Thank you! And it sure is. I've even put myself in weird situations before because sound effects will be one of the first things I start doing, even before the rest of the game is complete. I can't help myself, lol.

Thanks! And I agree with you, I think that's the main thing I'll focus on improving when everything's over. ^^;

Nice game! Really would have loved a score counter, and a little background music or ambiance. The art is very cute! And the game is fun. ^^

I had fun with this one. I like how the character thawing is used in multiple ways, both to represent the ever-decreasing health, and to use to your advantage.

Thank you so much! <3

Thank you! <3

I guess I really will have to look into that. I had a lot of similar sounding bugs while making it, but none of them had anything to do with the window, so I guess I'm stumped on that one for now. :/

I love love LOVE the art and all the cute little jelly guys! They're awfully picky on how they want their ice cream for someone who is literally dying without it though, lol.

I like the driving part, that's pretty fun. But during the part where you serve them, there are just wayy too many buttons for me to find and keep track of while the poor little guys are melting away. T-T

Cute little game! I really like the art style, cute and simple! Though maybe you could turn down the volume on some of the sound effects?

Such a cozy little game! The music is a nice choice (very chill, lol), and the art is nice on the eyes. Though, the character kept falling through the floor?

Why would you put so many lives in my hands, this was genocide. :0

Love the artwork and the music selection. Wish there was a little more of an indicator whenever an exit is coming up, otherwise, you'll easily blow right past them. Also, being able to see the room you're headed to on the mini-map would be great because you're not exactly given any time for hesitation.

I love the scooter, I get to go z o o m. Sometimes a little much z o o m, but z o o m none the less.

Very very pretty game, both looks and sounds very cool. But it's just way too hard to see where you're going, man. When I'm not falling off of things, I'm getting tripped up because the only time I get good enough visibility is when I'm not allowed to move. I see that there's a little bit more light each time the charterer takes a step, but that little bit of light doesn't really help if that step sends to plunging into the dark abyss. And sometimes it's very hard to have the patience to wait for the last of the little sound to fade away when your only little bit of light is fading with it. Still, very artistic and pleasant on the eyes and ears. I especially love how the face of the characters' portraits would light up on each note as the world did while you spoke to them.

I absolutely love the music! That would be my favorite part. But please turn the monster guy's volume down, it's so much louder than everything else, so if I ever wanted to turn my volume down enough for it to not blow up my ears, then the whole rest of the game would become practically mute at that point. It would also be cool if you had his volume adjust depending on how close he is to the player, because as it is now, his little "AYYYY"s aren't giving the player any information. There really isn't any reason to be scared of/worry about the sounds he makes because they don't mean he's close or anything. This game could also really benefit from a bit of background ambiance to make it feel a little spookier, and a little less sterile.

I also really want to compliment the monster's animation, particularly when he catches you, very spooky. :)

Adorable game, the artwork especially! The little character and his animation are so cute! I really like the game, but I wasn't able to finish it. I tried my best, but whatever kind of checkpoint system you had going on there drove me nuts. There were quite a few times when I would fall a great distance and not die. Then, whenever I tried to get back up, it would reset my checkpoint quite a ways back and I would essentially lose all my progress. This happened quite a few times before I decided to call it quits. :/

Alright! Let me know if there are ways I could make it easier/easier to understand. ^^

Hmm, that's interesting. I certainly didn't change the game between the times you played it, so idk what the issue would have been. :/

And no, that would have been cool for an ending, but it wasn't what I was going for. I just changed the font and the color to represent a different character writing the letter.

Thanks! There is an ending, it's after just under three and a half minutes.

Very neat little game! The controls are very slippery though, I wish I felt like I could control the character better. Love the chill music, and the sound effects aren't bad either. ^^

Thank you very much! <3  Can you describe the bug you got in a little more detail? Because there was one in particular that I thought I fixed, and it would be unfortunate to hear that it popped up again. ^^;

Thank you! <3

Phenomenal game! I loved every second of it; the art, the music, the story, the puzzles, awesome stuff! <3

This game is very hard to navigate, the controls on the keyboard are very clunky, and if I move with the mouse, the character practically flies across the screen. And it's very hard to see where I can and cannot go, as everything seems to have a hitbox that doesn't quite match up with the object. I'm always getting stuck on things, even when it looks like there's nothing in front of me. :/

The art is cute and charming, but very bare-bones, and the audio is very lacking. I do like how you added a detailed options menu for it all, but it really doesn't make much of a difference as there is very little sound in the game at all, and the sounds that seem like they're supposed to be there are either cutting in and out, or only playing some of the time. The lack of sound kinda leaves the game feeling sterile.

I also couldn't find a third key? The first two were easy, and it felt like you added multiple things that would lead to finding the third, but it seemed that no matter what I interacted with, nothing really came of it.

Very nice game! It's easy to pick up and understand immediately, and the feeling of panic and loss of control the second you start slipping is really effective. Pair that with a nice art style that makes the game stand out, and audio that really drives the point home, and you've got quite the nice little game! <3

Thank you so much for playing! <3  And thanks for recording the video, it helps me see how the game really plays from another person's perspective.

Do you have any more detailed feedback that you can share?

Love all the adorable artwork! <3 The lovely aesthetic really brings you back in time.

Love the atmosphere! A lovely little game, nice job! <3

Thank you! <3

Oh goodness, I didn't even realize the timer 'cuz the UI isn't scaled to screen size and I couldn't see it all too well, lol.

I guess I'll take another look at the furnace trigger to see if it got off-centered or something. :p

I love games with the 2.5D art style, so this one looks real adorable. The camera absolutely flips out when going up an incline which threw me off the edge multiple times. Also, since I don't have anyone to play with I was trying the single player and found that it was pretty empty with no real goal. Maybe an AI driver would be good to add?

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! ^^

Thanks! I think I will go in later and add health bars to things. I've had a lot of people bring it up, lol.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the feedback! The pylons do change color based on health, and they are what's making the powering down sound. I did use 3d sound for the spiders so if you had that you would be able to tell which side they've spawned on.  After reading people's comments I do think I'll add a health bar to the player and to the spiders when I get the chance, the player initially didn't have one because I ran out of time, but I hadn't even considered the spiders before, lol. Also, unless something's not working you don't have to be exactly at the port to screw in the light, just at the furnace.

Aw, thank you so much. <3

Thank you for the compliments and the criticism! I actually ran into that first issue when play-testing. I had tweaked the game a bit to prevent it but clearly I didn't do it well enough, lol. If I ever end up going back to the game after voting ends I'll be sure to work on fixing those issues. :)

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind. :)

The character art is so cute! The controls are really finicky though, and the audio is lacking.

I love this mechanic! Very creative! Definitely had fun playing it as it made for some fun and interesting challenges. My only critique is that sometimes it's hard to pick up the health bars once they've been put down, so making them a little less finicky would be an improvement. I also think it's pretty neat how you took art assets from a bunch of different places and made them all work so well together.

I like the music choice and the beautiful background sprites. It's way too hard to tell which lane you're in or to know what to avoid. One thing I think your game needs is some feedback when the player takes damage or gains a follower, because without it it's pretty hard to tell what's going on/how you're score is being affected without having to look for it.
