The game is pretty good! It's short but sweet. The pressure really got to me EVERY SINGLE TIME I got to the last 10 seconds where the buttons and text move around like crazy, my brain would just shut off and just press a random button.

Overall, pretty great game!

Developer

I understand that feeling, even after play testing it so many times, my first instinct when the game speeds up was to press a random button! Thanks for checking out the game!

A very polished mini game! Making the challenge time based rather than turn based makes for a great combination. Now it's not just a roll of the dice, but also making sure not to press the checkmark when getting a "Smaller than 1?" prompt, which I unfortunately failed to do. (:

The way the music changes based on the multiplier at hand, and the great sound effects makes for a pretty complete package. Not much to say to improve here, other than to perhaps add some local/global highscores!

Simple concept but very enjoyable! Well done!

The game is quite fun and enjoyable. I love the scoring system too.

I’m sorry, I said I would but actually I can’t check your game, since it’s for Windows only and I run on Linux. :/

Developer(+1)

Ah, that's fine! So sorry about that!

Pretty fun game! The art and the audio fit perfectly to the concept which is really simple to understand. Wish you best results!!

Love the aesthetic with those fluid animations and sfx. Concept is simple, but yet well polished and funny to play. Good submission!

Cool quick game witch nice arcade ambiance. I think this game has strong Wario Ware mini games vibes. Good job !

I appreciate the idea of having to quickly calculate chances, but the problem is, right now, it's just not worth it. Played three games, two normal ones and one where I just clicked on 'no' as quickly as possible and I easily got my highest score on the third game. Granted, some luck was involved in that, But I think it's also a problem that getting a lucky streak is much more probable the more often you roll and having a lucky streak is worth so much more points than having to spent time on optimizing decisions that are often only a 2/3 or even a 1/2 chance. (The observation that 'no' seems to be superior stems from the fact that 'equal?' is a thing, which will always be a 5/6 chance to get right).

A few possible suggestions to make this game more about the decisions:
- remove 50:50 calls. They just feel frustrating.
- possibly base your 'damage' on how likely it was to hit you. This will incentivize figuring out the 'correct' strategy and make unlucky fails feel less bad.
- keyboard shortcuts for yes and no. Having to spend time on moving your mouse to the right spot isn't something I want to do in this sort of game.

Presentation was pretty nice!

Developer

Thanks for the trying out the game! I agree with most of your sentiments, if I could redo this game, I would look to remove the 50-50 options as RNG already screws with us enough. Tweaking score gains/losses based on the likeliness of being correct is a really good idea too. Thanks for the fedback!

Fun, interesting, stressful.

Good work. Reminds me of the old flash game No Brainer.

Nice and enterteining game!

and really polished too!

It has a really punchy feel to it because of the sound and animations (it's possitive, hard to describe).

The only thing I don't really like are the prompts that only depend on chance (even/odd, greater than three, lower than four) because your actions don't have consecuences.

Otherwise, great game!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Actually, I have tried to skew most of the questions such that there is always a "better" answer, the only real true 50/50 is the odd or even one. I kept that in just to ensure the game multipliers does not go too high and just to provide a little bit of chaos. I understand how it might be frustrating though, I felt that plenty of times while play-testing it too! Do you think it would be better to just remove these 50/50 questions?

Submitted(+1)

I would say the randomness of the rolls is chaos enough. I think giving some control to the player would feel fairer and more compelling, and a higher score more rewarding, but in the end it is your game and your decision. Other people might feel differently.

If you want to remove these 50/50 questions, be careful because there are other hidden conditions, for example "Is the next roll greater than 3 (whether the 3 is fixed or was rolled in a previous turn)", as if I say yes, I win with 4, 5 or 6 and loose with 1, 2 and 3. The opposite is true if I say no. Something similar happens with lower than 4. Good luck!

Really nice game. I will for sure play it later as well

Really fun game. I love how the music goes faster and hypes you up when on a streak! I'm very proud of my 12800 highscore.

Very nice presentation! The gameplay is fun too, but it gets a little uninteresting after a few plays. Everything feels nice and juicy, especially the urgent low-time part at the end.

Submitted(+1)

I really loved the polish, effects, and the sound design was awesome. I loved how you were able to so strongly convey a sense of urgency at the end.
Highest I could get was 2300.

I like the fast and frantic pace that keeps you going and the way the music speeds up is a nice touch that contributes to this. The idea is a bit simple but the game gets a lot of mileage out of it. I wish there was a keyboard shortcut for the yes and no buttons.

Developer

The keyboard shortcut is a good suggestion! Thanks for playing!

Simple idea! Really fun to play, nonetheless. Amazing work!

I love the simple concept and the very polished art. Great job!
