Looks good but please add a way to map control or add universal such as arrow keys. It so difficult when you don't have an qwerty keyboard
cool concept. however i got stuck and couldn't go up one of the ramps
Nice game, digging the 2d art in a 3D world. I do wish road was also looked like a that. Sadly I did not have anybody to play with and without an AI I think i was missing out on a bit of the fun.
Lots to like. The course is interesting and the multiplayer is always good in a jam. Unfortunatly no one else is here atm so playing alone felt a bit lacking. It really needed an AI. I want to use the power ups! I am not sure about the 2d car in a 3d space it felt a bit clunky. Over all I had an ok time.
The camera feels really stiff, but I love how the game looks and that you get to choose if you wanna use the powerups defensively or offensively.
Controls feel good, it was pretty fun to play.
The UI seemed a bit off, it was above my screen. I fell off the track and the cactuses didn't ave any collision.
The 2.5d style is really good.
Love the style. Game reminds me a bit of the game by Nitrome called 'flash cat'. The camera was a bit funky but otherwise this game has a lot of potential. Great job!
P.S. Making a web version that people can access online without download increases accessibility dramatically. 😊
When I went off a jump the game went sporadic.
The game is interesting to me but I don't see the "Multi Use" focus.
I love games with the 2.5D art style, so this one looks real adorable. The camera absolutely flips out when going up an incline which threw me off the edge multiple times. Also, since I don't have anyone to play with I was trying the single player and found that it was pretty empty with no real goal. Maybe an AI driver would be good to add?
Unfortunatly wasn't able to play with someone else so the game felt a bit empty by myself.
I liked the visual style. and there's a gound amount of bonuses in there.
Appart from a few collision issues & weird camera angle when you jump high the implementatio nis pretty solid.
good work :)
Thanks... It Seems As The Biggest Problem People Are Having Is The Camera Which I Am Very Sorry About... I Never Though It Would Annoy / Give People A Bad Feeling So I Didnt Mind Fixing It, I Understand Not Having Someone To Play With Is Sad, I Wanted To Add An AI Driver For Solo Mode But Due To School And Other Stuff Wasnt Able To... I'm Greatful You Still Enjoyed The Game :D
Very hard to control, I found myself constantly falling off the road and turning felt really slow. Also the camera wasn't the best when going up hills. Lastly while the option to help you or hinder your opponent is nice, there's not really a point if you play in one player if you don't have someone who will play with you.
This was pretty fun to try out. The art really hits that retro style like it would've been on the nintendo 64. I had issues with the camera when I started to up ramps that I couldn't see over, and when flipping over as well. Maybe have a offset position and lock rotation around the x or z axis angled slightly down above the player so that way if you flip over your whole camera won't rotate upside down with the car.
I couldn't test out much of the two player since I had no player two, the map design and environment was fun to run time trials on.
This was a fun one, it makes me wish I had someone to play two player with here. I liked the mario kart aesthetic with the items and it's pretty impressive to me you made a 3D game all in the jam period. I also liked the 2D sprites that fit well with the game. My only issue is the camera got really confusing when my car flipped, it got hard to tell what was going on but I guess that's how a car accident goes lol. Cool submission!
this game is very well made its truly amazing and like the rest I liked the 3D enviroment with youre beautiful pixel art the music is cool therefore I'll give you a solid rating :D
You made an interesting choice by combining a 3D environment with 2D Sprites for objects, backgrounds, and the car. I like it! It's quite unique.
The game itself is a bit rough around the edges. I managed to fall of the first track and there was some flickering on later tracks. But I think is you would polish it a bit, improve on some of the track designs and make the background a bit more interesting, it could be a nice little game.
Well done!
