The character felt slow in moving around, but the controls were easy enough to get the hang of. On many occasions I was expected to throw my shard to places I couldn't see, but there were never enemies or anything unexpected if I threw the shard offscreen, either, so it felt forgiving for a platformer with only one life. However, it felt really good to play these levels, especially if you thought of them as early levels of a larger game (that obviously couldn't be made in such a short time). Also, good job delivering the atmosphere; the visuals and music worked well together.

Wow! Looks super polished (you even have an edge-wobble animation!!) and I love the unification of common necessities into a single versatile tool (/verb?!)

As others have mentioned, I think it needs a slightly different control layout for tighter platforming (perhaps two sticks and then the triggers for jump and throw??), but I can definitely see the mechanic being extended to a full-release puzzle-platformer full of interesting challenges! Would love to see more!

Oh my god this game is so fun. I love the look, and controlling the shard is endless fun. I just wish a) there was a whole game, and b) that there was a way to restart the level if you lose your shard and can't reach it again.

Fun concept! I got hit while aiming and could no longer move but all in all i like it. I like  how the crystal throw gives you a second jump. I hope you make it to the finals!

I ended up spending a while speedrunning this! My best time was about 47 seconds :) Would love to see more!

It was a bit laggy on HTML5, and not having the jump button mapped to the "UP" key felt a bit off, but other than that it's such a good game! At first I didn't think it was related to the theme at all, but once enemies started showing up, I understood.

This game is awesome, I feel like with some tweaking to the player controller this could be made into the full game. So many possibilities and puzzles. great art and sound too. Sometimes I found myself pressing the wrong option on the menu though after I died.

Cool game, I love the art! If there were some sound effects this could be a very atmospheric game... Anyways, it's a fun game, however I found the character a little hard to control, especially when aiming the shard as it wasn't quite clear where it was going. In any case it's a very polished and well-made game, and I like the concept a lot. Good job, both of you! :D

Also I would really appreciate it if you checked out my entry for the jam, Sheepherd Dog. Thanks in advance! :)

Nice game, love the art.

But I would definitely not keep the main action button on Enter, it just doesn't feel right. An aiming feedback would also be cool. If you are targeting action-paced games then maybe make the game faster ? The character feels a bit heavy at the moment.

Otherwise great game!

Amazing game! One of my favourites! Kudos to the developers! The angle of the teleporting feather could use a little more work.

A very interesting mechanic but it wasn't enough explored. The obstacles in most rooms were easily skippable. Beautiful graphics though.

loved the sounds and visuals :D

looking forward to post jam update!

Impressive and fun, I really love that game mechanic that makes for you thinking the optimal way to get from A to B :)

Impressive work! The game was super fun to play. Loved the pixel art and sound. As other have said, I'd suggest changing the shard control from Enter to something closer to something else.

Would really be interested to play this if you ever do a full release.

I ran into this weird bug, where the etherium shard abandoned me for some reason. (Restarting the level fixed it).

Amazing game and beutiful artstyle, but I do think that the character is a little floaty. I would really like to see this game grow.

A great game, the mood is fantastic and eerie, the mechanic is interesting and there's a lot of potential with the concept. I could see this doing very well if it gets fleshed out more.

Cool mechanics! What I like the most is that you teleport to your projectile so you need to think carefully where to throw it unlike many other games with "one bullet" mechanics. Controls are a bit slow (I played in browser), but idea is great. Good job!

Awesome artwork, sounds and idea!

The character was a bit too floaty for my taste. I think it makes the game too easy! I expect to fail at least once if I'm playing any kind of platformer!

Overall its a very pretty game! If it had like 4-5 hours of content I would gladly give some money to buy it.

Thank you for making this game!
