It's a fun strategy game that does require a bit of luck, but the idea is original and the art is really good. I liked it a lot!

Haven't done all the content yet, but wanted to leave a content so I don't forget. As usual, I am impressed at your speed for jams. Can't think of any real problems other than it was kinda hard to plan my routes in the ingredient gathering sections which led to a lot of wasted time. Maybe a zoom out or camera mover would help.
All the art is great and perfectly fits the mood being set. I am a big appreciator of horror content, and while this game isn't horrific, it had the vibes for what it was doing. This is probably a weird compliment, but the music you found for the game was also nice. Overall a really well made and well thought out game. Definitely gonna hop back in and try and get all the endings once the full post-jam update is out.
Some really good characters in this game. Ellie is a treat to interact with and all the additional characters are nice too (When is MoneyBoy side romance story???). The events did repeat very often, even at halfway through the game it seemed to be lacking in new events. Also I did too good on the shooting section, got 500 dollars, and all remaining worries of money disappeared.
In terms of the assets, everything is wonderful. All art is pretty and lends itself to a distinct style that's done well. The music is good as well. I saw that it was made for the jam and not from a pack and that actually surprised me because of how good it was. As others have said, it'd be nice if the stats had more weight or affected things more, but the game was still nice. Good job!
This game is dripping with your style through and through. Really enjoyed it.
I kinda did just walk around till I got a good enough hint. It was hard to know how to effectively use the book, but it did come in handy a little bit.
Once the rest of the game is finished I'm definitely coming back to it. I liked the gameplay premise and all the art is wonderful! P.S. The green screen was 100 percent worth it :)
Short, but incredibly polished! Only "flaw" of the game is that it isn't too balanced, with some moves being super powerful and other being near-useless. But that also kinda fits the super hero theming with heroes pulling some new BS move to win every battle, so it didn't bother me much.
I kinda love Nova tbh, when does the action figure come out? With real squishable action! All the designs and sound design are delightful and it goes without saying that the varied animations are great. I am greatly looking forward to the finished version!
Played up until the glitched area with the beach. Probably doesn't need to be said, but I think most wall had no collision and just let the player walk through anything. But I never found any game breaking issues with this.
I was surprised with how much story there actually was, I can see how you didn't have time for testing everything. All the writing was really nice, and I like how the game seems to encourage failing to increase growth. Most games don't get the "lose to get more scenes" thing right but it works well here. Unless I misunderstood and was playing the game wrong :) Looking forward to the final version once upload restrictions are lifted.
You mentioned in your comment how doing everything took too much time and was a struggle. Yes, yes it is, lol. I do hope it didn't deter you from future development, because what you said about learning it definitely true. Every frustration can lead to learning, and hopefully you can take what you've learned and expand on it with an update or future project.
This game is one that I am greatly looking forward to after the jam. The art was nice and the premise is definitely one of my faves. I also like the scavenger hunt gameplay, it's a neat use of the theme. Once the bugs are fixed and the rest of the features added, I'm definitely coming back to this one.
At first I thought the game was too floaty, but I got used to it and it ended up being pretty fun. Had a few hard parts where if you let someone off at floor 5, then your weight goes down and you need to worry about slamming into the ceiling. Tough, but it seemed fair as I had no BS deaths once I figured things out. Also, I believe the volume slider isn't converted to log 10, or something along those lines. It didn't make things quieter, but it made them MUCH louder.
Of course, all the art is wonderful. I love all the little chibi art as well, no part of the game looked bad. Story was funny and fit the theme perfectly. I'd ask what you plan to add post-jam, but I already think the game is very good at what it's trying to do and can't think of much I'd want added. It was fun, was a nice challenge, and had a cute girl inflating. A+!
Fun idea that's actually implemented well. As others have said (many times) the camera caused some issues. The game should either have a standard first-person controller with a locked mouse, or it should lock the camera straight ahead and leave the mouse free. Either would work. Only other large note is that I wish the assembly area wasn't so far to the right, having everything shifted more center would have been a bit nicer.
Despite the issues, I enjoyed the art and would love to see this more fleshed out.
Reached the end of the content. The idea of keeping all bars good is ok, but works better with quick turn. Removing the walk time in the eating scenes would probably help speed things up. I had similar bugs as others. Theater would lock me into the dialogue, saying no to buying citadel inn room sent me back to area 1, etc. I also had a bug where when I interacted with the citadel gate 1 spot to the right of the center, it locked me into an animation and I had to restart.
Game definitely seemed to suffer from too many features which slowed dev time. I hope you had fun making it though, the characters were cute and I liked where the story was heading.
Incredibly fun! Only thing I was confused about was the meter in the bottom left. It didn't seem like it did anything and I couldn't make it run out when I tried. Got to around 18k I think, and it was fun managing the ships to be efficient while trying to keep satisfaction up (even if it did nothing, lol). Writing was also very nice and helped set the world. Overall, really enjoyed my time with this.
I highly appreciate that you were fully honest in the review. All the points you made about the things that need to be improved are accurate, and I'm glad there were no bugs!
It's good to know that despite these problems the game was still entertaining, even if you had to find alternative ways to win, lol. We will definitely be using this feedback in an update, thank you again for the in-depth review
P.S.: Incase you were worried, all the English in the post is perfect. No misspellings or strange phrases at all :)
Doesn't use the theme too much but that's ok. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but based on your profile this seems like one of your first projects. If so, this is not bad! There were no bugs and I appreciate the use of royalty free assets as you didn't have an artist helping you. Thank you for making this and I hope you had a good time!
Very pleasant game. Characters were definitely more unique than others and the art was good! I would say to change from Nintendo music in a future update, Nintendo is not very nice with their stuff. Only issue I found was when I was using the mirror (I believe at the 3rd size) the darkened background wouldn't go away until my next size-up and it made the whole game darker. Other than that, fun game!
Absolutely superb! The gameplay was involved enough to sell the experience and lets everything else make the game shine. The writing was practically perfect and all the art was cute, especially the ending. I was also in love with the music, it fit the game very well. Surprised this was a jam game with how well it turned out!
Sometimes when trying to move vertically then horizontally, the character will snap to a spot and just not move at all. It's ok if there is no diagonal movement, but the snapping was causing a few problems. If it's not doable in the engine then that's fine, the game worked with it. But if it is doable, I think fixing it would make the game feel better.
Played till the model broke and then played a bit after that, lol. Pretty fun game and a good use of the theme. I agree with others that the randomness can sometime be a tad unfair, but I think that's part of the fun. Had to really think it over before accepting a competition. Adding the overfull explanation like I've seen mentioned on other comments would be a great idea. Good game :)
Wanted to make a post and ask about the status of the jam with the Itch changes. Currently, NSFW games are de-listed, but people think it's quickly going to lead to a complete ban on NSFW.
Is the jam going to continue normally, or is it going to be hosted from somewhere else? I know itch is the best for jams with all the quality of life features, but it's not the most secure at the moment.
Very fun game! Glad to see the full release and see so many new faces in the Bistro. Did have a bug where I grabbed the food too fast and couldn't set it down at the customers table. It locked me from doing anything else, so I lost the run. Even though that happened, I found the game really fun and enjoyed the challenge!
Hello, I'm Muck! While I originally planned on doing this jam solo, I don't want to ruin the chance to work with cool people!
My program of choice is Unity. Most hobby work I've done is in that. Because of that, I have decentish programming skills and a knowledge of general game-engine use that I can apply to Unreal or Godot if necessary. I can 3d model in Blender, but mostly just objects and textures. I could maybe pull a 3d character model out of my ass if I had a reference, but it's spotty.
Other miscellaneous skills: Novice at Krita, Novice at 2d Art, Novice at Twine, Novice at FLStudio, Decent at writing, Decent at VR Development(in Unity, but it's been a bit)
