Hi - Your game was great! The sound effects were really nice, and the enemies all looked derpy. I only got to the second level once(and got killed immediately) but it also looked cool. I think some of the levels should be other shapes, and not just a box.

Developer

I will think about it thanks! I recommend you try to go to level 2 again, there are 2 new enemies (1 big and 1 small) and of course the queen at the end

Super fun game! Gameplay was really smooth and enjoyed it a lot! I also really like the pixel art and love the wizard!

One thing I would have done is probably to add just a lil bit of screenshake to make hitting enemies even more satisfying and being hurt feel more.

But overall great game!

I really enjoyed your game!

I had only one problem, but it was quite a big one. Whenever I stood close to walls or doors, I couldn't shoot, because the projectile would instantly collide with the wall.

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah I know about it, I had changed the collider of the player to only be his bottom half after doing his attack and movement, And then never thought about fixing this issue

However it's only really a problem in the room with the walls

Edit:- I already played your game lol

Really cool game, I liked the dungeon design with the four doors and that you did so many levels! I couldn't work out how to get back to the shop page to get more health etc but maybe didn't get far enough to loop back to it. Would be cool to add some score page when you get to game over to see how you did, but probably tricky to fit that in the short jam time. Really good visuals with the wizard and so many enemies, Great job!

If you get a chance any feedback on my game would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Hi, I literally just played your game and was about to rate it, You can't go back to a room you left, the game destroys the room once you leave, only leaving the door

hi i wanna give some feedback on the graphics, im impressed with the pixel art on the main menu, but the maps could maybe use some variations to spice things up abit.

Developer

Apparently my game doesn't run on Mac, sorry for the misslabling

Loved the level design, excellent game, maybe you could have improved the sounds a little, and i really loved that moving game title, it really added a nice touch and nice color combination!

Developer

Thanks man

I really like that it is simple but also very addictive! I am not a big fan of music but that’s personal view! I like the RNG shop idea which you’ve mentioned in comments I did not come across one, but maybe i will when I play it again haha

Developer

I know that the music isn't the best lol, I had to stitch something together since music is a voting category

I was actually shocked when people said they liked it

Submitted

hahaha it does fit to some extent which is the best part :)

Submitted

I thought it was really fun, I couldn't figure out what to do with my coins though

Developer

You sometimes get a store room where you can buy things, RNG can be a bit mean however and not give you one

Submitted

Ah I see :D Anyway, great game dude, I really liked it!

I really like the simple gameplay and progression of this game! The art and audio is very nice. This is a very good game! Great job!

I liked the overall aesthetic. did you make the music yourself? The only real critique I can think of is Id like to see some more different rooms and maybe a transition animation between rooms!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, also yes the music is by me

the game is so addicting for me. i really like the UI.  5 star for me. need some work on the music tho hehe.

I liked this game :) one problem that i found was that sometimes when standing close to a wall shooting would be blocked because the projectile would collide with the wall. This is not a huge issue but in the heat of the moment i was expecting shooting to work and then it did not ;p I killed one boss and i enjoyed that fight :) Keep up the good work :)

Developer

Yeah the fireballs can collide with the walls in the worst moments, which probably wasn't the best of ideas to keep in a game about shooting as little as possible

Really good game! The game felt nice and smooth to play, and there are a lot of great levels! The characters are cool and the boss is very well done! I like how you implemented a difficulty selection in the menu! Great game!

If you could play and rate my game aswell that would be amazing!

I liked this game! Its a simple fun shooter rougelike.

Although i am a bit frustrated. Sometimes when i shoot nothing came out because my staff is in the wall.

Spamming the fire button may be very "less is more" but dammit I had a lot of fun doing it!

Cool game!
