A cool game concept. This game may have benefitted from some music. Loved the application of the concept. Loads of games with powers leave them as a toggle rather than an action so this was a cool implementation.  The map did feel a bit spaced out at times though. Great job!

Rated this very highly. I can see the inspiration from Age of war. Though units may not attack sometimes, once that is polished out this game has potential to be a amazing upgrade to an old classic. 

Loved the creativity in this project. Sometimes I'd get stuck on the ground and certain objects but the tactile feel of playing this game is generally pretty satisfying. Great job!

I love this idea ahah. that's such a unique implementation. I wish the wrench locked into the bolts easier. This game has A LOT of potential to be very fun. Great job

Wow. Underrated game. This is not just one of the more unique implementations of the theme but it is a tightly made little game with consistent style. Take these well deserved 5 stars.

After confusing it for a shield I thought it might be some sort of power. Like to clear the screen or slow meteors and so I mashed a bunch of buttons to see if anything happened. Considering the music element it could be something intended to be used at certain points in a tune? Hope you find a use for it!

Love the style. Game reminds me a bit of the game by Nitrome called 'flash cat'.  The camera was a bit funky but otherwise this game has a lot of potential. Great job! 

P.S. Making a web version that people can access online without download increases accessibility dramatically. 😊

That was incredibly fun to sling yourself around at high speeds. The initial burst felt a bit finicky though I imagine that was the point. Perhaps giving 2 lives instead of 1 would encourage riskier flying against a timer. No particular negatives to be honest. Great job!

This game has a lot of of potential. I'm glad it is to be continued. I immediately loved the tactile feel of the fireball. The multi-use implementation is quite good. I was hoping for more content and level progression so I'm looking forward to future iterations.

A unique take on the theme. Could have progressed the level mechanics faster though that's more just nitpicking. Drinking water felt like want rather than a need. Overall a strong entry.

Wow loved the base concept. Art, music, sounds and scaling felt solid. More variation in enemies, character/item upgrades or plants would boost this game. Altogether one of the better submissions this jam!

oved the game concept. Very simple to pick up and get your bearings but a lot harder to keep up with the screen pan and varied gem placement. A good balance. 

Gem number goes into the negatives when selecting the bonus level for 5 gems. Also some music would have helped this piece greatly. Regardless a nice solid submission.

I love the game concept. Some music and different SFX would have pushed this submission higher but the game itself is a clear and satisfying puzzler. Great Job!

I tried playing the game but unfortunately it wasn't working in my browser (Brave browser). Hopefully its just an issue on my end

Game could have definitely benefitted from some music. the key gameplay and art was quite fun and engaging. some more sfx for the fire would make it more satisfying to shoot as would alternative powers (left/right click perhaps). Regardless, a solid entry.

love it. Personally found it quite difficult as the heat rose very quickly. I loved the concept and gameplay though. Can feel the intensity of choosing an action in a pressured situation.

A pure yet difficult game concept. The art reflects this clarity of concept well. the sun felt like quite a large obstacle rather than a resource as it could not be shot through. Considering the point is to shoot the sun perhaps starting with a bit more energy would help start off the game without compromising the key concept. Regardless a tight little entry.
