One of the best games I tested so far. Nice concept, nice execution, nice art.
Animations have a really rewarding feeling, love the dagger throw and teleport flow.

If I may, I'd suggest a 'recall dagger' key (which could be abused, maybe not optimal) or at least a dagger respawn when lost. Lost my dagger once in spikes, and disappeared once. Forced to restart.
The soundtrack volume could use a few percents increase.
Movement feels a bit sluggish as well. More on this :  Why Does Celeste Feel So Good to Play? | Game Maker's Toolkit
And finally, it would make your game more accessible for AZERTY players with an alternate key for teleport. Since the layout is ZQSD instead of WASD, I was forced to use the arrows and enter with my right hand, which was not optimal. (maybe left shift ?)

But... you're game is great. It has Celeste / End is Nigh potential. I'd buy a complete version of it without hesitation.

p.s.: again, love your animations — feels awesome.

That was great, really interesting mechanic. Also graphically fantastic.

Really enjoyable game, although it would be cool if you could recall your shard at the press of a button, so you wouldn't have to teleport to your death after a bad throw, just an idea.

I hope this is getting turned into a full game at some point. It's wonderful.

Nice idea.

Clear It's done by a studio with good experience.

Great aesthetic and atmosphere! Could really see this as a start for something bigger, as it was so solid to play even now. Good job!

The idea is really brilliant and well executed. The visuals are really very nice, the level design is good. I love it. Good job =D

What a really cool game with a quite unique mechanic. I feel like this could be an awesome game for speedrunning if it was a bit expanded, because of all the cool throw, teleport throw combos you could do! A really solid entry!

I really like this game, it looks good and handles well,
this must be the most top rated game I've seen so far

It's remarkable game with such a good idea which made very well. Nice movement, good level design, smooth difficulty curve. I like it.

Mate, this is soooo good. Fun, inventive, looks great, and polished to perfection. It's got so much going for it. Can't wait to see some more content added.

It is great that you came up with a mechanic that is just fun to interact with. I liked the different situations you gave to the player and I feel you have more space to explore if you wanted to make this into a full game, it has a lot of potential!

Although it felt slow when I move but I loved that feel when I teleport.
Good concept, wished to see more levels. Loved the art! Keep it up!

I'm no expert at video games, but what I do know about are Yorkshire Puddings, and let me tell you mate, this is one very polished yorkshire pudding.

The controls are crisp as the outside of a yorkshire pudding should be, levels are layered as the inside of the yorkshire pudding should be and the feel of controlling the shard is very thick and satisfying just as the gravy should be that goes onto your yorkshire pudding.

Really impressed, had quite a lot of fun, I'm gonna give it 4/5 yorkshire puddings. Cheers!

Great match! Very cool mechanics. But in the end a bit too easy (well, I should not say that... hope for more levels after the jam).

This is amazing. Gorgeous style and also music. Feels great to play and very clever mechanic :)

Amazing for a 48 hour game jam! I especially like the teleport mechanic. I had done something similar in my game and it made much more fun to play. Keep up the good work!

Developer

wow! Just played yours and it was really quite similar, though I think they have pretty different play styles. Your game is so satisfying to play, getting multiple enemies at once feels real cool. Awesome work!

Dang, really glad this is getting the recognition it deserves!  The aesthetics are great but the gameplay really stood out!  Teleporting around levels was fun and felt great when making mid-air moves!  Congrats!

This game was excellent! The art and aesthetic of the game was great, and the game-play was very enjoyable. I was sad when it was over. The one thing that I slightly disliked, was that the character felt a little bit "floaty".

Although the movement was slow and floaty it let you do cool epic teleport tricks
