and simple quests.
-UI below with the shortcuts made it so much easy to learn the game.
Quite an innovative gameplay! This needs to be a fully finished game!
I had a blast playing this game! I enjoyed a lot going around looking for the objects, but you still managed to let me ball and roll dice with 2 new mechanics on top of it!? I don't think I've thrown a basketball in this whole jam, and I didn't see many dices other than the ones I coded :P The graphic part of it is phenomenal and the same goes for game design. Very good job!
Amazing work! It's rare to see a 3D game this polished - loved the way the game looked during the dream too. Solid puzzles too that made you feel smart. Good stuff!
Best game I've played in this jam. Already feels like the level of a finished product. I really liked that you guys mapped almost all the controls to the mouse. Wonderful sound design and music. Very well done. Congrats!
Okay. First, let's get that out of the way : I hate you for the tiny jumpscare. It's a small one, so it's okay-ish I guess, but I really, really, really hate them x).
Now, for the real review : OH MY GOD that was incredible. The atmosphere, the audio, the graphics, the music, the voice acting, the experience... Everything go together and tell the story so well, I really felt like that little children who see strange things at night. The growing music dissonance during the ending, making all the little simple actions creepier and creepier... That was just genius, a real example of how to set the mood in a video game (even if it ended by... You know what xD).
The level design is also fantastic. The room is a perfect playground and the fact that we can interact with everything really contributes to the ambiance. The puzzle difficulty was perfect, each level bringing something new and exciting, I really wanted to know what did the next night have for me during the whole playthrough ! Everything is so polished, for a 7 days jam, this is just incredible.
I have two minor complains, just two little things to keep in mind for your next game ^^ :
- The voice acting is really good, but being a non-native english, I would have loved some subtitles. With the echo of the "demon" or the muffled effect on the mother's voice, I didn't catch certain words ^^'.
- The mouse controls felt... Strange. Picking up and releasing an item with a different button felt a bit illogical. I think something like "LMB = pickup/drop, RMB = rotate, MMB = throw" would have been better. Or even copying the common FPS layouts, with the "E" key to pickup/drop, "left click" to throw, "right clic" to rotate.
But these are just two minor points, everything else is just perfect. Congratulations to the team, that was a wonderful experience !
That's so nice of you to say, thank you very much for the detailed feedback :)
I completely agree with you about the subtitles. I think if we'd had some more time this would have been a perfect addition to the game!
Incredible game with a nice "escape game" feeling.
Unfortunately I must admit that I am very disappointed not to be able to pet the cat! (:
5/5
Thanks for taking the time to play and we are happy you enjoyed :)
I really like the music and the atmosphere of the game and how the game was designed, great job!
This game looks incredible! You and your team have done an amazing job!
